The aircraft texture resolution is probably set wrong! Try to modify it in the advanced settings menu.

When you have AI aircraft, cars etc. running in FSX, it will of course cost a lot of FPS. Flight has no AI traffic yet, so that should be one of the reasons for the much better FPS. Also Flight has no backward compatibility, which will give even more FPS. 30 FPS is a good framerate, in both FSX and Flight.

My anti aliasing in Flight is working horrible on my HD6950, only supersampling seems to help.

The only freeware F-50 is the Dreamwings F-50, but that model is a bit dated. Don't know why the VirtualCol has disappeared.

In which way is Flight supposed to be experienced? I think everybody experiences it in their own, personal way. They did a nice job on Alaska, repetitive textures were also used in FSX and others so I don't think it's a real problem.

My 6950 has the same problem, only catalyst supersampling does the job.

I very rarely experience problems with FSX, and when I do, it is my own fault (too much addons installed). FSX itself rarely causes problems when you have a decent PC. It's mostly caused by the addons. There is plenty of information about basic aircraft on the Flight website.

I think X-plane will be the future for flight simulation, Flight isn't meant yet to be a complete simulator featuring jetliners, fighters etc, however Flight does offer some great fun when I'm bored with FSX.

Oops, I've forgotten to read some older news updates..... 1.5 millions square kilometers should be enough for at least a turboprop! I wonder if they want to take this direction, Flight has some great potential.

I liked the Red Bull Air Race challenges in FSX, they should add these elements! People like beating each other online.
