nutural phenomenon or bug?

Featured Replies

Just flying around I saw a remarkable situation. Is it a 'bug' or a natural phenomenon?

I you whish, see it yourself. Take off from Hunter Creek (AK66) - north of Cordova Smith Airfield - and fly half a minute on course 066.

By the way, the mountainviews on Alaska are great, especially I like the condition: summertime-low and threathening.

In Hawaii we had some "Lost" nostalgy, now it's more like the devs are doing an hommage to "Fringe" :Alien:

That's the drain... all that rain has to go somewhere... duh...

If you had experience with some of the older flight Sims, And got a dollar for every find like this, you would be a rich person.

I wonder how deep it is....

I think there is a thread going at the Steam Forum that is accumulating a list of terrain errors. You may want to post this one there to make sure the devs see it.

nose dive into it... how long before you hit something?

I think that is how you get to Brazil. :)

Yeah, a couple of us found a HUGE rectangular hole out there somewhere about a quarter (half?) mile across or so, big enough to fly down to the bottom about 1,000 feet down. Unfortunately none of us can remember where it was! D'oh!

There's no place like this place, so this must be the place.

Yes, but back then they did the whole world. Now they work a smaller area so It should be alot more easy to get things right.

I think there are to many of these bugs, kills the immersion for me. I've been flying FSX for about six months and haven't seen any scenery bug yet, but in flight alaska I've seen more than I can count.

in FSX there is one, see this video.

I know there are plenty in FSX I just said I have never encountered them, seen plenty of youtube videos of bugs. But my point is I seem too run into them all the time in Flight, but haven't seen anyone myself in FSX. Maybe I'm just lucky with FSX...

And I as of yet have not run into them in Alaska, but obviously there are some as evidenced on this forum.

I imagine the best thing would be when one runs across them, to post the location and details on the Steam support forum, in hopes they can get fixed.

Good for you  , I get them every time I play this game. :(

Obviously time to go back to FSX and look a little harder.
