Asiana B-777 Reported Down At KSFO
On the 17 of January 2008 British Airways Flight 38 (speedbird 38) , a boeing 777 -236 ER registration G-YMMM , crashed on approach to London Heathrow . According to the accident report reported in Wikipedia , the final AAIB issued on 2-9-2010 sited simultaneous loss of power to both engines was due to ice crystals which had formed in the fuel and had blocked the fuel lines. Heres the Wikipedia link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Airways_Flight_38 I'm not speculating, how ever the similarity's are striking. Also did anyone else notice how far to the right the debris trail appears to be off the center line of the runway threshold?

Buttkicker & NGX
Bought mine from the St.Louis Comp USA store back in 2007 before they folded. It's great and been working great ever since. Try firing the Hog's gun in Modern Combat or DCS, very cool. When I'm taxiing along in the default 737 I can feel the expansion cracks in the taxi ways, no joke. Playing music video's on you tube really thump with the Logitech 5.1 surrond system and the buttkicker. Pop in your favorite air combat, war, or science fiction movie and hold on for the ride. Fantastic peace of equipment.

Could this ever happen in MS Flight - Virtual Reality?
Well, it's fine for the first person shooter games or even as an exercise device, I could see using one to take a hike through a virtual forest. As to using it for flight sim, how do you envision using it as a pilot?
- Is there a way to get rid of that green text line ?

HI voodoo, actually the mem modules default at 1300 on this board, and as I said I haven't got into the oc'ing or resetting the module speeds as the I7-3770K runs hot on air cooling and I want to go to water cooling before I do. But thats ok for now as I am getting fairly good results with the present setup but am looking forward to running in the 4.2 to 4.5 GZ range. My current situation however, being retired and on a fixed income rquires a little here and a little there so water cooling is down the road. I noticed that your computer experience is above average so I assume you pressed the delete key on the keyboard to try and access the BIOS, on my board if I want to get into the BIOS I have to swap my usb keyboard with a ps2 type as the usb keyboard does not power up untill after the post screen, so that may have been part of the problem. Would deffinately be interested in what you determine to be the problem when you get the computer back. Please post the results. By the way thanks for the reply. Best of luck, Vecter.

In your original post you have your processor listed as a I5-3750K. Checking Gigabytes main website for the GA-Z77-D3H motherboard CPU support list does not show this processor, I suspect this is just a typo and you may have a I5-3570K , is that correct? If so you need the F-18 BIOS can you confirm your BIOS? Are you able to get in to the BIOS screen? Also the Gigabyte specifications for that MB show 1.5 volts for non-ECC type memory modules as being listed.Try setting the memory module voltage to auto. Here's the link for the Gigabyte GA-Z77-D3H website: http://www.gigabyte.us/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4327#sp and for the CPU / BIOS support list: http://www.gigabyte.us/support-downloads/cpu-support-popup.aspx?pid=4327 you'll also find the downloadable memory support list link there as well. My apology's if this is information you already possess. By the way I'm running a I7-3770K on a Gigabye GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 with 4 x 4GB /1600 Corsair XMS3 memory modules at 1.5 volts with F-12 BIOS and it's running great. I haven't tryed OCing it yet so my voltages are set to auto. Hope you get it solved and can start enjoying your new setup soon. Best of luck Vecter.

Intel Haswell Benchmarked
Interesting to see the stated thermal ceiling to be 84 watts even with a 7 to 13% increase in performance over the I7-3770K

Interesting and challenging airports
Load up your favorite regional or 737 liverary, I like the Westjet for this flight,at CYYC Calgary, Canada to KMSO Missoula , Montana USA and land ILS11 right down the valley. It really helps if you have the ORBX scenery's and REX. Great scenery and this time of year as you descend down the valley on the VOR glide slope you'll usually find you pop out the bottom of the clouds with mountains on both wing tips. Great fun with a little pucker factor thrown in.

FSX Does Not Recognize GTX550 TI?
Vecter replied to waj23061's topic in Video Hardware: Monitors | Multi-Monitors | Video Cards | Drivers etcI have the EVGA 550TI and have had excellent results with it in FSX and Lockon as to the problem your experiencing I would remove the driver and run a driver sweeper or registry repair tool then download a fresh up to date driver from the manufacturer or GeForce. Here's a link to a driver sweeper http://www.guru3d.com/content_page/guru3d_driver_sweeper.html Hope this helps . Best of Luck . Vecter

The 777 isn't that big, is it?
Anybody got a shot of a B737 with a B777 behind it and a A380 behind the 777?
