  1. I placed my pre-order the moment I saw the news this morning. I'm really looking forward to release day!
  2. The Mig-21 is now available for PRE-SALE at 10% off. http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/shop/modules/mig21bis/
  3. Going to be an instant buy for me for sure. I don't quite have a clue about Russian aircraft by a long shot but that is the whole reason to buy it right? To Learn! Looking forward to it, Leatherneck sure seems to have done a great job.
  4. Holy moly! Do I need to get an amateur radio license to be eligible to purchase?
  5. That is an extremely well done video. Thanks for sharing.
  6. I.... Need.... this..... MIG!.....
  7. Looks darn good guys. I love where this simulator is heading, especially your Mig. No doubt in my mind I'll be happy flying it.
  8. Fantastic! I'll look forward to the Hawk's release for sure.
  9. I bought this jet as soon as I could and my first impressions are wow! I love it! I'm anxious to learn the Sabre inside and out. Well done ED and belsimtek, thanks for your efforts!
  10. I'll happily buy this wonderful jet as an open beta, count me in!
  11. Yes this is all done via the NVIDIA control panel. Once you check to enable Surround it will ask if you would like to create bezel corrected resolutions or no, select yes. This will bring up a picture of a road split across your bezel and you use the up and down clickable arrows to find the value that lines up the road across your bezel. For example, mine is always 210. Continue and it will create a bezel corrected resolution. Note that once surround is completed, you are NOT using the bezel corrected resolution yet. In the NVIDIA control panel select Change Resolution and it should currently be on the "recommended" resolution which is not bezel corrected. Make sure you select the resolution that says (bezel corrected). It should be larger than your recommended resolution. Now the image should pass behind your bezels and also line up properly.
  12. I can't say for sure as I don't own any of them however from what I've heard the 780Ti is the best GPU you can get for a single monitor and the Titan Black is the best for a multi-monitor setup for those running Surround.
  13. I'm not sure off hand if anyone has had any luck with getting Surround to configure with a HDMI to VGA cable. It is always worth a try. I am using an active DisplayPort to DVI converter for my Surround, and it has to be active. This also may be the case for your setup.
  14. Dragging the windows across all of the monitors will work however your bezels will be misaligned and it won't look very good. I would recommend using NVIDIA Surround to set this up as long as your monitors are compatible. You still have yet to inform us of what monitors you are using and what connections are available on them.
  15. First off, how about some details on your computer system and monitors. what GPU are you using and what connections are available on the monitors?
  16. If there's room on your hard drive then why not put it there? We're all here because we love the world of flight simulation. Why tie yourself to just one? Every platform has it's pros and cons, some more then others. I like to keep an open mind and have options for whatever my mood that day. Some days I like to take the Leading Edge Simulations Saab 340 out for a flight within X-Plane. If a longer route is my desire, FSX works great for that. P3D to me seems to provide some more environmental immersion so I love aimlessly flying around some general aviation. Had a bad day? I'll take the DCS A-10C out and that will put a smile on my face. Everyone has their preferences but nobody is here to tell you you need to play one flight sim and one flight sim only. Open your horizons and give it a shot, you might like it!
  17. Well your question is a very good one. I can't seem to wrap my head around it. Looking at the product specifications, Matrox does not make a Dual unit with DisplayPort/Thunderbolt connections in and out. So I think in regards to connectivity, you'll have to go with the Triple DP Edition which has one input DisplayPort and three DisplayPort outputs. But I must stress that this is pretty much a trial and error setup you'll be doing. If you do purchase the product, be sure you purchase it from someone that has a decent return policy if it does not work out for you.
  18. I know that you are using DisplayPort cables to connect to the iMac but how? I thought the iMac only had one mini DisplayPort unless your using a newer iMac that has two Thunderbolts?
  19. Well the best monitors to use for this would be the Apple Thunderbolt Displays. The great thing about those is that they would work on both sides of the operating system whether your in OS X or Windows. There should not be any additional software that you would need to install to make this work. The Thunderbolt displays come with the cables needed to hook up to your iMac. The one drawback is that I believe you would only be able to use the extra monitor(s) as exactly that, extra space. Meaning you would still run FSX on one screen and be able to drag other windows or programs to the other monitor. Being that your using the internal GPU on the iMac you wouldn't be able to configure NVIDIA Surround to have a true bezel corrected wrap-around gaming. This doesn't mean you can't wrap-around the FSX window. You could drag it across all the screens no problem however it may not line up properly across them all. If you can live with it so can I. I hope this is helpful for you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. This will be an excellent aircraft to utilize the upcoming 10.30 GPS in the future. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. I'm not entirely sure you can run it full screen unless you want it to cover both monitors. When you extend to the second monitor as you need to do, the computer is going to think of both screens as one. When you run FSX at full screen, it will do exactly that. What I believe you'll need to do is run FSX in windowed mode but maximize the window to fill your primary screen. This will leave your second monitor available to drag other windows to.
  22. I think one of the underlying advancements we may see with this GPS is that it has Aerosoft's Nav Data Pro. As Philipp mentioned that it is an open database and user-expandable. I'm no aircraft maker but could this mean that developers now might be able to go more advanced with avionics such as the Avidyne's and G1000's? I know that danklaue has expressed his frustration in the past about not being able to get into X-Plane's navigation database to be able to customize and access maps and navigation to properly simulate a G1000. I could be wrong however, It's just a speculation and hope.
  23. I'm another triple monitor user of X-Plane, FSX, P3D and DCS. With X-Plane as mentioned above, it's pretty much as simple as using NVIDIA Surround and setting the Field of View where you want it. For my computer, I found my 680 4GB to be a little lacking in the triple monitor category for X-Plane. I had to turn quite a bit down. I am feeling out for a new GPU, possibly a Titan Black. Also I should mention my three 27's are 2460x1440 native so my bezel corrected resolution is 8100x1440. Not so nice for an aging GPU in terms of computer years.
