obnoxious pop screen has not reappeared. I have flown two great flights, Great model. Now I can endorse it. Carenado, when you read this, don't do this again. Poor marketing of a really great product.

By now I should know better than buy a aircraft on first release! i. I have a popup screen telling me about how the knobs work. says it will go away in 5 minutes. There is no way to close this screen, X does not work. When i restarted the sim. here comes the popup screen for another 5 minutes. Can anyone explain why the altimeter has red and white bars. non functional the autopilot just does not work, impossible to set, remains dark I have only had thisproduct for 30 minutes.

can not get the activation to work. always get an error. wrong serial number. coping right of the page and pasting into the form.

Concerning my problem with the autopilot pop-up. Just reloaded the aircraft, now looks fine. That solved it, Nevermind

A new issue with pop up auto pilot display. With P3d I now have a border around the auto pilot . The other pop ups are fine. It was working alright until I moved it with the mouse. Now it looks funny, with a border and says autopilot. Can,t get it back to the way it was.

not really a fix, but may help. The cabin pressure setup is difficult to adjust. I now can get it every time. Go to the view where you are looking down on the adjustment console, throttles need to be out of the way first. Turn on all the knobs and switches. Then place the cursor hand with the finger on the letter N of the word cabin. The engines may need to be spooling up. That's when I usually set up my cabin pressure. I get this to work by using the wheel on my mouse. 2. Power,, or lack of. This is no mystery to most people. Go into the citation folder, make a back up copy of the configuration. Open and scroll down to thrust scalar 1. Change this line to - thrust scalar 1.2. You now have a great deal more thrust. I tried 1.3 but it was way too much. Realistic? Of course not! But until Caranado gives us something better it will hold us over. After increasing the thrust scalar I can climb like a fighter and the take off is dramatic. Easily make FL310 now or higher.

Has anyone got the autopilot to work in approach mode? I noticed APR will not work if HDGi is on or ALT is on. No glidslope indication on the HSI either. I have yet to successfully complete one ILS landing using the autopilot. The Iris forum always shows an error, always. It is useless.

i noticed that I now have some extra files in my FSX folder. Texture1 and texture3' they contain references to the Farchild panel and panel sounds. Also Avelina sounds. Folders named mountains, desert etc. most bizarre. I do not know where they came from. I assume from the Farchild I installed. This can't be right?

i think I have found the aircraft I will be using in P3d for a while. Very good ride. I do not need any dammed auto speed control hold either! Auto pilot works perfectly if you are familiar with that design. I agree a new high.

I have only one flight so far. Beautiful model. I noticed my analog back up altimeter was stuck at 12000' although I was at 18000. Odd.

I am not sure what is happening with my aircraft. When I use the autopilot button programmed on my joystick, the plane will hold heading and angle of attack, altitude. Actually kind of handy. The reason I am here is to find out what is going on. Is this the way it is designed? What about the GPS button on the HSI? I have not found any documentation included.

Pressing the A key use to cycle through different panel views. For some reason it has stopped working. This is in P3dv2.3. Oddly enough I can use SHIFT + A, and it will work to change the view but in a reverse sequence. Very strange!

I have explained it as simply as I could. If you install your dash as directed and put in the code your were given it will work just fine. You can validate the install by looking at the HSI when on the ground. It should be level. If you try to COPY the dash from another drive or another computer it looks good but will not function correctly. It will bounce and cartwheel all over the place. It is unflyableable. All the business about changing points in the cig. Changing tesselation and other posts and magic solutions are as I said nonsense. Yes if you delete it and reinstall it correctly it will work.....if you do not already have a copy. It is obvious that some people are trying to circumvent the valid install, and then find it will not work. In my case I got a new SSD. Then tried to copy the dash folder over to a new drive. It looked good but did not work. It finally dawned on me it was a piracy protection issue. I am a valid customer, and so I installed it correctly and no further issue. Yes ther are five pages here of various fixes. All are incorrect and will not help. It is an anti piracy issue. That is the big secret. The same type of issue happens with some other products. Flight1 products are an example. If you copy over one of the product folders between computers it will show up just fine. Only there is only a black panel or no gauges. If you instal it correctly no problem. Try to get it for free and it will not work. I hope that is a reasonable explanation for you!

This nothing more than anti piracy issue. Also I mistakenly thought I could have both the FSX and the P3d installed. I was mistaken. It works well in each sim but not both. Choose which one you like. If you sent a support ticket to Magestic they will straighten it right out for you. I hope I am not sharing information they want kept quite. Start the sim load the dash. When it starts to act up, use slew to stop it from bouncing, then use F1 to get it back on the ground. Go inside to the panel view. Observe the HSI. If it is off center, angled or upside down this means the product was not installed correctly, with the right permission. If the HSI is correct and level you have a valid install. PS, I have my FSX and P3d on two different drives. Perhaps it will work in both sims if they are on the same drive. Seems to me I had it that way at one time. As one person says it will, I don't know. I had it FSX yesterday. Deleted that, and installed it into P3d along with the FScrew2 add on. It works just fine and I have used it in both sims. Not just at the same time.

I agree with Tandy above. I use the 185 every day in P3d. Works fine. I have never used a migratory tool ever.

I think your personal vendetta with these companies should cease. Please move on.

To give credit where it is due, all my FSDT products are now working without any errors in P3d 2.3. , I have six airports all appear to have all terminals, textures, etc. BTW do turn off antivirus software before trying to install. Just like they say!

May not be related but a guy on another forum said he was having errors after using new Navidia drivers, the most recent.

From what I read they may work. But not advised and not supported. However they are turning out new versions with triple installers at an unbelievable rate. Southampton today, three p3d scenes this week. And about one a week. All region and global stuff is LM compatible

I should have just waited. The Flightbeam forum put up a post to the effect the new installers are coming shortly. Now just waiting to see if anything happens with the FSDT folks.

I jumped at the chance to install the new 2.3. First by patch, many problems, didn't work for me. Now I now the reason of FSUIPC etc. Then went the full install after deleting a perfectly good 2.2. Sound familiar? Anyway now have 2.3 up and running. Looks good. Spent last two nights reinstalling scenery and aircraft. However can not reinstall my FBI, KDeEN or KSFO. Something about "this scenery is for 2.1 and 2.2. I am stuck. KDEN is there and the addon MGM. Says it is installed and active. I have runways and equipment showing but. No terminal! Not to addon but also with FsDT half of my scenery has terminals but KLK and KIAH does not. Possibly related?

With the help of Magestic Support I have my Dash 8 sitting on the tarmack once again. Yea. All these other cures are nonsense, as I thought. Support got me straighten out. Thanks

Unfortunately I have tried removing and reinstalling so many times they now say I have exceeded my download authorizations. Maybe I should email majestic. Anybody know who to contact to open a ticket. I say I am just going to walk away from this problem, but you now it was expensive!
