  1. As always, a brilliantly, exceptional job well done. You have all out done yourselves over and beyond the call of duty. Bravo ... !
  2. I live in Florida. I would like to see liveries for both JetBlue and South West which fly heavily in my region. Especially for the 777-300.
  3. I have installed, uninstalled, deleted files, cleaned the computer registry and done everything concievable to unregister the PMDG 777-200LR and it refuses to do so. This has caused a registration problem with the PMDG 777-300ER. It polls for the passkey verfication and then it simply doesn't work. No access to either one. I would like to know if anyone else has had this problem and what the solution is.
  4. Thank you Dan for your quick response. In response to your question, I have only FSX. Not to seem out of touch, but I don't even know there was a new version of FSX by the suffix SE. I'm still trying to find out what that is ... lol. I changed the setting on the executible for the OC with adminitrator rights. But, the problem persists. I did what you suggested prior to this post and submitted a ticket to PMDG technical support and I'm waiting for a response. In the meanwhile, I guess I will have to do without my other textures for the 200 and the 300. I'll post a reply when PMDG gets back to me. Thanks!
  5. Installed new update to Operations Center and now I do not have any of the functions and features that it used to have. No livery manager, no liveries, period. No settings for any of the models. It only gives a message in red stating if you downloaded the new installer you can use it to install for the SE version of FSX, or the original version. That's it! Where can I find the older version to restore the functionality that was available prior to the update?
  6. Set everything as you want it but DONT close them. Leave everything open as you want it saved. It should retain everything, including your flight plan if you wish just as you set everything. When you load it will display everything as you saved it. If you close the FMC panels, they will revert to their original state and you will have to reconfigure.

My cam is not working. Is there anything I can check to make it work?
  8. I am having an odd situation with the Operations Center not making any connection with my broadband while everything else does. I recently partitioned my disk drive to allocate for FSX. All PMDG aircrafts are functioning normally, but the operations center refuses to either update, or even connect past "checking for updates" before giving me access. It simply clocks and never connects. I have no idea why this is the case. Point-of-interest, FSPassengers also refuses to access their server to authenticate having the same problem as the Operations Center. Anyone has any knowledge why this is? Should I simply delete the partition?
  9. I am having a problem with the lighting of the runway in 2D cockpit view. Lighting works fine in VC and External views. Splashes in daylight setting is enabled. FSX illumination checkbox is active. Active Sky Weather software uninstalled. Spotlight.bmp is present in FSX and I took ownership. Special Effects Detail checkbox is active. I'm at a loss. Any suggestions?
  10. Thank you gentlemen for your help. I am going to check with PFPX and see what they say on the subject. For the record, I never include the SID and STAR on my flight plan. I use the ATC assignment for takeoff and select my SID and STAR based on the designated runway for departure. The irony about this glitch is that I can use the other uplinks (i.e., wind, des forecast) and it works just fine. It's only the "Request" link for the flight plan. But, no matter. I will see what they say. Thank you all again.
  11. Thanks for help! I quite understand. I don't seem to have any problems with recalling the flight plan by entering the Fula name, nor when requesting the wind and decent forecast. It appears to be isolated (at least for me) to requesting the flight plan only. Planning and entering the raw data into the FMC is fine too. Everything else works as it should. But, my concern is that I have a paid subscription with PFPX and would like to get my money's worth using it, but if it's not possible due to the new update, I would like to recommend that PMDG look at this issue on their next update. I was really enjoying both the planning software and the airplane.
  12. I had deleted all the flight plans before installation as well as the panel states as suggested by PMDG. The flight plan I made attempt to load was created NEW by using PFPX. Does this mean I need to tweak the specs on the aircraft profile on PFPX or am I no longer able to use that planning software? I will read up on the subject you referenced as well. UPDATE: I just read the thread you referenced. All the steps indicated I previously did when doing a fresh install to troubleshoot the problem. Everything had updated fine except that when just clicking on the "REQUEST" uplink it immediately crashed. Previously, before the update I was able to click on it and wheather or not there were flight plans in the 777 folder it would show the contents of the folder without glitches. Now it won't even open the folder. It simply crashes just by the click of my mouse on the uplink. I apologize for not clarifying earlier.
  13. I'm the proud owner of the PMDG 777-200LR and 777-300ERX. All was working fine until the new update. After following the installation instructions I began to experience FSX crashing to desktop when I used the "REQUEST" uplink as before to get my flightplan onto the FMC. I uninstalled the entire thing and reinstalled without the update to troubleshoot the thing and everything was working fine again. I then made sure that all the steps to install the update were as they should and again the problem occurred. I am in need of guidance with this issue. The updates were obtained directly from the PMDG website instead of the Operations Center because of an installer issue. Both the 200LR and 300ER were updated individually to correct the problem. Now this ... "CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP"?
  14. Did exactly as instructed in the thread discussion link provided above. Deleted all flight plans and panel states as suggested. Installed SP1b as administrator. Logged into PMDG re-downloaded and installed 777-300ER and now both indicate on Operations Center as having been updated. HOWEVER, I now have a problem with CTD when using the uplink to retrieve any new flight plans which was not a problem prior to the update.
  15. On the subject of SP1b ... I just did the installation and as I understood it, it was supposed to update both the 200LR and the 300ER. However, when I go to the Operations Center it lists the 200LR as updated but the 300ER as having a new update. That's not the kicker. The message shows as follows: Installed Version 1.10.6036 Available Version 1.10.6061 A New Version is Available Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the message stating the old for the new? At the moment, I don't know if my 300ER updated, or not. When launching FSX it asked me to OK the module popups for the update on both aircrafts, but it doesn't seem to show as updated on the Operations Center. Is this to be expected, or normal?
  16. There is no science to installing. In the beginning it exported the route, but not the fuel plan or anything else. Now it's the entire plan. Contrary to popular belief, I haven't had the priveledge to have the same wonderful experience everyone is attesting to. Since the day of purchase all I have been doing is troubleshooting the thing. I'm not expecting a multimillion dollar flight plan, just my money's worth. Its disheartening to find that customer support is non-existant and a resolution nowhere in sight. I will contact Aerosoft direct. Otherwise, I'll just go back to my previous method of flight planning. Thank you all for you help.
  17. I am using the PMDG 777-200/300. There isn't a category "sun/lighting". There is however, a category under options to assign a keyboard key for each of the light through FSX. But, I did not assign one to any of them since the aircraft lights up in VC mode and Exterior mode. It's when I'm in the 2D cockpit that I don't see them anymore.
  18. I am having the same problem exporting the flight plan to my 777-200/300. When I make the request and load it there is nothing. The software does not export the waypoints, the fuel, the weather, NOTHING! Just my departure airport and my destination. It won't even export the flight number I designated when in the planning phase. I tweeked the 777 when purchased as the instructions called for. I have taken numerous tutorials and training steps to properly do this and NOTHING. Did I just make a huge mistake buying this planner, or what?
  19. I just did a flight from KSFO to KSNS. GS intercept alt was 3500 per FMC route and final approach speed was suggested by FMC as 30/130. Craft was not overweight and fuel was at 17%. The craft initial touchdown was smooth but the nose of the aircraft came down hard. The result, crash. Speed brakes armed and deployed as they were supposed to. No winds to contend with.
  20. Any resolution? I too am experiencing the same problem.
  21. FANTASTIC! You have made my day! I will review the manual and see the tutorial as well. But, I do understand now. Thank you so much! As Kyle indicated, I was thinking NGX. The gross weight is accurate. Everything configures nicely. I just expected to see the same result as I did on the 737NGX. Thanks guys! You're the BEST!
  22. I am having the same identical problem with my craft. Everything is configured nicely and the trip goes as planned but when its time to select the final approach speed and flaps configuration on the Approach REF page it populates the empty field after your selection but does NOT make the change on the LEGS screen. For example, I made a trip from KSFO to KSNS as a trial run and made my selection for 30/137 as suggested on the Approach REF page. When I went back to my legs page, the FMC showed 170/1600 instead of the final approach speed selected. Has anyone else experienced this problem? If so, is there a fix, or steps to follow to correct it? By-the-way, I LOVE MY 777. PMDG has made a beautiful aircraft and I want to thank them for a job well done!!
  23. You were "RIGHT ON". I changed the tank setting for auxiliary fuel tank and corrected right away. The old panel states were deleted before installation of SP1 as the instructions suggested before a clean installation. I deleted all files and folders from all locations to allow for SP1 to do a clean start. The final REF 30/137 from the Approach Preference page populates the field when selected on the FMC but when I check for that selection change on the legs as it should for final approach speed to the runway, the FMC Legs remain unchanged at 170/1600ft and runway entry. I have to manually change it. That seems to continue. But the fuel problem was resolved per your suggestion to add auxiliary tank. It immediately resolved. THANKS!
  24. Good Afternoon All I am experiencing a problem with two things on the 777. The first, a repeating problem with fuel indication on FSX and FMC even while ONLY using the FMC fuel management system. FSX indicates, for example: at full it shows 89% while on FMC I select full. I tried re-installing after performing other tweaks from both ends; on the FMC and on FSX. I particularly noticed that when I default the values on FSX to zero in an attempt to allow FMC to set the correct amount, the values on FSX return to their original values reflecting 89% instead of 100% fuel. The same occurs with any of the other fuel levels selected on the FMC. The values do not match. Is there a workaround to correct this? Or, is this a normal occurrence? When first installed the values always matched. My second problem relates to the REF final approach speed when selected on the FMC prior to final approach. The change, or selection populates the field in the Init page but does not change the values on the legs screen. I have to manually make the changes on the FMC in order for it to take. Lastly, the ILS frequency has the same problem where I have to PARK the value in the NAV Radio frequency section in order to properly configure for final speed. Are there any solutions or work-arounds to these occurances that anyone knows about? SP1 was also installed and the condition still remains. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
