  1. Exactly, but in order to make a personal opinion look like a fact, it is necessary to overlook anything that does not support it.
  2. I read the entire article on LinkedIn, all the way to the end. The customer eventually did get their money back, once Amazon had been persuaded by the author of the article, not the customer themself, to intervene. Almost always, going above and beyond is the result of an individual's level of commitment to customer support. Of course, that level of commitment varies from support person to support person. Just Flight evidently have chosen their support staff well.
  3. An April Fool is never meant to be side-splittingly funny, it is a "prank". A prank is "a trick that is intended to be funny but not to cause harm or damage". Humour never travels well and this topic is a perfect example of that.
  4. There is nothing like a cheerful and positive view of the future and indeed, this is nothing like a cheerful and positive view of the future. While they would all be nice to see, a small amount of tolerance makes them really easy to overlook. Not to mention that this doom-laden view is a little premature.
  5. In some ways, you are very fortunate. A full reinstall of everything, including the world updates, would take an estimated 103 hours of downloading here in my part of the UK.
  6. Hello Steve, that is a great shame, but distressingly is becoming a more common phenomenon. May I place on record my gratitude to you for the Fixer and the consistent support that you have given to your customers. I have had the Fixer from the day you released it, followed by all the updates and addons that you made. It transformed the FSX experience and I still use it today.
  7. I meant, why did you install to D:\ and not to, say, D:\Microsoft Flight Simulator.
  8. I think it happened with the last small update, it has only been like this for a few days and for everyone, not just beta users.
  9. Judging by the internet, everyone is.
  10. It is not just those who prefer the simulator to open in full screen. Even if it is set to start in a smaller window, it now starts like this: and then reverts to this:
  11. It's still working here, maybe you could try another browser, or clearing your existing browser cache.
  12. It looks as if "their support link" is not broken. Support - Orbx (orbxdirect.com)
  13. The DC6 can be flown by "pilots" of all abilities. There are preset states and indeed a virtual flight engineer to do all of the background work. Once you have let the aircraft do all of that, to take off, all that is required is to open the throttle, something that should not be too challenging. Thereafter, the virtual flight engineer will keep the aircraft systems under control for you. On the other hand, you can set it to break down, choose to do everything for yourself and lose yourself in trying to get the engines to start, let alone make it fly. It really does have something for everyone and is a masterpiece of flight simulation software.
  14. That is something that in recent years has become even more so, as expectations exceed reality. At one time of day, most feedback was asking how to make things work. These days, it is mostly how whatever new product is not good enough, often based on a niche obsession held by a tiny minority. Sometimes, a tiny minority of only one.
  15. As they state that they are "planning to add some liveries to my planes", this is a fairly safe assumption. Their own screenshot shows that they are looking in the wrong place and the first reply links to the right place to look.
  16. Indeed, though I doubt that will help the OP to find the packages folder, or prevent those who do not understand that they can choose, to do so. The point, well made, that the default installation is "buried" is entirely valid, in both the case of the Steam and MSStore default locations.
  17. To be fair, I bought and installed MSFS on the day it was released and installed its content into G:\Microsoft Flight Simulator, which is where the Community folder, which is what the OP is looking for, has also been since then. It has never been mandatory to use the "default location that the MS Store uses" for the Official and Community folders.
  18. Thankfully with the Microsoft Store, you also get to specify where your MSFS install goes so it doesn't get buried by the default location that the MS Store uses.
  19. Once again, the main point that is being ignored here is that their forum is sponsored. It is not a free for all and however indignant you may be, it is entirely up to the owners what is allowed to remain there and what is not. While your complaints may be allowed to stay here and at social media platforms, there is no reason at all why they cannot choose, using their own parameters, what is allowed to stay and what is not. It's just a fact of life. The option not to go there at all remains. Mine is to scan and see if there is anything useful and move on.
  20. Where is the "Community" Folder MSFS2020 : The Spirit of Flight Simulation (justflight.com)
  21. You are mistaking commercially owned forums for places where you can post whatever you want to. If you cannot help yourself, there are plenty of other outlets for your erudite interpretations of the present.
