  1. You can’t. It’s clearly stated that the FSX and P3D licenses are separate on their website. There is no upgrade path.
  2. Unless you have the create and load option in the FMC selected.
  3. I don't have FS2Crew so can't comment but I'm guessing there must be a way to have it start at a different stage.
  4. Again, those were all developed by the same company, LM Aeronautics is a different legal entity (read company) to the LM that develop P3D. There's really no need to further argue this point because it's not going to happen. If you don't understand the difference between a company division and a subsidiary, I suggest doing some business reading.
  5. Welcome to the forums, please be aware that PMDG require you to sign all of your posts with your full name. Are you running the latest versions of the 777? You can check by launching operations centre.
  6. Legs page RTE DATA (Or Legs data can't remember but it's 6R bottom right) Again 6R or bottom right will have Load. Hit load then execute. Then it'll say VNAV DESC FORECAST UPLINK or something similar. Go to VNAV page Go to VNAV Descent page (3/3) Go to forecast (5R I believe) Click load again. Don't believe you have to execute this one.
  7. If the projects are under the same company. In LM's case, P3D and the F35 are not even the same company. Completely separate subsidiaries, with each having no effect on the other. Sure the subsidiaries are owned by LM, but the subsidiary itself is a separate legal entity. Having worked for "enough huge international companies", you would know why these international companies set up their operations this way. Hence my original comment. LM isn't about to shut down P3D because the F35 is having a hard time.
  8. Go to FMC > PMDG Setup > Options > Simulation > Page 8. Set SIM PLN FILE FOR WX to "Create and load to sim". In Active Sky : Go to Options > General Options > Auto Load simulator flight plan > tick the box. After this, you won't need to load a plan in AS16, when you load a plan into the FMC and execute, it will automatically load the exact same plan into AS16.
  9. Hmm. Unless you have something interfering and trying to control the autopilot, there is no reason that it should not work. I'd have a look at all your addons and try and think if any might interfere with PMDG.
  10. I sometimes wonder if it's not obvious enough (hint of sarcasm, it is obvious but not to everyone). Maybe a shortcut to the intro should be placed on the desktop by the installer and automatically open it when installation is complete?
  11. So when you set the heading and push in the heading knob, the aircraft doesn't turn?
  12. I’m guessing you’re not in hdg select mode. You have to push the heading knob inwards to set hdg select.
  13. Yeah it's just one of those Windows things.....
  14. Eh grain of salt. That was their view back then, as more details have come to light their position may well have changed.
  15. Make sure you’re running the sim as admin. Same as above
  16. This is your problem. You need to read the intro manual which will explain how to resolve this.
  17. Are you using any shader mods or lighting mods?
  18. That sounds like a hardware axis problem or something else is interfering. In another thread on this, users sent in support tickets and PMDG acknowledged they were looking into it but were having a hard time tracing it.
  19. That normally happens when you chose to update using the repair function.
  20. I've always gotten a major FPS drop while adjusting flood lights brightness. Soon as I stop turning the knob, FPS returns to normal. I don't think a fix was ever found for this. This problem isn't dynamic lights related as the PMDG internal lights are not dynamic lights, they are the same as in previous sims. Only external lights are dynamic.
  21. These CTDs are plaguing other users too. PMDG are aware of these and are trying hard to find the cause and fix them. Probably, try flying the tutorial flight. No. The FDE takes the place of a flight engineer, not a pilot. Fuel management is the pilot's job, not the engineers. Chances are you've missed something, definitely fly the tutorial.
  22. Can you both access the main PMDG website?
  23. PMDG have a dedicated support ticket system which gives customers a direct link to PMDG's tech support team. This forum is a customer forum for people to ask questions and get general customer to customer support. FYI - PMDG require you to sign your full name in all posts on the forum.
