Update on the Scenery Gateway System
Muds replied to MarcG's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
and you are completely right. It's been already showed on QA stream, it'll be a good tool to correct the mess on default airports: missing taxi signage, runways updt, objects glitch sitting in the middle of taxis etc etc using all MSFS generic library but you won't be able to add custom assets etc etc .... -
Aircraft & Avionics Update 02 (1.33.8.0) Now Available
Muds replied to Zangoose's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
i think the most straight forward way would be to join their discord and tag the list in each of the 74 and 78 channels -
Yep! and it even starts to be insulting toward ppl that actually fly these kind of jobs .... that for most are more challenging and demanding than flying a 737... some ppl here need to realize that aviation is not only tubeflying .... i don't get why having a more realistic and visually appealing way of doing firefighting, lifting, dive dropping is going for the gamerzzz .... so i guess ppl that bought the HPG 145 + action pack are surely all gamers not interested by aviation ....

Yea it starts to be a bit annoying, well to an extend even xplane won't do better IFR ...., it's still a consumer flightsim, i mean u even have better default avionics now with the G serie. If u want to fly certifying stuff, well go for a certified sim in a school. I don't get why the proclaimed simmers here think that what we see in the trailer is for kidz gamerz on xbox. Aviation is not tube flying only, i'm actually excited for what i see, and to me could be more realistic operations than what we have now ....it's funny how these people think that "hardcore" simming is filling a simbrief, clicking one button on their EFB to load the plane(or crying a river when it's missing) then clicking the uplink on the fmc and starting the plane ... Let's remember that these jobs (firefighter, heli towing ....) are way more challenging jobs then flying airlines. Also it's literally based on MSFS i don't see why there would be regressions ... at worst it will be what we have now + the new stuff.

Leonardo Maddog MD83/88 Expansion Coming Tomorrow
Muds replied to regis9's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
at 90 for FS2020 market, paying for an extension is a bit much for me ... i understand that it's work and need to be paid, but with also some aspects of the product lacking like textures and sounds, even tho i don't really care about sounds as i'm not a cabin/exterior views enjoyer, and even with lowres textures, the cockpit ambience is still super nice, i can understand ppl looking for it. With the 88 being the official version to come with "efis cockpit" it would be nice to have an option on the 82 for the analogue panel then. -
you can do it, using the "LNAV" minimums, basically you use LNAV + VS. Somewhat like CRJ or A310 if you fly those. technically you should be able to use VNAV by setting ALT to minimum DA and fly the v-path, but results might be all over the place, esp if you keep you're not fully configured at the iaf it's not certified for AR tho, so no 0.3 legs

well i don't think op is talking about default aircrafts, improved with AAU, but more about general FM improvment. i wish, but i don't think AAU will ever improve the general FM core. I agree, there are good posts on the forum about some things that feels wrong like this one: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/all-that-is-wrong-with-the-msfs-flight-model-inertia-stalling-pitch-authority-trim-sensitivity/379936 to be honest it drives me nut seeing on the dev wishlist/buglist some bling-bling stuff, but things like ground physics + FM refinements that are core to a flightsim....going MIA ....

Powerful computer - Progressive stuttering and lag
Muds replied to markgrinyer's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
eh that could be your answer, i had a friend doing the same thing with linker on HDD, i told him to try everything on SSD, it was night and day for him, never had to bother with settings and such all the time. It also makes some sense, if every time FS need to access something on the HDD it's going to be super slow -
600 was the cheapest, i'm not a big 737 fan so the cheaper the better, i don't care about real life routes so ...

Fly The Maddog update 1.1b123 released.
Muds replied to Wise87's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
it's a little client runing along the sim to bypass fs limitations, like importing simbriefs profiles directly, acars and more.... -

hello guys, is there a way to prevent the md client to always start with FS? id'like to start it only when i'm planing to fly the MD. thx -
ATWIT is your final approach fix it's only like 10nm from Rwy24 threshold, but btw DENUT and ATWIT you are missing an entire STAR, so you are coming at almost 180° from your next leg and final landing course : DENUT -> ATWIT is 040ish then you turn left almost 180 degrees to ATWIT -> RWY24 on a 240 heading, that's why it can't be displayed correctly.
