I don't think that's what Dan meant. I think Dan was trying to point out that there shouldn't be RAAS 32bit getting installed with the 747 for P3Dv4. I think we should be asking why OP is having 32bit RAAS installed and registered in P3Dv4, when nobody else is. Dan was simply saying that if the installer was incorrectly doing this, then everyone would have the issue. What installers are you using for the 747 and 777? Are these the latest installers designed for P3Dv4 or are you trying to force old installers using a migration tool? Also, full names are required in the forums as per the rules.

I have a theory about the Ops Centre issues but just have a question, did you have the 747 and 777 installed in P3Dv3 before upgrading to v4? How did you upgrade from v3 to v4? I have a feeling these issues are caused by stray registry entries being left behind when P3Dv3 and the 747/777 was uninstalled and v4 being installed. I think the Ops Centre is getting confused by these entries. In another thread someone posted Ops Centre logs of an attempted update, it seems that it looks for P3Dv3 first, then P3Dv4. I'm thinking that when you're trying to download liveries/updates, it's failing because it's seeing the P3Dv3 path first, can't find the files then bugs out.

The update window in the operations centre says that a full uninstall and reinstall is required. I can't remember the exact wording but Kyle posted it on another thread.

What's that got to do with what I said? Person I quoted said they have a 1080 graphics card designed to run games at 4K resolution, I told them the differences between P3D/FSX and a game and why that doesn't necessarily transfer across.

Open event viewer and find the crash, what does it say?

Why were you doing a repair? Did you uninstall the old versions and install the new versions? Or did you try and install over the top?

I don't think the friendly atmosphere is gone, I think it still exists but the laziness of some people and bad attitude of others is wearing thin. How many of these posts have we now seen? Both NGX and 77W? Everyone knows that any news will be announced and pinned, so what is the point of these threads? Then when people start attacking PMDG because a free update is taking longer than they originally planned, how do you think PMDG should respond to that?

Well you approached it the wrong way. Either way, you've been told the answer. The answer was it's coming soon. Use the search function, you'll find your answer.

Check the pinned threads in the general forum, when there is news, that's where it will be.

Then why are you acting so aggressively towards Kyle? Calm down. Also, PMDG do not take kindly to people disrespecting other developers on this forum, so you might want to tone down those comments as well or you're going to be out of these forums faster than you'd like to be.

When there's news, they will tell us. That has been the way in these forums since day 1. Maybe if you stopped writing everything in CAPSLOCK and started replying with a calmer attitude and show a bit of respect to them, they might return you the same.

You're acting like PMDG owe you the NGX update for P3Dv4, when in reality, they're doing it for free. You're complaining about not getting something for free when you wanted it. No I really wasn't, I was referring to the Aerosoft A32x which they have announced will be a paid update to P3Dv4.

The problem here is P3D is a simulator not a game, most games don't have anywhere near the calculations that P3D does. Plus, most games rely primarily on graphics card, P3D is heavily CPU based too.

His welcome was telling you to follow the rules and sign all your posts with your full name. Also, relax. It's a FREE (YES FREE) update. They could say no we're not updating it to v4 or make you pay for it (Looking at you AS A32x) then what would you do? Try showing a bit of respect for people who are putting in time and effort to give you something for FREE.

It's so you can be addressed on a first name basis, making it a bit more personal than anonymous people on the internet. Further, they can use your full name to look up your account for things like support tickets, potential piracy etc.

Yes and they also said that it was an expectation, not a hard release date. Expectations change as things progress, I thought that one was obvious. I don't think they need people badgering them about it, it'll be released when it's ready to be released. This is the exact reason why they never give release dates, or estimates of release dates.
