This looks a terrific flight plan I know how to load flight plans -plan files-into P3Dv5 Where do you place them in MSFS2020? Is it possible? xxd09

I think there is post over on Orbx forums to the effect that Microsoft Store cannot see Orbx installs and vice versa ie Orbx Central can see MSFS2020 However Orbx scenery is installed successfully Puzzed me for a bit because the Orbx Airports appeared to be successfully in place xxd09 PS I went looking for where the Orbx scenery was installed I opted to install Orbx directly into MSFS2020 but could not find it-maybe someone else could help here

I got the Aerosoft 10 disc package All in installed- verified and then asked for Game Disc-what’s that? UninstallEd all Microsoft Flight Sim applications via Win 10 -Settings etc Reinstalled all 10 discs Validation not accepted but must have been in system as arrived at request for a Game Disc again! I thought I would try Disc 1 -why?-and lo and behold off we went arriving at MSFS 2020 main screen menu (after some Microsoft updates installed) First flight to Courchavel with default settings-landed safely Squirrels 3 videos to set system up maybe Whew!!! xxd09

Now onto disc 4-6 to go! 2.5 hours so far -going to be a long day-and night Premium De Luxe xxd09

JBD3G I missed that one plane but to all intents and purposes-no Milviz planes or helicopters I find this a big miss-almost everyone else seems to have caught up I miss Milviz a lot but understand the problems for Addons manufacturers as P3D continually keeps changing Milviz promises results soon xxd09

No Milviz planes available in v5 yet xxd09

8 Orbx Addons are available as of now for purchase and then use in MSFS20 xxd09

Stan-what version of Win 10 are you running? I found that until I went to v 2004 -problems occurred Now all seems good xxd09

I was stuck on 1709 Had a computer with very up to date specs Tried everything including the local tec shop Very frustrating as P3D v5 performed very poorly Finally wiped everything and reinstalled Ie latest P3Dv5 hf2 Bit of a faff but 2004 made such a difference it was worth it I fly XPlane 11 too-noticible improvement here also In the end was a worthwhile exercise xxd09

I have P3Dv 5 hf2 I note that after loading my Falcon that the GTN 750x2 doesn’t install I have used the Configurator Tool appropriately Is this my fault or update needed? What could I try? xxd09 PS Flight 1 750 works in other planes in this sim

I have a Hotas joystick that works well in P3Dv5 It also works well in XPlane11 except for 1) Forward View plus panel 2) Chase view These two views very occasionally jump into another view or flicker a few times Quite annoying especially if it happens on a landing or taxing Hat switch seems stable Did not used to do this Anything I could try? xxd09

I updated my Win 10 to v 2004 from 1709 This plane now no longer works-did before Passenger and Pilot hang out of bottom of plane-plane doesn’t start etc This plane works well in my P3Dv5 Setup -also Win 10v2004 Anything I could do? xxd09

Agree-you need Orbx Scenery I have found nothing to compare with the RTMM for Bush Flying All RTMM items are free Infinite number of scenarios, Flight Plans,Bush airstrips ,Float planes and Helicopter pads etc etc An unbelievable resource for Bush flyers

As the original initiator of this post I want to say a little or large mea culpa I missed reading one of the minimum specs of P3Dv5 which is Win 10 v 1809 My system has been stuck at Win 10 v1709 for months even though on automatic update I could never get it updated-now in computer shop with the geeks to do the business May end with Win 10 v2004 and having to reinstall everything-v4.5/v 5 /XPlane OR perhaps only some of them will work properly -who knows Another learning curve for me ! Sometimes I fly as well! However when it all comes together it gives me a great feeling of of satisfaction which is the point of the exercise I certainly had not picked up in reading many posts how important the version of Win 10 the computer is running is-the fault is all mine Onwards and upwards xxd09

Windows Update Tool and Creative Media Update Tool both failed to do the business To the computer shop! xxd09

I may have a problem in that my Win 10 version is 1709 ie behind the curve! Some work to do-have automatic updates on but not doing the business! xxd09
