  1. Decided to spend the 20 euros and dusted off the q400 again. I am still amazed how Majestic manage to do what they did. I am getting 3.6/7.1 VRAM (I cannot justify spending that much money on a new RTX card) with setting quite high at a fairly demanding airport. The PC6 maxed out the VRAM immediately at this airport.
  2. Also found that MVAMS does not update the panel. It does update the passengers visible in the outside view and registers damage to the engine though. Did a couple of flights in PNG (the natural environment for the PC6) where the demand on the system is not that high and had no CTD's. Now I can do some bush flying again.
  3. Thanks for the info. The Porter is surprisingly demanding on VRAM (had to dial back some graphics settings) and I am getting CTD's after a couple of minutes of flying. Will have to do some digging.😡
  4. Thanks Milviz, got the Ported flying again. Had to figure out how to get the RXP GTN's going as the MVAMS tool did not update the V5 Porter. Strange that the Milviz forum makes hardly any mention of the updates.
  5. Good to see I am not alone. Should not be that difficult to implement. Wheels leave the ground - you have taken off.😁
  6. I fly MSFS every now and then just to keep it up to date but I have not purchased and add-ons for it. I still prefer P3D where I have a few realistic planes and accurate real world weather. I can also not believe that the MSFS logbook is still broken and does not record my takeoffs.
  7. The buttons does not light up when you press them on my system. You have to read the display to see what mode is active. As above they only light up when you turn on the radio stack lights.
  8. I logged out of all my MS accounts and logged gack in again and then MSFS started normally.
  9. I have not played for a while and wanted to do a quick flight but I get an error message. Microsoft Flight Simulator is currently not available in your account. Make sure you are signed in to the Store and try again. Here’s the error code, in case you need it: 0x803F8001 I checked in the store. I am logged in and it shows the product is installed. What the heck. Has anyone experienced this before.🤬
  10. I enjoy the EVO. I may not have purchased it if I knew what I know now but it is a great and unique aircraft. Still missing the 310 in V5 though....
  11. Fortunately we still have the choice to update or wait😁
  12. Very strange, nothing changed on my PC, not using steam and I ended up with exactly the same version as I had before the "update".
  13. No, not on steam. Did not see the option to verify files. It just started re-installing from the checking for updates screen😡 Was hoping for a quick flight but now I am grounded.
  14. Driving me mad. I was on 1.15.10.0, which I thought was not that far out of date. I have not used MSFS for a couple of weeks and now it is re-installing the game (61.63 GiB) when I thougt an updated would be fine. This is a crazy arangement and you have no control over this. Is this punishment for not playing regularly?
  15. Looks great, just this pole in the middle of the apron that seems a bit out of place
  16. Yes, sorry. My mistake😲, I was thinking of EGLC
  17. Great news. Hope the are working on LOWI for V5
  18. Uninstalled and installed the new version. Did a quick flight around Table Mountain and did an ILS approach on 01. Looks great and the default control tower is now gone. Thanks FSDG
  19. Thanks Jean-Luc @RXP for the support and suggestions. I am grad I decided to make the switch to the RXP products.👍
  20. Did as suggested using the C337 - Default GNS - everything works. Install F1 GTN 750 - Everything works (GTN is blank due to trainer issues but I can still tune the radios). Replace F1 GTN with RXP GTN using the utility provided - problem. I then used the configuration and panel files that Bert provided - problem solved. Bert suggested I use the same RealityXP.GTN.ini file for the D18S, did that - problem on the D18. By looking at the panel.cfg files Bert sent me I noticed that the F1GTN components left behind from the F1 install were not present in his panel.cfg files. By a process of elimination I found the window that contains gauge00=F1GTN!GTNStack, 0,0,255,870 seems to be causing the problem. Seems to be conflicting with the RXP GTN750. Maybe the utility can be updated to remove this window when you do the replacement. Thank you very much Bert. Your assistance is much appreciated.
  21. KTPA ILS R01L - Everything looks fine DME active LOC active GS active but HSI shows red and white error chevrons I can not find any other NAV/GPS switch Tried this setting, did not work Aware of this. Thanks for the help
  22. Flew it an a A2A V35B with the same panel setup and it work in that case. Will look for a hidden NAV/GPS Switch
  23. Bert, connecting GPS to VOR does nothing. If I use GPS as the source then the AP follows the GPS track and the flag is missing, working as it should. Tried the RXP GTN in the Cessna C337 and getting the same problem. So it seems to be deeper than the D18 😲
  24. I had a look at the manual and played wit the settings but nothing worked. You can see that the NAV1 radio is tuned to the selected frequency as the DME gives the correct reading and the HSI needle is and the to/from pointer is correct but the NAV error flag in the HSI stays on. My settings are attached.
