Hi all, Just a heads-up: not sure if any of you are aware of this, but there are some significant changes being implemented into SIDS, STARS, RNAV and other procedures commencing this March and April affecting all Southern California major airports (and also smaller municipal airports). The link below provides all the info: http://www.metroplexenvironmental.com/socal_metroplex/socal_introduction.html I expect that Navigraph will reflect these changes in due course. Regards, Steve

Hello, I was wondering if systems emergencies are modeled on PMDG 737NG (electrical, hydraulic, pressurization etc.). It would be nice to know before I buy.

Hi, I am wondering if anyone out there knows the SOP's in Australia (or anywhere else if its an ICAO regulation) for when Auto Pilot is Disengaged in australia on Landing with ILS? Given that most australian Airports are CAT I a few are CAT II and one is CAT III i would like to know when the AP is Disengaged at all, is it; Upon Flare? At DH? Is the Full landing conducted manually? How does this change with the visibility of the airfield? I did discover yesterday that in good visibility the preference is to conduct a CAT I and categories only increase with visiblity, where as ive allways been flying CAT IIIb or IIIc thus far ive looked at regualtions and some VA SOP's and none really answer this question Thanks Heaps!

Fellow 777 pilots, I've recently started flying longer routes since the release of the 300ER. However, I am somewhat perplexed when it comes to the operation of the center fuel tank. On some routes, there is barely any in the center tank. Maybe 4000 kilograms. In this situation, using the center pumps on the ground produces a "Fuel Low Center" EICAS warning. However, if I leave them off, a "Fuel In Center" EICAS warning is displayed once I am established in my climb. Does anyone have any information on how to properly operate the center fuel tank when in this situation? I know the 737 center tanks are meant to be switched on after 10,000 feet if there is less than 5,000 pounds or something like that. Does the 777 operate using similar rules? Thanks

I have created the normal procedures checklist for FS2Crew's Airbus A320. It has the standard format of a real life checklist and even the airline logo. Please contact me if you want me to add another airline. Below is the URL with all the airlines I have created until now. If you wish, download the Microsoft Publisher file and add a logo of your own but please give me credits. Click here to download A320 Checklist

HI, I use Littlenav Map to make flight plans from scratch. 100% IFR flights because I fly on DeltaVA ACARS. I often first pick the departure and destination airports, pick their departure procedure and arrival procedures, calculate a route using jet airways, export to FSX-SE and save the LNMP file. I find it annoying when I need to look at the arrival I picked again including the runway to enter into the FMS in the simulator I find the list of arrival procedures just disappears. I have to go back through it all and figure out what I picked again to make sure the FMS and Littlenav Map flight plan are the same. My question is how do I keep the list of arrivals from disappearing after minimizing and maximizing the Littlenav Map window? Doyle
