Hi--anyone try a 5k monitor? The resolution is 5120 x 2880 which is close to what I get now using six 1080p monitors. I already own 2 second generation Titans with 6GB each, which could be used in SLI, with 2 display port outputs total, which I think is required for 5k monitors. I am intrigued by the 5k because currently I use 6 monitors (3 over 3) which results in 5760 x 2180 display--however, matching color precisely is constantly difficult and there are bezel issues with six screens. Thanks for any input--it's appreciated!!

Hi, I have decided to upgrade my flight simulation rig by making my own simple cockpit. I have everything else thought out but I have never done anything with multi-monitors on computers. I'd like to have 4 monitors for outside viewing, setup B737 style. The 5th monitor I would have as the 2D panel view for instruments. A full list of what I'd like to run: 4 outside viewing monitors/TVs 1 smaller monitor for instrument panel Saitek Yoke, Saitek rudder pedals, and Saitek throttle quadrant (1x) Saitek switch, multi, and radio panels Microsoft Flight Simulator X (FSX) I'd be building a custom frame to mount this all in. Here are my PC specs: Windows 7 Home Basic 64 Bit 8 GB RAM/Memory AMD FX 8350 Eight-Core Processor, 4.00 GHz AMD Radeon R9 270X 2GB Two 1TB hard drives (one is C:\) Let me know if I forgot something on system specs. I want to know if this PC/graphics card can run what I requested with the monitors. If so, I need to know how to set it up, because I've never done multi-monitoring before. I wanted to check if this would work and how to do it before I jumped in and bought the monitors and started the build. Thank you!

Does FS202 support ultra wide screen monitors such as the Asus X35 or equivalent?

I have 24” monitor, and the overhead panel only fills half of the screen thereby making some of the displays not correct e.g pressure and voltage displays?, what is everyone using to remedy this or is it designed this way, it’s a bit strange as I would guess most of us our using widescreen 1920x1080 monitors no? thanks in advance, steve

Hi I like showing both the inbound and outbound displays. I am thinking buying a 9 or 10 inch monitor that will showing both. I will go for the format 16:9 but is the format to bigg in 9 or 10 inch showing the displays? I am planning having these displays / the display in a panel maybe 50 - 100 cm in front of me. Best Fredrik

Dear All, I'm upgrading the visual of my flight sim. I'm using P3Dv4.5. I have a home 737 cockpit running prosim737 hence I don't use a virtual cockpit. My graphics computer use a i7 5930K OC at 4.5Ghz, 32Gigs of RAM and an Nvidia 1080ti graphic card. I'd like to upgrade to a 3 x TV screen setup (most probably using P3D view group to minimise distortion). I will be running 1080p resolution on each TV ( most TVs nowadays are 4K native but I assume it's not a problem to downsize res). I'd love to get your recommendation for what TV and any hint on how to best configure my P3D view group Kind Regards Karim

Hello everyone, I have recently gotten IGPU multi monitor to work, so I have three screens running off my Nvidia GTX 750. I have two other screens running off of the integrated graphics. All the displays work in harmony, with me able to drag screens like chrome from the gpu screens to the integrated screens without a problem. When I try to do the same to fsx however, try to undock a panel and move it to the integrated screens both in windowed and full screen mode, the sim has a fatal error and crashes. How do if fix this? Thanks in advance, 1251452

After years of thinking it would be a hassle to add a second monitor, the IT person at the university I teach at showed me how to do it with Win7 and it was a breeze. Now I'm curious to know how some of you who are experienced at using a second monitor use it? I've already used it for several different things and really like it. But rather than reinvent the wheel, maybe some of my fellow addicts could share your experience. I run FS in full screen mode and that seems to impose some limitations so any tips on that issue would also be appreciated.ThanksIanps. This is one of those "I really miss Opa" moments as I know he would have had something helpful and encouraging to say.

Hi-I run P3dV3 off two Nvidia video cards each driving 3 screens. I stretch one window over all six screens and it works fine. I can't get that to work in DTG flight school. Tried all the DTG monitor settings, but nothing seems to work, as the single window, when stretched, either goes totally blank or snaps back onto a single card. Any ideas? Thanks.
