  1. Essentially, they’re going to need a Hotfix for the Hotfix.
  2. It moves while you try to reposition… You’re left wondering what areas it will actually download. You don’t have to recreate with each update, they aren’t likely to update the photogrammetry anywhere near that fast. Most of it is from 5 to 6 years old. For that and the VC runtime CTD, I would encourage you to create Zendesk reports. It’s worth a shot to create a thread about the VC runtime thing here, maybe someone can help you. I agree, some of these bugs are getting frustrating.
  3. A troll is not simply someone you disagree with.
  4. Wait. You were able to paint the manual cache area, without the cursor moving without your input? Asobo broke that last fall, and they don’t seem to be interested in fixing it.
  5. It will be a while before I can try this, but: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/legacy-mode-when-interacting-with-cockpit-instruments-switches-got-nerfed/426668/8
  6. Besides which, they said it would be usable offline.
  7. That’s still on M$. It seems to be random when something gets approved. And they claim they don’t curate.
  8. I knew it would be a gamble for whomever purchased, but I didn’t think it would be *this* bad.
  9. In the past, he’s had a tendency to abandon current projects and move on to the next one. Meaning, little hope of bug fixes.
  10. Yes, but for anyone who didn’t watch the stream, it will need to be emphasized, as it will (edit:probably) be unexpected.
  11. Don’t have any time stamps, but they said this (pc = dx11) will be clarified in the official forums.
  12. PC build will still be DX11. Edit: i meant DX11, the 2 was a typo. (“Will still be”)
  13. I hope they’re not going to force Bitlocker in Home. From what I can gather, the TPM requirement is for “future updates.”
  14. What a shocker, it no longer works. Thanks, M$.
  15. It was working before. That is the official MS procedure. Either it's another regression bug, or a new "feature". It's too bad, because at least you could still play when the connection was down (either yours, or Microsoft's). All you can do is file a Zendesk report, and hope they acknowledge it. I haven't downloaded the latest WU yet; I can try again after that. https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/games-apps/game-setup-and-play/play-games-offline-on-windows-10-using-offline-mode
  16. Was that meant for another thread? The Community folder shouldn't have any effect on downloading/applying the updates themselves; only if there is a CTD after the updates have been applied.
  17. Step 1 above. Step 2: launch MSFS (and any other MS store limited connection games) once while you have the internet connected, and let it load. The next time you launch MSFS while offline, you should be able to play. Rebooting shouldn’t affect this. This only applies to the device you applied step 1 with. Any other device you have MSFS installed on will have to be online until it’s finished loading. You can change the designated device a limited number of times per year. (Memory serves it’s 3 times) At least this is how it is supposed to work, unless there is another regression bug at play.
  18. I wonder what they consider the “official” way of creating liveries.
  19. Combat is not modelled. If you really think they could add that and still have an acceptable user experience, I don’t know what else to tell you. But I think you do know what I mean.
  20. If you want to have a playable combat system, as opposed to a slide show (if even that), “limited map sizes” are what you have to accept. I don’t like “limited map sizes” either, but I don’t think Blackshark/Azure or whatever can overcome that.
  21. That wasn’t what I said. There is a reason DCS has limited map sizes. There is also a reason why their planes and maps cost what they do.
  22. I know for a fact they are not. I know this because I *am* paying attention.
