I wish you MANY MORE YEARS to fly young man! I think personally you have to give the new FS a try, I think we all like the new sims and hope for the best as they come out and I am just suggesting to give it a shot and explore the world with something low and slow that comes with it and enjoy it!

You can always tell a Norwegian, but you can't tell him much. If you bought all those addons in the past with the expectation that you will go to the grave with them then you've already answered your own question. However if you understand that you've got your moneys worth and enjoyment from them in the past and you know that new things are coming in the form of Flight Simulator then I say YES, YOU NEED IT! It will be a matter of time until there is a DC-3 to enjoy in the much more active living world about to be released and you can still always go back to the others until you are ready to stand on 2 legs in the new Flight Simulator world.

Don't forget some wives are actually not real either, they are just pretending to be a wife. If that's your situation then my advice is to contact clearance!

Let's assume some things. On release day some people will have expectations and others will not. Some people will be happy at looking at things and other people will be happy trying everything and there will be a mix of both like myself. Now, when Flight Simulator gets released and the people that like to look at stuff find things that aren't great or missing or not right will either say oh well and the glass is half full or take the opposite approach and feel disappointed and let down. The same thing will be true for people that like to try everything and end up finding things that are either broken, incomplete, or not working as expected will do the same things. Some people will just take the attitude of oh well, it will get fixed in time, others will expect to have a 3PD fix it and others will feel that testers and Asobo didn't do their job. THIS is the fact of any delivered product without knowing all the details. The frustration of one with an NDA and being in the know of things that may or may not be a major issue is that those answers can't happen until AFTER release and AFTER all the screen shots and videos are shown either trying to just show all the hand picked good stuff or focusing on only a few of the smaller bugs. I am pretty sure you will have bugs on release day, the question is how much the bugs matter to someone who cares or not. Personally, I want to be able to fly and do all the basic and advanced stuff that's available and I expect it all to work at a basic level that is being presented and if I want to go further or more advanced, I'm glad there are 3PD's or I can addon myself. If I am unable to complete a flight in one or some of the planes because of a basic system not working, I will feel jaded and it DOES take away from the whole experience but at the same time there is not much I can do and will try and go about using the sim from a different perspective at the same time hoping a fix is right around the corner.

Just be sure you are ready to embrace the same!

I've got some low hanging fruit here for you Chock while I whistle by the graveyard! I laugh about this stuff all the time to my wife in business meetings I have to go to all the time. It's ridiculous and not human and I don't personally do it so I've always been looked at as well as an outcast.

Has anyone seen Joe or Geoff? Just wondering if either one will come out of the woodwork with this new release! They always gave a breath of fresh air around here to me going back 20 years even.

Not necessarily binning FSUIPC but that Asobo made more variables through SimConnect so using this 3PD tool instead of waiting for Logitech to make updated drivers at least on day one is great.
