YES!!! Finally, someone else who has experienced this!!! I have had it too, luckily only while taxiing - the ailerons jam to the right, and the NGX freezes - but it responds to throttle, and braking, I think. It hasn't happened recently, but it has happened!

Good to know I'm not the only one! I'm sure they'll adjust it now for the next patch :DI also installed it just for the 'it won't hurt' recommendation - I was getting a kind of freeze before, but not the kind of freeze reported.

After installing the hotfix, I noticed this problem - I'm assuming it's a side-effect of the hotfix simply because that is the only variable that changed. I could be wrong, but I'd like to see if other people are getting this problem - and if anybody knows how to sort it out! Quite simply, when using Squawkbox, if I press a button that is already a keyboard assignment for something in FSX (for example, Shift + E for a capital E, or G), despite the focus being on the Squawkbox window, it doesn't input into Squawkbox, but instead sends the command to FSX. For example, when I'm inputting my flight plan into SB, when I write 'EGSS', it doesn't write the 'G', but instead moves the gear lever. The same when I'm typing in UNICOM. This doesn't happen when the focus is outside of FSX / SB, for example I can write what I want to write in Notepad, then paste it in. Anybody else having this problem?

Hi there Craig, This sounds quite similar to a problem I have been having. The other day I landed at EGTE and started to turn the plane around on the runway, as I'd gone past all the taxiway turn-offs. The plane suddenly became completely unresponsive to certain controls - I couldn't control the rudder, ailerons or anything. I could still, however, control the throttle - so the plane just went round and round in circles. I had this issue again one time while flying, and I had to abort the flight. All other times it's been OK, it was just these two times. Anyway, I've just installed the hotfix, so I'm hoping that will prevent it from ever happening again.

I waited up until an ungodly hour last night, and eventually gave up and went to bed - fair enough, it had been released when I woke up this morning at about 0545Z. I couldn't buy it however, since there was a 'Database Connection Problem'. It told me to wait a few hours. I went for a sail for a few hours, and I've just got back in the door, in eager anticipation of buying the 737NGX. There's still a database connection problem... I'm aware about the DOS attacks, but surely after this amount of time you've managed to block their IP addresses? If they're all coming from the same region, or same country (China), can't you just block the whole region or country until the download demand decreases? Eager to know when I'll be able to buy and download it. Caspian Merlin
