  1. People would agree that LM team have to get something really impressive to sell their version 5 (I doubt they would care for the type of business they are in and purpose of the sim mainly are the client training..). In all sense, they extracted far more juice from MS's legacy through 4 versions in their product which could have been only 2 iterations at the most - first 32 bit adaption + and second 64 bit + one. Healthy competition always better. Interesting times again. Wondering about MSFS-2020 compatibility etc and how much $ needed to be spent more on sim + add-ons... Waiting for some devs to speak up. Even if it delivers half of the visuals shown there, it definitely is game ON.. sorry Sim on... Regards
  2. Yes, its always been Tuesdays isnot it ? So 26th is likely candidate if its June. Regards Prayog
  3. One downside is, AITTP seems to be changing speed for all AI vehicles, so the other vehicles are racing across the airport now. Very rash driving :p This is the reason I was asking if there are specific types where we increase taxi and roll-out speeds for AI planes. Regards Prayog
  4. AITTP 1.3 works fantastically well, Thanks for the help. Situation looks far better than it was. Regards Prayog
  5. The files in avsim library probably caters the requirement for P3D 4.1 I had tried it before posting this thread and P3D 4.2 CTDs at start which means it is not working for 4.2 Besides I see the file was touched by LM in 4.2 release as there is size difference in 4.1 and 4.2 file. Further, some other material on LM forum suggest that there might be 4 different taxi speed such as push back, normal taxing, turning, roll-out etc. If all these are found, those can be assigned precise values for best results. Thanks to all for help. Regards Prayog
  6. Hello gurus, looking for P3D V4.2 ai_player.dll taxi speed offset. AI is rolling out sluggishly. Every single time I have to go-around as AI slowly moves to next "exit" :( If anybody knows, please enlighten me. Thanks. Regards Prayog
  7. 😄 Sure, they have to run the department there.. Just thinking it from features point of view. Considering all the add-ons available around, what is that LM would bring in in 5.0 (that they cannot/wouldnot in 4.x), definitely nothing that hurt any of add-on manufacturers.. Regards
  8. May be a dumb question, why do LM need to release v 5.0 ? What are good reasons ? Regards
  9. I am not FSX -SE user anymore nor sure whether UT2 installation in first place should do this or not (I am not UT2 user either) but try renaming worldtraffic.bgl file in scenery-->world-->Scenery to worldtraffic.bgl.OFF or something. This should switch off default traffic. Regards Prayog
  10. I also do not have any LNAV issues nor CTDs honestly. After last update LNAV was far better. Regarding the straight line flying which might be related to LNAV fixes done, winds do play a lot of part. Significant lateral winds would definitely result in LNAV line not remaining straight. Regards Prayog
  11. Why? Its bug. You might have been on wet runway when you took off. This can be eliminated by renaming a fx file, I forgot the name sorry but you can google that. The effect is anyway not so great looking on the wet runway, so better to get rid of it. Regards
  12. Its understood that some products are simply fantastic in flight simulation. But at times fans get carried away and take it to different level.... Regards
  13. I will suggest you to simply first reinstall fsuipc and check. If above doesnot work, search on google and you will find another avsim thread by Elaine to step by step solve this. Regards Prayog
  14. Wow! I have a problem with dropbox. Is it possible to upload 0.95 on avsim or somewhere else please? (Sorry for trouble.) If you have purposely discontinued it, in light of version 1.0 then OK, please do not get bothered with my request. Regards Prayog
  15. Thank you Simmerhead. Understood. Can somebody confirm if the link on first post is still working ? I am not able to download, might be issue with my firewall or av. Regards Prayog
  16. Folks, apologies for my ignorance. 1. Can somebody please put few lines on what is difference between PTA and URP ? 2. What exactly each of these responsible for (in terms of effects they produce) ? 3. Do we need URP if we have latest version of PTA ? (My understanding is PTA is main tweaker tool and URP is like some kind of plug-in to it ?) The URP 0.95 link is broken on the first page. Is it possible to pin the corrected link at the top. Regards Prayog
  17. Hello Swiss2259, Thanks for the response. You are right. I actually have 10 and 28 not 8C or 26 at the airport. However ATC always refer me to 8C to land. Sorry that I did not mention that 10 and 28 is very much present as the intersecting runway. Makes me wonder from where is ATC getting this 8C. Regards Prayog
  18. Hi everybody. Zurich airport has 16/34 and 14/32 as its main long runways and a shorter 8C/26 as a cross runway that intersects. As I near the airport, the default ATC always (and without fail) do assign me 8C/26 which probably is not even used and/or not convenient for big planes to land. Now what I did, I opened up relevant bgl in ADE and merely updated this runway 8C/26 to not allow takeoff and landing. I did not forget to compile scenery. No luck, next time I was given another warm welcome on the same runway. (I obviously get it changed every time and that's not the concern.) Anybody who has an idea of what else need to be done here (I am missing something for sure), please do suggest. Objective is, I want the ATC to not even consider 8C/26 for any approach. Regards Prayog
  19. I have set this up and is working perfectly. Hope you have all 3 files placed at their correct location. simconnect.xml simconnect.cfg simconnect.ini Note that there should not be any typo esp. lower and uppercase while typing network type etc. Hope you have also installed relevant legacy simconnect on client. Additionally you need to install ASconnect.exe on server. This is located in HiFi folder. For the first time, it would also ask you to show the roaming path of server machine which it would remember subsequently. Regards Prayog
  20. I have been there Greg. What I then do is make one folder with all set-up files (including add-ons) and specific config files (like gsx profiles, simconnects etc). I just then fire all set-ups in order. It looks like below for me - 01 P3D Setup 02 FSUIPC 03 ORBX 04 REX . . . . so on. Ohh yes, it do add some peace to mind that I am truely on the latest version. Regards Prayog
  21. Good to hear on your case. Mine was more like a suggestion which was ACKed. However my question (yes/no type, and if yes then details) after that was not answered therefore I believe that the answer must be "No". If somebody knows any of CS staff, please convey the message that we love their products. Please actively be there with us. Regards Prayog
  22. Another thing I observe with CS is, in spite of having such a strong line of products, they have hardly any active participation on communities be it avsim or even their own forum. You will not find their actual developer or staff directly coming and answering anything. (Tanya used to be there, but did not see any response for long time now.) I think they need to be little more social in this regard. Their products are good and reasonably priced. (I once raised a ticket to them instead of putting it to their forum, I did receive an acknowledgement however it did not last much and no further information to my question was given. It wasn't any showstopper though.) Regards Prayog
  23. Hi Yang, I know many people are going to jump on me for this, but let me go for it. Even the comparison between PMDG 777 and that of CS do boil their blood. (And I am not saying it should not !) Coming to CS777, I am using it with their latest 1.71 release and I find it very good plane to learn basics of 777s. All the basic of FBW do indeed work as expected. Overall I do like it. (People do complain about high climb rates etc but personally I think it is all about how realistically one set-up the weights and other things.) Having said so, PMDG would provide you great quality textures and comprehensiveness of everything working within cockpit. (which is again heavy on system) I think you can definitely start with CS and can always switch when you think you are ready. Regards Prayog
  24. Yes, looks like users will need to have all 3 ultimately - AS16 : As a weather engine REX: For Textures (At least Soft Clouds) ASCA: Dynamic changes to the textures Regards Prayog
