  1. As it looks to me, you have left the profile mode. (The altitude bug on the altitude band and the lable CLB Thrust 30000 is withe). You may want to pres PROF again. That should do it.
  2. Hi, I am also a user of the i7-3770K, and I am running it at 4.5GHz. I would suggest, that you buy a decent cooler even without planning to overlclock, as that processor can get pretty warm and I expect the stabdard fan to get pretty loud then. I think the power supply is a little bit too weak. I would reccomend 750W+ but thats your decision. One final question: Why are you not going for the i7-4770K? Best regards, Jonathan
  3. Hi Tom, Problem is solved on my side. Thanks for the help and thanks for providing this forum! Best regards, Jonathan
  4. Hello, It looks like the stylesheet or whatever you use for the mobile page is gone missing. The content (links, text, etc.) is still there, but the desing is missing. Best regards, Jonathan
  5. To your point number 3: As far as I know good old McDonell had a patent on having two of those on both sides of the engines. As far as I am aware they reduce the approach speed by 5 knots.
  6. I don't know which file you are running but it sounds like you run the PMDG MD-11 installer, hence the repair option. If you download a livery you should run the installer of that livery, and not the MD-11 installer. Then there should not come a field up which asks you if you want to repair or remove.
  7. I belive the Airbus CRTs refresh at 100Hz, but I haven't been able to find information about their LCDs.
  8. I have only used Aerosoft NavData Pro so I can't make a statement if it is better than Navigraph or not, however I like the automatic cycle installer. Coming home, reading the mail that there is a new cycle available and then just opening the NavData software and waiting for about 30 seconds or so is pretty comfortable, at least for me.
  9. Run the external version of the IvaP client and your CTDs caused by it will go away instantly. In the worst possible case you might have to restart your IvaP client while FSX will keep running without problem. Best regards, Jonathan
  10. Question: Do you have Flaps or Speedbrakes assinged to an axis of an external hardware device such as a yoke or whatever? If yes, try to remove the axis within the FSX settings and try to load the NGX. If it works, you have the same problem like me. I talked to Tabs and he said it will be fixed after 777 release.
  11. Yeah of course it will do! Why shouldn't it? The MD-11 does it and I guess the NGX does it too.
  12. The PMDG MD-11 was the first AddOn I bought for any flightsimulator ever. Without it, I maybe would have never spent so much time with flight sims. Without it, I wouldn't even have started to think about a PPL and I wouldn't hold one today. So, I would really love to see a MD-11 V2, or an updated version of it.
  13. Hi, You should be able to find it within the FSX menu. I think somewhere in the graphics options, however it could be somewhere else. Best regards, Jonathan
  14. Well about paying for toilet usage and other things often mentioned by Michael O'Leary, like his suggestion to remove one pilot from the Cockpit. He knows that is never gonna happen (at least not soon). However, he knows that every news paper, many tv news and a lot pages in the www will rumor about it. And that's what he is after: Free advertisment. Any reputation is good reputation (not always, but often). I have read an interview of him, where he explains his tactics. I will try to find it. Back to topic: A pitty that Austrian has no 737 anymore. I have never been able to fly with one,.. If I think about it I have never flown with my national airline Austrian. lol
  15. There is a nice freeware RAAS available which does a great job. You can find it in the AVSIM file library.
  16. I usually take off with the autothrottle (40%N1, then TOGA). However on a manual thrust take off (autothrottle not armed) the TOGA should still be pressed. This should trigger some important functions, like the postion update for the IRS/FMC at the beginn of the runway.
  17. Hi, I am working on a new little programm and I wanted to ask if there is any forumla/table/whatever available on the internet to calculate/find takeoff distances according to flap settings, temperatures, altitudes and weights. I know the documents available on the Boeing website, however I am looking for something a bit more precise. Does anybody know where i can find what I am looking for? Best regards, Jonathan
  18. Yes I guess that is supposed to be so. The reason for that is that you release the parking brakes by fully pressing the brake peadals and not by pushing the lever back forward.
  19. Thanks for the feedback Gerard! Nice to see it also works for you! Rick, if you go to the "Full Editor" You should see a section with the lable "Attach Files" under/below the the textbox, not. In the toolbar above the text. There you can click on "select file" which will bring up a choose file dialogue. There you can select the file you want to upload. Then hit "Attach This File" and it will be uploaded and attached to your post. Best regards, Jonathan
  20. Hi, In the full post editor, below the text field you find the option to attach files. Best regards, Jonathan
  21. HI, Sorry, today I am to stupid to post a link. Here you can download the file: http://fuel.cwsurf.de/MD-11_Fuel_Planner_v1.0.0.zip Best regards, Jonathan
  22. Hi, So finally I can release the version 1.0.0. You can download it from here. The .NET 4.0 Framework is requiered to run the application. Thank you guys very much for your help. Without all your feedback I wouldn't get it working. Best regards, Jonathan
  23. Thank you Rick for your help! I might have been able to nail it down now. At least I got it working on my testsystem. Can somebody please try this? NOTE: .NET 4.0 Framework requiered Thank you, Jonathan
  24. Hi Rick, Can you eventually install the Visual Power Pack? Hi borgfan, I will try to get it on Win32, however this may take a while. Best regards, Jonathan
