Parking Brake
I have the same issue. Every time I choose a new airport, I am rolling and accelerating, with parking brake on. Well, maybe I found the solution - I hit shift 8 and selected either the 'Cold & Dark' setting, or 'Ready for Taxi'. Seems to have worked.

Virtual Col Saab 2000 -- replaced VC
Closest thing I could find was the MD81/82 by CLS. I just had to adjust the eyepoint, which took a minute or two only. Not the closest matchup in terms of aircraft size and VC, but I really wasn't able to find anything closer that had an interior model that I could link into. Anybody got a better recommendation, I might try that. But at least this works -- this is in P3D v2.5:

Operations Center update -- now doesn't see Prepar3d NGX
No but that is a damn good idea. I have just uploaded to those as attachments to my support tickets as well. You don't suppose this here is part of the problem, do you? Finding P3D 15:08:47.366 Prepar3D SetupPath registry key was located but could not be read. hmmmm I might be about overdue to just ditch version 2.5 and migrate on over to version 3.2 pretty soon anyway. I'd been waiting for V3 support from one last developer, VRS, and that just came out the other day. We'll see what the support folks have to say first. And thank you guys for the assistance.

Operations Center update -- now doesn't see Prepar3d NGX
Reinstalling NGX didn't make any difference. I am tempted to think that something is wrong here this version of Op Center as it worked fine today before I ran the update -- but if that were the case then I'd not be the only one howling right now. I guess I am going to have to live without it for a while. Going to test the aircraft itself to see if it is jacked up as well.

Operations Center update -- now doesn't see Prepar3d NGX
No worries, I'll just uninstall PMDG and try it again. This is a little strange, though, as I was using the operations center just fine this morning. The migration tool was never an issue before. If I'd never updated the thing, I'd probably still be using it.

Operations Center update -- now doesn't see Prepar3d NGX
I have removed EMT and also the registry values. Still no change. I'll restart the computer and try again.

Indeed I do have it installed.

Operations Center update -- now doesn't see Prepar3d NGX
What is this all about? The operations center worked fine earlier this morning, then I updated it. Running win 10, and I have all the admin rights, etc. Not running FSX anymore but I do own the FSX version as well as the Prepar3d version. But very bizarre that this thing worked fine just a couple hours ago, before I updated things. Name is Mark A Sewell, in case that is required here.

Carenado new KingAir
I originally purchased the C90 from Aerosoft, and now they did not get the rights to sell the new one to the US market. So I suppose I cannot obtain this upgrade discount. I wonder if they would honor that if I purchased from them directly... not even sure where to reach them. I will just submit a support request on their site, I suppose. Cannot hurt.

Feelings about Sim director
Just now getting around to installing version 2.5..... anybody had any success with this new & improved Sim Director recently?

OPTIMIZE_PARTS=1
I was going to ask about VAS. Better FPS does not necessarily translate to better VAS (eg, less OOMs), which is really my big problem at the moment. But still worth testing.

P3D v2.5 OOM from using menus
Beau at LM made an interesting and informative post in this thread here: http://www.prepar3d.com/forum-5/topic/oom-when-selecting-plane/ This is what he had to say: Sounds like this might well have a profound impact overall on OOM reduction/VAS management during flight.

P3D v2.5 OOM from using menus
For most of us I think using the flight selection menus (select vehicle/weather/time & season/place) will cause OOMs in P3D v2. I am often advised that if I want to make a tube liner flight from one busy area to antoher, I had better start from a saved flight, in order to avoid using these selction menus. Word is that this is now fixed in version 2.5. Is this indeed the case? Can a few folks comment on this?

I need the best guide to optimize P3d v 2.5
Not good advise here. Do not use Bojote or NickN or any of that old testament FSX guidance for P3D 2.4 or newer. Much of it is redundant, already fixed in P3Dv2.5 and could even cause more problems. Affinity masks and pool sizes and things like that are good examples. Go to Rob Ainscough's site and look at his settings. Good place to start. The frame fiber addition is also a good one, try that as well.

Aerosoft US Cities Chicago
Just in case anybody wanted to get back on topic, I was going to make the comment that I have done alright 'selectively' installing the photoreal back drop, taking out the large blocks of urban coverage and just leaving the coastlines and airport backgrounds. Been experimenting this way with US Cities LA. So far the jury is still out but I get the feeling that it is better looking and somewhat easier on the FPS, but that might just be wishful thinking on my part. More test flying is required.

Wilco E-Jets V2
I have it, works pretty much fine in P3D v2 as far as I can tell. I used EMT to install but you might be able to just point it to your P3D folder and make it work.

Feelings about Sim director
Man you weren't kidding about the whole list of improvements for Sim Director -- the list is a full page long. Honestly I look at this and wonder how anybody ever got it to work, if there really were THIS MANY bugs for it. Would be nice to have a set of 3 or 4 basic flights or missions to use as templates. Take off, fly through a checkpoint, then go land someplace, something with the mission brief in tact alraedy and 'foundation' of the thing all set up. We can use that to edit and experiment with adding features and functions as we go along.

Milviz T-38A for P3D v2
I have the FSX version of this very good product and I would like to run a native version of it in P3Dv2. It is not clear, though, if I can purchase the upgrade for this for $9.99 as my original purchase was from Just Flight. The product page (link below) makes no mention of any restrictions. http://milviz.com/fs/item.php?id=T-38A However, I spotted this thread on the forums: http://www.milviz.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=3889 Evidently there was some kind of separation with JF? Pretty damn short response to this guys question IMHO. Then here in this thread another fellow, Todd Harrell, is told that the v2 upgrade is only avialable direct from the Milviz site. http://www.milviz.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=3912 So what am I supposed to gather from this? I am just out of luck and cannot purchase the $10 upgrade because I bought my original FSX T-38A from JF? Or am I reading way too much into this and I can just go ahead and hit the link, throw them my $10 and upgrade? After all, no restrictions are mentioned on the product page, and I do have proof of purchase.
