  1. Ok, I wasn't sure if I missed anything. Thanks
  2. I know PMDG has mentioned the rain effect in the past but has it been implemented? I am not seeing it on my sim. Any ideas?
  3. It's already been explained. FSX and P3D are two different platforms. There is no ability to upgrade at a discount nor an option for a no fee upgrade/switch. You will need to pay the price again. Trust me though, it's worth it :-)

This is the consumer version. You are probably referring to the business type mongul seating where airlines squeeze everyone for their dimes. Give your passengers that "extra" room they deserve ;-)
  5. I see. Yea that would be a good reason. I'll just wait for the bird to come out when it's ready to come out. It's soon though right...? I don't mind paying for a quality product.
  6. What P3D hotfix are you guys referring to? I do not see it anywhere... Nevermind I found it...
  7. I'm glad we are all entitled to our own opinion :-)
  8. I hate it when people around you talk about it but others don't have a clue what's it about. I'm sure there was a good reason to remove "that" post. I'm just that much more curious now. :-/
  9. I don't understand why people want their sim at 100, 80 or even 40 fps. Your eyes can't ditinguish anything over 30 fps. So anything above that, kudos to you
  10. FPS in P3D are non relevant. They will deceive you in almost every possible way. You could be at 9 fps and still have the quality of 30 fps on FSX. In other words, don't compare sims and its software by measuring FPS because there will be a difference. The important thing is that it works. P3D is designed to use hardware that FSX would never handle. Additionally it uses DX11 technology.
  11. This changes with P3D v2.5 Instead of going to: C:\Users\******\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2 Go to: C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2 Edit file: "SIMOBJECTS.CFG" Add Line: [Entry.X] <<-- Replace "X" with next consecutive number Path=SimObjects\IVAO_MTL This assumes you have already installed your IVAO MTL files into the P3D folder.
  12. I got the 777 for P3D and I did not get a double charge on my card. Not sure what duggy35 is talking about assuming that everyone got double charged. I might have been special then
  13. There are alot of variables involved in hardware that makes P3D and FSX work for some but not others. But there is really no need to vent here guys. We're all here to help eachother that's why it's called support forums so there is really no need to bash on "the other" product because it doesn't work on your computer.
  14. I can't fly into the snow storm. My ASN is not compatible with v2.5...yet :(
  15. I wouldn't be so sure. Double charge is a problem with the transaction not the company. Something the card company and the merchant can sort out together with little involvement from you. That's why you pay those interest rates for that service I do see your point too though...
  16. How about calling your credit card company to reverse the charge?
  17. +1 ....v2.5 works great for me too! They made lots of great improvements
  18. Many FSX products are compatible with P3D. It's worth switching over.
  19. There are "things" my wife will never find out about :-) and if they come up? It was always there, you just never paid attention :-D
  20. This is the best upgrade yet. When comparing the 777 to FSX capabilities in P3D, the difference is just too great to explain. You just have to see and hear it for your self when you get it. You won't be dissapointed.
  21. Did you guys notice how you approach a terminal and sounds change by bouncing off the building? Holy crap that was just awesome. I have never seen this in FSX. Thanks PMDG for making an already awesome product just that much better! P.S. I do have a 5.1 sound set installed with a 5.1 THX speaker setup. Something to consider before saying it does not work for you.
  22. Taking ownership of all P3D files did it for me including P3D it self. https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc753659.aspx
