I am having trouble installing new aircraft to my Microsoft Flight X. The problem is I don't no where I'm supposed to unzip the files and what to do once they are unzipped. Whatever I do it is wrong because when I start the simulation I never see the new aircraft I have tried to install. This also happens when trying to install AI aircraft too. Can anyone help please or point me in the right direction. Philip

Hi there. I've installed FS2 Crew LDS 767 and the update and even though It confirms the installation is successful I do not get any messages when starting up FSX (gauge etc(and this is after trying all of the below)). When in a flight after selecting the FS2 Crew panel in the LD menu, clicking the vertical speed indicator doesn't bring up the FS2 Crew menu. The only way i can do it is if I select it through the views menu and even then all the panels appear black. I have tried: deleting the FSX.CFG file, reinstalling visual C++ 2008 redistribute package reinstalling FS2crew several times using registry fix I have also tried following the manual to no avail. I also tried a few other ways which I can't remember. I have been through pages of forums with the same issue but the solution for them hasn't worked for me. FS2 Crew doesn't show up in the start center, It's as if the whole system doesn't detect it being installed. I hope this is all the info you need. Please help ASAP as I'm dying to get started. I have downloaded USS_Nimitz_Ike_version2.zipThis is what was in the zip fileEffects, Simobjects and Sound folders17 jpg picturescvn_68_69.cfgfile_id.dizReadme.txtThere was no installation file, no AICarriers Installation folder and I don't know where the conf.d folder is to put the cvn_68_69.cfg file into.Also I am assuming that I would put the individual files inside the Effects, Simobjects and Sound folders into the Effects, Simobjects and Sound folders already existing in the FSX main folder.Thanks for your help. I want to get this running because I bought Flight Deck 6 and can't get it to work and get get in touch with their support so I am going to try AICarriers.Thanks
