  1. This looks great, Tony. Are all the grass and pavement areas taken from ortho imagery?
  2. xOrganizer works just fine with 11. But I am also not sure what your purpose is in enabling/disabling large groups of scenery. There is no need to disable various things for different flights in X-Plane, if you are doing it because you are used to it from FSX. I would implore even the seasoned X-Planers to give it a try. I am very comfortable editing the ini file itself (also using Notepad++, a must-have app regardless) but xOrganizer makes things very convenient (and can also immediately restore your original ini file if you are unhappy with what it is doing). It also lets you easily enable or disable plugins, lua scripts, etc. MH1212 has done a great job with it.
  3. The author is very receptive when it comes to feedback and new feature suggestions. It's definitely worth hitting him up with your request.
  4. If you're able to: a short video or screenshots of your cockpit/panels are often helpful. We may be able to spot something..
  5. Not to talk down the quality of the plane but do keep in mind that 1) we haven't really seen much of the plane, 2) this is ATS' first release as a group of a complex airliner and 3) it is after all a consumer software product which is *guaranteed* to have some type of bugs on initial release. It's the nature of the beast. That said, I look forward to flying this and will be picking it up on release regardless - even if just to support MD-11 development!
  6. Perhaps we can convince Austin to add a chock dataref that freezes the aircraft in place while work is being done on the tire model. I am sure many add-ons could benefit
  7. Use the bug reporter: http://dev.x-plane.com/support/bugreport.html
  8. There are a LOT of differences between these paints. Quite frankly, I would be a little more careful throwing accusations like this out there.
  9. Oh absolutely, I have been a customer for a while! I just wanted to steer the conversation into a more productive direction and maybe get a snippet of info from Goran Thanks for elaborating. Being a software developer I definitely feel your pain!
  10. Other than obvious work that needs to possibly be re-done in light of XP11 features, the cockpit shots you've shown a long time ago made it seem fairly... complete. What has been keeping you busy on the Citation if you don't mind us asking?
  11. Now that is some interesting news, Andras! Thank you for sharing. I would guess that getting good reliable and global data for certain aspects can often end up being a challenge.
  12. I look forward to it and am sure we will enjoy it. Is it correct that your current development efforts are focusing on the Saab update (and that the Citation is the last on your list)?
  13. Too bad! Thanks for diving in though. Would you mind posting some shots of the panel? The pics on the org generally don't do the products justice. Are you talking about the Carenado? This is an entirely different aircraft by a different developer.
  14. Hey, I don't think it's a new aircraft, I think it's just been updated. I've only seen some footage of the old version and that wasn't all that great. Flight model didn't seem all that great and the texturing does not strike me as the selling point. No first hand experience with the model though, so I hope someone else will be able to chime in.
  15. If your fps are ACTUALLY in the low single digits, you need to file a bug report. And other than that... XP10 is still as good as it was before
  16. I think this is perfectly normal when it comes to release cycles. You work on something, start talking about it more when it gets closer to completion... it gets released and you go back to working on it.
  17. Current version is 1.06, 1.5/historical weather is on the future roadmap: http://xenviro.net/work.php
  18. As others have said, they look like this for you because of the settings you have chosen. Enable the atmosphere settings and you will no longer have those weird looking clouds.
  19. What are your other values in your fps display, such as cpu and gpu times per frame? Can you list the values you are getting when at low fps in the fps display?
  20. I look forward to purchasing that! I realize this is still rather off-topic, but I hope you have considered implementing an option for the RealityXP GTN 750. I am sure being one of the first devs to implement an option for it would be beneficial for sales, and it's a great fit for the Twin Comanche. From what I have read, implementation is also fairly easy.
  21. AFAIK, FlyInside changes a lot of things (such as the views). I would verify if what you are trying to do in XP works without FlyInside first.
  22. Perhaps it is a different interpretation of "ready for prime time" in your first post. Both aircraft have received the first type of update mentioned in the post by FF that you linked: http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/forums/topic/112162-boeing-757-200-version-2016-simple-xp11-compatible/ http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/forums/topic/112161-b767-version-1122-simple-xp11-compatible/ As the 757v2 will include the XP11 feature update (such as PBR, particles, etc) free of charge, there is no reason for OP to not purchase this aircraft if he is interested in the 757. And OP, the 757 certainly does all the things mentioned by you. It is a *very* good airliner simulation.
  23. Not sure where you got this from but both the 757 and 767 have received XP11 compatibility updates already.
  24. I'm with you on that one. It forces me to take weather into consideration that I often ended up disabling before. Questions like "Is this still the most profitable option considering this or that weather situation" or similar. I'm quite enjoying it, but I can definitely see the need for an option to set manual weather. Maybe those looking for more moderate winds could request a wind setting to be part of the settings involved in the "easy" mode of it, i.e. limit wind to certain maximums, similar to Murmur's script. I think it might be worth suggesting to the xEnviro team.
