  1. I had problems reading when very young.... Right up until my screaming grandfather did an altered States/Incredible-Hulk mixture and banged his way up the hallway threatening to rip me to pieces if I wasn't reading faster before he reached me.... After that, I became a speed reader, which was a problem, as I found I now finished most books in an hour or so, and it wasn't worth all of my weekly allowance money for that short of a distraction. So.... I began actively looking for the thickest books I could find, so I could spend a little more time with them; while my classmates regularly had me read aloud to them to demonstrate how fast I could go. I actually got in trouble in school, because when the teacher asked me to read in turn after others in class, I was often completely lost, and it was years before they realized that what was actually happening was that I had gotten bored and skipped far ahead and had no idea where the class was. Ancient (and mostly forgotten) history. Then I bumped into this, and tried it as a random lark. Interestingly (to me) I easily got to the end at supposedly 900 WPM, but not without experiencing a strange feeling of mild breathlessness... I wonder where that places me in the average nowadays, amongst my fellow adults.
  2. Thought this was...... Interesting. FSHud_Admin — 6/2/2026 3:39 PMTuesday, June 2, 2026 3:39 PM Navigraph / Flightradar24 Traffic Integration Update After reviewing the new Navigraph / Flightradar24 real-world traffic integration, we have decided not to integrate Navigraph / Flightradar24 traffic into FSHud - Air Traffic Control. Navigraph / Flightradar24 provides real-world live traffic based on aircraft that are currently active and transmitting tracking data. If an aircraft is powered off or not transmitting, it is not included in this live traffic data. This type of live traffic already exists in Microsoft Flight Simulator through the built-in MSFS Live Traffic option. FSHud - Air Traffic Control can already use this type of traffic through the existing MSFS-Controlled Traffic interception. To configure MSFS Live Traffic interception, follow the guide below: https://www.fshud.com/site/knowledge/traffic-settings-v2 As live-traffic sources, both MSFS Live Traffic and Navigraph / Flightradar24 traffic are limited to aircraft that are currently active in the real world. They do not provide schedule-based airport activity, such as parked aircraft, planned departures, or continuity from arrival to the next scheduled departure. FSHud - Traffic works differently. It provides a more complete traffic solution using both live flights and scheduled flight data. This includes airborne traffic from live and scheduled flights, scheduled airport departures and arrivals, as well as parked aircraft with departure times and destinations based on airport schedules. Hourly traffic snapshots are also stored, allowing live and scheduled flights to be provided for the selected Simulator Time. Happy flights!
  3. If I feel the occasional need to blow stuff up in a fighter, I go to......
  4. One wants to destroy the humans now, and the other wants to wait until after they are fed.
  5. I've come to the conclusion that Bob's previous owner was an a**

I'm pretty adventurous, and I think the bridge is pretty. And the waterfall feature is pretty audacious, but as for that observation deck....... I think I could probably work myself up to trying it. But on the other hand, I could get hit by a sudden wave of vertigo, and not be able to do it. What do you think?? Would you try it?
  8. And now I feel sorry for having showcased the work, and then almost immediately feeling forebodings, about what was probably going to happen. I apologize.
  9. Instantly found mine with no issue...... Are you using a custom location?
  10. Just another heads-up: A neat little tool I came across that some might find useful! Flightsim.toMSFS2024 Toolbox - MSFS Add-on - Flightsim.to✓ For Microsoft Flight Simulator: The MSFS2024 Toolbox is a versatile utility designed for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, offering a suite of tools for managing airport scenery duplicates, BGL files
  11. This has been building forever and ever...... Beginning right after companies first began trying to say you were only purchasing a license, and upturning the concept of ownership. I was one of the people trying to get a class action started against Microsoft for leaving zillions of games for windows live customers with no access to their purchases (Remember Flight?) MS eventually backed down by temporarily reenabling the ability to access your license keys and download/ save your purchases (I still have FLIGHT on my HD because of that) but my trust is permanently gone.
  12. AI Overview In the Early Access version of the train simulator game RUNNING TRAIN | 走ル列車!, the total track length is over 40 kilometers (25 miles) of meticulously handcrafted, detailed route. The track features two Japanese rural and coastal railway operators, made up of a main line and a branch line: Main Line: Playtime is roughly 20 to 40 minutes one way for local and express services. Branch Line: Playtime is roughly 9 to 13 minutes one way for local-only service. The developer has noted plans to expand the total track length to 80–100 km in the future.
  13. Well, in my case I have four 16GB sticks, so I could still be fine....
