Flying around Alaska...
If you are a fan of FSEconomy - you can check out www.chilkootair.com - we dispatch routes out of PAJN, PANC, PAKN, PABE, and PAFA.

Pressing NAV turns on AP!
I discovered this as well. Really hoping a service pack comes soon and/or Bert does his magic with it.

I Need 'Motivation' to Fly!
www.chilkootair.com - every flight is fully dispatched and we have around 50 pilots flying each month. We also use FScloud for online flights. The flight dispatches using the FSEconomy system are what really helps FS burnout.

XP online flying clients - which is better?
Check out www.FSCloud.net. There are some really great features with the new FScloud info tool.

Has anyone purchased Alabeo’s Saratoga II TC from PCAviator?
I use PCAviator almost exclusively and I've never run into problems. As you said, this is probably a busy time for all vendors and time zone differences play into how quickly you will get a response.

Anyone own the addon Air Hauler?
Air Hauler is nice, but for me it gets old after a few weeks. I've tried just about everything out there (FSCaptain, AH, FS-Airlines, FSPassengers) but the only thing that has stuck is FSeconomy. I've always gone back to this because of the multiplayer environment as well as it being free.

FSX Fiber Accelerator?
@drayton_k I had the same problem. For me it is because I don't have .net 3.5

Runway effects killing fps
I just purchased the DX10 fixer a few days ago and so far I have been really satisfied. It has taken a while to tweak, but so far I'm seeing better fps and smoothness for the most part. My problem (and I'm sure this has been answered but couldn't find it): Whenever I'm on a runway and dust/snow starts to kick up behind the plane, my fps will drop (around 10 fps). It will do this even when I'm in the cockpit and the effects are not in sight. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there are way to turn this off? I'm using REX 2.0 (I'm too cheap to upgrade) and Opus for weather. I'm running a 2500K @4.4 with an old GTX460.

I'm looking for a Caribbean VA...
I can't figure out tradewind's website (fleet details, etc.) and I can't get a response from flycay (hopefully I'll hear something soon though, because this looks like what I'm looking for). Thanks for the responses so far.

I'm looking for a Caribbean VA...
I would like to join and fly for a Caribbean VA (or one that services the region) based out of TNCM. I'd like to fly my Twin Otter or BN2. Anyone need a pilot?

Will definitely be removing...forgot to take those out. Thanks. Update:

Need Someone to Test Scenery
So, I've just created my very first, very basic scenery for FSX. It is Elk City airport in Elk City, ID (S90). I use ORBX NRM, so the scenery will probably not look right without it. If anyone could try it out for me and let me know what you think, that would be great. Here is a link to the WIP pics: http://fsemissions.boards.net/thread/7/s90-elk-city-ias-wip Send me a PM or reply to this thread and I'll give you the link to download. Thanks

Looking for a new aircraft...
Sorry to add another "what to get" topic, but here it goes: I'm looking to purchase a new plane and need some advice. I've been considering the C337 by Carenado or the C310 by Milviz. I'm looking for the best/most realistic flight dynamics. I purchased the Turbine Duke not too long ago and think that this is the most realistic plane that I have flown in a sim, but now I am looking for something a little slower. I love the way Carenado planes look, but after purchasing several, I'm really tired of the way that they fly, however, I've heard that the 337 has really good flight dynamics. Can anyone attest to this? I've also read some really good things about the 310 as far as realism goes. So, if you had to choose the 337 or the 310, which would it be? Thanks!

OpusFSX
Hi, I'm looking into purchasing OPUS in the near future, but I have a question about the "Live Camera." I have been looking at purchasing EZdock or FSPS 3D Real Cockpit Effect to get the head movement and shaking in the virtual cockpit that I get in the Flight1 BN2 Islander. From what I have read, OPUS does this. Am I correct? Does the demo version show this feature? Also, does this work for every aircraft? Thanks! This product looks great and has much potential.

Coolsky DC-9 Released!
I returned it because of FPS issues and because I couldn't read the overhead even with the 4096 option. Flight1 said it would be around 5 days to process. I thought it would be more of a hassle than it was to return, but overall it is a very easy process. I was really looking forward to the DC9 because of the steam gauges and old-school nav. If it wasn't for the FPS issues, I would still be flying it.

Recommend me an add-on for FSX
ORBX - any product they have to offer. However, KJAC has just been released and will handle larger iron.

Best ERJ payware?
Try this: http://secure.simmar...onal-jets.phtml Edit: There are two versions in this package, FS9 and FSX. You can also download free liveries at FeelThere's site.

Best ERJ payware?
If I'm not mistaken, these are the same. Wilco publishes the Ejets developed by FeelThere. I've recently purchased the Ejets V.2 (135,145,145XR) and am very pleased with them. Edit: By the way, they are having a sale - I paid $32 a couple of weeks ago, but I saw them for $24 I believe at Simmarket last night. Great deal if you ask me.

A Newbie Keystroke Question
(+) and (-) - next to backspace work for me to zoom in and out in virtual cockpit. Hope this helps. Edit: Just realized you are talking about "moving" not "zooming." I have a hat switch on my yoke assigned for this. But, I believe the shortcut is shift+enter and shift+backspace to move forward and back. Sorry, I'm not by my FSX pc at the moment.

Can I use Saitek and CH together?
I've got a CH Eclipse yoke and have been looking to add pedals. After reading reviews, it seems that the best way to go is the new Saitek Cessna/Fighter pedals. I'm wondering if I can use these with my CH yoke? Thanks!

Wilco Publishing CRJ Next Gen
Yes, please someone let us know about this one. I just purchased the ERJ package on sale from simpilot.com, so I don't want to throw more $ into regional jets unless this one is decent.
