  1. Do you have FSUIPC installed? If so try moving the FSUIPC.ini file out of your Modules folder
  2. It says in the Operations centre that an uninstall and reinstall is required, on the page for that update. If you don't know what Estonia Migration Tool is then it's best to leave it that way
  3. Really Bertie? You and I both know fully well that we're talking about uninstalling and reinstalling PMDG products. Not to mention, as Kyle had said, removing the FSUIPC.ini file would also have fixed the issue and would have avoided the reinstall.
  4. There is a separate license for P3D which you can see in the PMDG store.
  5. What's better? A BMW or a Mercedes? It's really down to your preference. Although the curved screen is a bit of a gimmick not worth the extra money. The 34" Ultrawide will give you extra horizontal screen space (you'll see more VC left and right), but the 4K will mean you can lower the AA (possibly even switch it off). However keep in mind it takes some serious graphics power to run a 4K screen, not sure if a 1070 would do it without struggling slightly.
  6. Are you using or have you ever used the Estonia Migration Tool or similar?
  7. Anonymous (PMDG requires you to sign all posts with your full name), Have you checked your key bindings to ensure there's no overlap? Could you at least give us more details? Did you install the 773 correctly (i.e. full uninstall reinstall)?
  8. I don't think so. The last dreamlifter for V1 (Or was that V2?) was just a model with no performance/cockpit differences.
  9. Hello, Please note that full names are required in the PMDG forums as per the rules. Does the operations centre say you are running the latest version of the 747? Are you using the Estonia Migration Tool or similar? Could you go to Start > Type "View All Problems" > Click View all problem reports > Find P3D > Double click the error > Copy the error details here
  10. Hi Dan, What's changed on your system recently?
  11. I definitely agree with you here. A pinned troubleshooting steps post would definitely go a long way in helping people get started.
  12. It's not pinned, but Kyle is always going on to people about uninstalling and reinstalling to try and fix issues. It normally just creates more problems. Generally with P3D, most issues are caused by some conflicting addon somewhere, so an uninstall and reinstall isn't going to fix that issue, you need to find what the problematic addon is.
  13. That's for updating the software, not troubleshooting.
  14. It's better to rule out all other influences into the system such as 3rd party programs/hardware before uninstalling reinstalling anything.
  15. From what I can remember, in the NGX all displays are popup windows and the FMC is too. I don't think there are any other 2D panels. If you'd read both product pages, you would know this.
  16. The obvious uninstall and reinstall that PMDG specifically recommend NOT doing?
  17. Start menu > Type "View All Problem" > Click View All Problem Reports > Find P3D in the list > Double click the crash > Copy paste here

Anonymous (Full names are required in forums), You need to give us way more details than that.
  19. Alright lets not be too rude. Have you tried opening a support ticket?
  20. Since this isn't a PMDG specific question I think you would get better advice over in the FSUIPC forums.
  21. First step: Try it again with no weather programs running (active sky etc.) If no change Second Step: Remove all hardware joysticks/throttles etc. and try with just keyboard and mouse If you're using FSUIPC and above doesn't work Third Step: Remove the FSUIPC profile DON'T uninstall and reinstall. That's terrible advice and isn't likely to fix anything. You need to rule out what is causing the problem instead of blindly uninstalling and reinstalling software with your fingers crossed.
  22. Definitely agree, although I'm sure people will not even bother opening the readme because they've done it so many times before and it's worked fine so should be right this time too?
  23. That looks to me like the operations centre can't connect to the server, something's blocking it's access.
  24. Just to rule out a navdata problem, could you reinstall the latest navdata?
