I can vouch for the "hiccups" in the Comanche and even I noticed them in the Legacy. The adequate description of "hitting a bump in the road" would be applicable. I don't use Navigraph and not sure what triggers this phenomenon. Hoping to learn what the source is soon. Very distracting. Like mentioned earlier, it's only the A2A AC.

FYI: Just finished D/L first time... 4 minutes 2.0 gb. A2A has a handle on the issues. Great job Scott and company.

I haven't updated Windows for over a month. This is just plain weird.

After another seven hours of fiddling I found few items of interest: I can disable the WT version and load and run the AH version of the 707 without issue. I actually got my 707 fix for about an hour this way. disable AH and enable WT version and return to same scenario.. "configure AC" and WT selected, MSFS 2024 hangs. Task manager says the module is in "efficiency mode". I only notice that after the sim has halted or is not responding. It does not normally run in efficiency mode. I right click and can not take it out. Only way out is to "End task". Also I think Adamski mentioned possible conflict with FSS. I do have FSS 727, but I not only renamed it, but moved it to the recycle bin without any positive effect on the WT 707 loading. Just discovered, by accident, the WT 707 will load under India livery and GNS config. Change anything else and no joy. Also once the ac loads in and Ready to Fly, I had to "restart" to get several of the functions to work. At least I have a limited ac to use. Reselect different config and sim hangs or CTD. Here's hoping the community can shed some insight on this weird anomaly. TIA of any ideas. Terry

Glad I'm not the only one. Out of a dozen attempts I've managed to only make three flights. The other times MSFS crashes out at different times: sometimes at the selection, other times when the map loads up. I haven't been able to make rhyme or reason out of it. I've tried both the streamed and downloaded version and totally empty CF. I have NO issues with any other AC. I've tried rebooting computer after the crash, clearing cache. Nothing seems to work. The two times it did load it was a default livery. I went to change livery and MSFS crashed. It doesn't matter if it's the first AC I select or subsequent one, the sound stutters and the white circular thingy stops. Many times it hangs and I have to use task manager to restart. There's been little mention and I'm glad I'm not the only case as my installation of MSFS 2024 has been rock solid up until this AC. Adam, you mentioned FSS AC, I hadn't heard that, do you have any further details or where to find this info? Even ChatGPT doesn't help. Hopefully a solution can be found. Thank you for posting ..

Works fine. There have been a couple updates the past few months to take care of little niggles. FM, sounds, AP all seem fine just like 2020. They had some issue with WASM that one had to work around, but that's all fixed now. DC-6 is a great plane.

I, like others, was curious to see the latest FBW rendition of the A380 for MSFS 2024. I just downloaded it and spent about an hour with it. First my rig is only medium high with a 10-series Intel and a 4080 FE. I had absolutely no issues with skips, jumps, pauses or stutters or any anomalies. The only glitches in the visual presentation was the PG around Sacramento with melting trees and buildings. I cap the frame rate at 60 and I never saw anything lower than 45 and that was at a big international apt. I'm not an Airbus aficionado so I won't speak to system specifics. What I will say, FBW has done an outstanding job with what's available now. One gets a sense of size not only in the air handling but when perusing through the cabin. The cabin may not be finished, but what is there is more than one would expect for ac at this stage. The furnishings are nicely done and well appointed. I didn't try ALL systems, just the typical ones to render this flyable: Engines, flight controls, Comm/Nav, fuel, etc to give it a quick shake down flight. All worked as expected and I hand flew this for thirty minutes until localizer captured. Obviously it doesn't have every sound, quirk and niggle that a $80.00 product would. But I feel this offers a tremendous introduction into "heavy" aircraft handling. I can totally appreciate the commitment and dedication this team has for providing the community an opportunity to experience the A380. For this I feel indebted and thankful.. So looking forward with further updates. Blue skies to all.

Just noticed, 2.4.5 is the version I'm using. Beam Eyetracker notified me of a beta ver. 2.5.2 that eliminates the need for OpenTrack. I haven't tried it yet, but it sounds promising.

Chris, just a suggestion. Perhaps you've already tried, if so, I apologize. In BET, you can select to follow either Head, eyes, or both. There is also menu to filter these movements out with out resorting to the very sensitive curves in OpenTrack. Also in OT you can select which channels to monitor. When adjusting the "X", "Y" "Z" channels, it's recommended to do them individually with the other channels disabled. Once each channel is set up, then re-enable the other two. Personally it worked fine for me in Win 10, but Win 11 blocked OT interacting with ATS. BET moves fine, and OT responds, but states "No Video" and the game does not respond. l Haven't gone back to it. I've changed the settings in Win Defender to allow OT in interface. BET works in itself, but when I use it with MSFS 2020, I get CTD. I stopped using it.🤒 Good luck with your case..

Would love this plane in any venue other than MP. I would like the option to put armament on it and modify *.cfg. Hope they make it available elsewhere, JF, Orbx,even SimMarket.

I purchased a single T-6 from the Reno Expansion in the MP. After reviewing/downloading several liveries, it seems that I'm unable to change the livery of this particular T-6 (Six Cat) unless I purchase the entire expansion package. Could someone confirm or offer a workaround such that I might be able to use another livery for this AC? I've downloaded several, but they don't show up in the livery menu. Thank you in advance..

Jarnie, I whole heartily support Addon Linker. This is, IMO, one of the most powerful addons available for MSFS, and most useful. You can configure flights to any option you want. For Instance. You can create Military AC in Asia, Commercial AC in South America, bush flying in North America, GA flights in Australia. You can create "presets" that once configured to your particular flight, you can select which AC, liveries, scenery, scenery libraries and any specific utilities that you might use. Once the Presets are built and named, then later, at any time, you can just click on the descriptive "Preset" and Addon Linker will auto load your configuration. No more spending fifteen minutes selecting, sceneries, AC and specific scenery libraries you might need. Once created, one click on the preset of choice and only those items are loaded into the community folder. This makes for quicker loads and by customizing the storage location of these folders,( which I store most on slower drives), only the small link is stored in the community folder on your active M.2 SSD, you trim your active drive and hasten the sim load. This is absolutely the most essential addon available. It might take awhile getting comfortable, but definitely worth it. YT is your friend.

Anyone try this out? Would be great if this beastie was a worthy replica. Initial ratings are low in MP, but not many responding yet. On another site; one remarked that the sound set was pretty good. Also, is this available anywhere else?
