  1. Well Maddog any news? If Not and regarding DirectX and just to settle my Curiosity would you be willing to do a full Nvidia Driver Uninstall and then Reinstall your drivers again? Use something like Display Driver Uninstaller
  2. That would make sense alright. So you are defiantly running UT2 as administrator just like the image shows Yes ? Are you running Prepar3D as administrator ? Very Important Where have you got Prepar3D Installed ? Do you have full owner Rights and Permissions to this location ? This probably will not fix your problem but you need to eliminate this first Are you logged in as a Guest or as administrator? Full Rights and Permissions.............. Go to your Lockheed Martin Main folder "Core folder" Right Click on it, Click into Properties, Click into security, Click into Advanced You will see at the top Who is the owner ? It might say system It should say You administrator Click Change, Click advanced, Click Find now Navigate through the list and double click your "name\administrator" Click Ok, Tick the box Replace owner and subcontainers and objects. Click apply Its a process of elimination  Try that and come back to me

  4. Thank you Vic and Thank you for all the Tips you gave me Yes you can Donald, In saying that though the above method shouldn't take you any longer then 5 minutes.
  5. There is only thing that makes UT2 Launch when you start Prepar3D and that's your exe.xml file. Either your path= is wrong or you are missing something from the Flight One Folder in FSX I would double check your path again insuring the folder structure is exactly that same as it was before "No different or added folders" If that doesn't work, I would then i would Reinstall UT2 again, you can just Re-Run the Installer, No need to activate it. The Installer is saved in your C Drive After that make sure you have all these files and folders in your Flight One Folder, Running as administrator as well.
  6. Yes, Prepar3D 3.3.5.17625 is the latest Whole Version of Prepar3D, Everything is Included

  9. Updated 23 \ 01 \ 18 ---------------------------------------- Prepar3D v4 user's Please Note: The guys form the Return to Misty Moorings Team RTMM has identified four TFX AI Airplanes and one Rotorcraft AI that are not completely compatible with Prepar3D v4 now that Lockheed Martin has removed the SimObjects backwards compatibility for AI models constructed under the FS8 and FS9 SDKs After installing Tongass Fjords X into Prepar3D v4, in order to avoid random CTDs (Crash to Desktop) with Incompatible AI Simobjects you should immediately update these by following the Instructions in the link below Special Thanks to Rod Jackson (stiletto2), Dexter Thomas (Dexthom) and Gavin Cole from RTMM for putting this fantastic Guide together Click the link to download, Read the PDF file and follow the Instructions http://return.mistymoorings.com/getting_started/ziips/TFX SimObjects AI Update for P3Dv4 V1.1 8-7-17.zip ---------------------------------------- Introduction This is a super simple Tutorial with Big pictures to Install Tongass Fjords X for Prepar3D v3 & v4 =============== I have split this into 2 Parts. Part 1: To Install for Prepar3D, with only Prepar3D on your Computer. Part 2: To Install for Prepar3D, With Prepar3D and FSX Installed on your Computer, This is relevant because when you run the Tongass Installer it will Locate and Install certain files into FSX (More on this later) --------------------------- Tongass Fjords X is Developed by Holger Sandmann and Bill Womack. It really is a wonderful Scenery package, Covering a staggering 80,000 km in area and stuffed with goodies and destinations including, 7 listed Airfields, 6 unlisted Airfields, 28 listed Seaplane bases, 16 unlisted floatplane\boat docks, 31 US forest service cabins, 11 Helipads and 6 structures and areas of interest. Plenty of AI traffic as well, small and big boats, GA traffic, Helicopters all moving to there own little Time tables. Please read the very detailed Manual. ---------- INDEX ---------- Part 1: To Install for Prepar3D V3\V4, with only Prepar3D V3\V4 on your Computer (1) Running the Installer, (Extracting the folders) 3 different scenarios A: Pointing the Installer to your Prepar3D folder B: Installing to the Default Install Location Program Files (x86) ► Microsoft Games ► Microsoft Flight Simulator X C Have you previously had FSX Installed But have now Uninstalled It ?? (2) Adding the 40 Tongass Entries to your Terrain.cfg and Re-Numbering them. A: Copy and Pasting the 40 Tongass Entries B: Re-Numbering the Entries C Adjusting the Total DefaultTexturecount= (3) The elevation_adjustment files, Copy and Pasting to Prepar3D\Scenery\World\Scenery A: After and Before you add the elevation_adjustment files B: Copy and Pasting the elevation_adjustment files (4) Moving the Simobjects, effects, effects\textures and sounds to the relevant folders A: The Simobjects folders, Boats, Airplanes and Rotorcraft B: Effects and Effects\Textures C Sounds D Scenery \ World \ texture (5) Adding the Higher and Lower Scenery's to your Prepar3D Scenery Library A: Adding the Tongass Higher and Lower Scenery Libraries B: The correct Scenery order position (6) Prepar3D Settings. Traffic and Scenery Object settings (7) AI Timetables, Boats and Planes Big and Small, all moving to there own Routes Before you Run the Tongass Installer please do the following * Disable your UAC User Account Control from possibly disrupting the Install Process. Type UAC in your windows search bar. Click Never notify and Click Ok * Temporarily disable your Antivirus software and Firewall as the Tongass Installer may be seen as a False positive and disrupt the Install process ---------------------------------------------------------------- (1) Running the Installer, (Extracting the folders) 3 different scenarios Please Note: Each of these 3 different Scenarios will result in a Perfect extraction (All 5 folders) A: Pointing the Installer to your Prepar3D folder If you point the Installer to your Prepar3D folder, It will Install the FSAdon folder there, inside this folder you will have the Higher and Lower Scenery folders, (you will be adding these Scenery's at a later stage) The Installer will also Automatically create a folder in your C Drive and Install the remaining 4 folders there, Effects, Scenery, Simobjects and Sound, this exact location is........ Local Disk (C) ► Program Files (x86) ► Microsoft Games ► Microsoft Flight Simulator X If the Installer can Not see FSX it will Always create this folder in this location and Install the 4 folders listed above here. You can move these folders to a different location if you like. Please Note: Always Run the Installer as administrator. B: Installing to the Default Install Location Program Files (x86) ► Microsoft Games ► Microsoft Flight Simulator X This is the Default Install Location, as you can see from the Image if you choose to Install here it will Install all 5 folders here, Perfect! all your folders in one place, you can also move these folders to a different location if you like C Have you previously had FSX Installed But have now Uninstalled It ?? This is relevant because if you had FSX Installed previously But have now Uninstalled it you might still have the FSX keys in your Registry Editor, If this is the case when you Run the Tongass Installer and no matter where you point the Installer to, it will detect the FSX keys in your Registry Editor and Install the 4 folders to your OLD FSX Install Location. Again you can move these folders around to a place of your choosing Please Note: When the Install has completed you will most likely see this message, This message is Normal as you don't have FSX Installed. ============================= (2) Adding the 40 Tongass Entries to your Terrain.cfg and Re-Numbering them. The terrain.cfg file is located below Local Disk (C:) ► ProgramData ► Lockheed Martin ► Prepar3D - terrain.cfg To locate this file Tick the Box for Show Hidden Files, folders and drives in File Explorer Options, Click here for Image https://goo.gl/Cn95oZ Also, A quick way of locating this file is to Copy the TEX below and Paste it into your Windows Search bar and click on the result, this will bring you directly to the location %PROGRAMDATA%\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D For an Image of the terrain.cfg file click here https://goo.gl/VDiVmx A: Copying and Pasting the 40 Tongass terrain Entries. Please Note: I have Included the 40 Tongass Terrain Entries needed for this next bit at the end of Part 1: Please read this section first and i will show you exactly what to do with these Terrain Entries. You will know if you have completed this bit correctly by picking any of the Airports in the above map (first picture) Go outside your vehicle, Click 12 and scroll back (aerial photo) Before you add your Tongass Terrain Entries you will notice that most of the lakes and rivers is covered in green land. After you add the Entries you will now see a nice structure of lakes and rivers Go to the End of Part 1: 1 Highlight the complete 40 Tongass Entries just like the Image shows, Right Click and Click Copy. Your going to paste these to the Bottom of your Terrain.cfg. Go to Local Disk (C:) ►ProgramData ► Lockheed Martin ► Prepar3D - terrain.cfg 2 Paste the 40 Tongass Entries to the Bottom of your Terrain.cfg. 3 Click File at the Top left and Save it. B: Re-Numbering the Entries 1 Before you start, Note the number at the top of your terrain.cfg Defaultexturecount= My Number is 383, This number is to indicate the Total number of Textures in your terrain.cfg, My last Texture Entry is 382 but the Texture Numbers Start at 0 and 0 is included as a Plus +1, So 382 + 0 = 383 2 Scroll up or down and find the first Tongass Entry 1 of 40, Change the [TextureXX] to Your Total Number, My number is 383 so i will input 383, I will then move down and change each one of the [TextureXXX] adding a Plus 1 all the way down through all 40 of the Tongass Entries, 384, 385, 386 and so on and so forth C Adjusting the Total DefaultTexturecount= When you have completed your last Texture Entry adding Plus 1 all the way, Please Note Your last number, my number is 422, I will now have to adjust the DefaultTexturecount= at the top to correspond with the amount of Texture entries I have. Like i said the Texture Numbers start at 0 and 0 counts as a Plus + 1, My last number is 422 so my Total number will now read as DefaultTexturecount=423. Here is a short Video showing you how to add the 40 Tongass entries into your terrain.cfg file. Note: The first minute of the video I explain to you how the [Texture] numbers are finally counted at the Top of the terrain.cfg file (DefaultTextureCount) Then I show you how to add the 40 Tongass entries and configure the final Texture number (DefautlTextureCount) ===================================== (3) The elevation_adjustment files, Copy and Pasting to Prepar3D\Scenery\World\Scenery A: After and Before you add the elevation_adjustment files 1 After you add your elevation_adjustment files you will have a nice perfect looking Scenery. 2 Before you add the files, sure its a bit mad looking alright B: Copy and Pasting the elevation_adjustment files Your elevation_adjustment files are going to be located here Program Files (x86) ► Microsoft Games ► Microsoft Flight Simulator X 1 Go to this location and click into Scenery ► World ► Scenery. 2 Highlight the 8 elevation files, Right Click and Copy. 3 Go to Prepar3D ► Scenery ► World ► Scenery Right Click and Paste these files to this location ================================== (4) Moving the Simobjects, effects, effects\textures and sounds to the relevant folders A: The Simobjects folders, Boats, Airplanes and Rotorcraft Next we are going to move all the Simobjects "Vehicles" into the relevant folders. 1 Go to Program Files (x86) ► Microsoft Games ► Microsoft Flight Simulator X Click in Simobjects, 2 Pick a folder either Airplanes, Boats or Rotorcraft, Highlight the folders, Right Click and Copy. 3 Go to Prepar3D ►Simobjects Right Click and Paste the Vehicles into the relevant folders, Repeat this until you have Pasted 3 sets of folders across to Prepar3D ►Simobjects B: Effects and Effects\Textures Go to your Microsoft Flight Simulator X in the same location, Highlight the effects Copy them and Paste them into Prepar3D ► Effects. The exact same for Effects\Textures Copy and Paste them into Prepar3D ► Effects\Texture C Sounds Same process as above. Copy the Sound files from Microsoft Flight Simulator X Copy them to Prepar3D ► Sounds D Scenery \ World \ texture Last one, Copy the Scenery \ World \ texture files from Microsoft Flight Simulator X. Paste to Prepar3D ► Scenery ► World ► Texture ================================= (5) Adding the Higher and Lower Scenery's to your Prepar3D Scenery Library A: Adding the Tongass Higher and Lower Scenery Libraries B: The correct Scenery order position A: I will now add the Tongass Scenery library's to Prepar3D. Please Note, You need to add the Tongass_Fjords_Lower_Priority First, then add the Higher Priority. Follow the Numbers in the Image, 1,2,3,4, Click add area, Click Browse, Navigate through your Hard Drive and locate your FSAdon folder, add the Tongass_Lower first then the Tongass_Higher second. B: 5 Move the 2 Tongass Scenery's down, The correct Scenery order position is Below all 3rd Party Airports, Ftx Orbx Airports and Regions. Above Orbx Open LC, Orbx Vector and Global base Here is a short Video showing showing you how to add the Tongass Fjords scenery to your Prepar3D Scenery library =============================================== (6) Prepar3D Settings. Traffic and Scenery Object settings 1 You Need to set your Traffic to at least 20% to see AI traffic, Including Boats !!. 2 You can experiment with the Scenery Objects settings, Find a nice balance of visuals and smoothness for your system. ====================================== (7) AI Timetables, Boats and Planes Big and Small, all moving to there own little Routes (OPTIONAL) There are several AI Vehicles that populate the waters and land of Tongass_Fjords, They Include DHC Beaver and DHC Otter floatplanes, GA planes, Helicopters, Dash 7 freighter, Cruise Ships and the Anacapa. You can check out there timetables for the Routes by Downloading and running AI Flight Planner "AIFP3" Its very simple just follow the Image below. I took the Dash 7 as an example, I can now see the Timetable for the Dash 7 and go Plane spotting. ============================= Below is the 40 Tongass Entries. // Tongass Fjords FSX custom textures The End of Part 1, To Install for Prepar3D only ================================================================================================= ================================================================================================= Part 2: To Install for Prepar3D, With Prepar3D and FSX Installed on your Computer. If you have FSX Installed as well as Prepar3D, The Tongass Installer will want to Install to FSX, Change this to a Different Location. 16. What did you Try\Do? Have you tried this ? If that didn't work, Did you try this?
  17. It will never work properly in Prepar3D, It doesn't matter if you Install it Manually or the EMT you will always run the risk of crashing\stutter or errors.
  18. Hello Greg. No, You can Delete the contents OR the Complete Shaders folder ever day if you like and Prepar3D will Re-Build a new one when it starts, This will not effect Rex or Orbx, It will give you a slightly longer loading times when you start Prepar3D first Rex Texture Modifies Default files in your Prepar3D Core folder's, Textures, Effects\Textures, Scenery\World\Texture, Scenery\Global\Texture, Sound. So, you can Delete your Shaders folder to your heart content  But, its only recommended really when............

  23. Thanks for posting Jose. This hits Ultimate Traffic 2 on a regular basis, You will see the following Error\Message below "Please register this product before you try and use it" It see's the utii.dll file as a False Positive so it quarantines it (removes it to a safe and secure place within in your Anti virus set up) By going to your Quarantine area of your Anti virus Software and Restore it, Then you should be back in business I was able to recreate this message by moving this file out of the folder, I moved it back into the folder and the message went away The file in question is located here Your Prepar3D location ► Prepar3D V3 ► Flight One Software ► Ultimate Traffic 2 After you restore it, Confirm the file has been returned
  24. Good stuff Jack, Glad you got sorted  Yes very good Vic, I missed that, Thank you for chimming in *Correction*
