You can try getting the 737 down at Bowman KHQM. Quite a challenge but it´s possible.

Well, i´m just a young Student, so paying 130$ for planes I fly rarely is just way to much. Probably when P3D is working great, I might get the 737. But not the 777. I have it for FSX but I haven´t done a single flight. It´s just not fitting me with my main focus of shorter flights.

I´ve never changed there anything. North America alsways active, no problems with that.

Hi Guys, I´ve just installed a little enhanchement for Coupleville NALF to be usable as FCLP-station with vLSO. The base scenery is Orbx PNW. I belive I have deleted everything which interferes with KNRA (the AFCAD´s which came with Whidbey NAS from MAIW) but the ground level is not correct. MY plane will sink through the ground till it reaches the runway a few feet further down. I´ve got some pictures to illustrate the problem: Has anyone an idea how to fix this?

Did you deinstall Orbx piro to installing the new FSX? If you have FTXCentral installed, try changing it back to default.

I´ve checked the DVD´s, FSX only is stated there as platform. It´s PNW and some airports there. That looks rather complicated though. Thanks. Looks like I´ll have to register...

Hi guys, I´m currently gathering all information for a switch of my main sim from FSX ACC to P3D. I have a question regarding Orbx sceneries. I know they do have a sperate support forum over there but I´m not keen on registering there for just one question. Anyway, onto the topic: I´ve got several Orbx sceneries here with me, all on CD (remember that 5€-sale for every scenery at Aerosoft some time back?! ;-)) I know that they should be ready for P3D but I guess as I have the v1 on CD I don´t know whether this will work. Has someone done similar befor?

Hmm, I´m currently at the same question. FSX runs quite ok. I´m just waiting for VRS to release the Superbug for P3D. Too bad the PMDG´s cost so much, I guess I´ll skip them and don´t buy them again.

Wehn I fly airliners I pretty much ignore them in IFR on the way up, only paying attention ot the height restrictions. As soon as I am on cruising altitude and get a change to a new frequency, I tune in but don´t report m,y precence. Thus I can go away, read and do something and the FMS flies in the meantime. I rerestablish contact before decent and try to follow them back to the runway. Works pretty well.

Yeah, the prices are going up. I track that down to the more knowledge and capabilities in developement (did you ever thought that something like A2A´s AccuSim or the kind of detail in the PMDG 777 would be possible when FSX launched in 2006?). And with this come more and more time consuming addons to develope. Lets not forget that there are some lifes depending on developing addons. I for myselfe don´t buy anything which looks nice, I´ll check all reviews and videos available to stop me from getting some nasty surprise by not being as I expect.

I have no words for this...Thank you Tom for all you´ve done! Without AVSIM, I would never got so much into flightsim as I am now! Thank you for the time I had the opportunity to be part of the staff! Fly well wherever you go ... and don´t worry about AVSIM, we´ll keep it running!

It´s a nice little navy fighter, just my ballpark. Too bad it´s armament isn´t changeable and thus you have so much versions of it in the hangar.

Ok, I had the time syncronisation in FSUIPC on. Unchecked it, let´s see whether this was it.

I´ve got the registered version of FSUIPC but I can´t recall having messed with time there. I will check back.

Hi folks, my FSX ACC-Installation has a very strange behaviour. Sometimes and pretty much random the sim reloads the AI traffic (that what it says). Unfortunately I can´t recall any exact date when it first happened (probably when I reinstalled everything after a HDD crash). Ttat problem produces very annoying results like when I stand ontop a carrier with the VRS FA-18E and it get´s reloaded, the carrier is gone and TacPack tells me I´m dead and I spawn somewhere up in the air. Has anyone a clue what´s causing this wiered behaviour?
