  2. Hello @ll, Fire Fighter X version 1.83 has been released today. Please allow for up to 48 hours until it is deployed to your account in the shop where you bought it (SimMarket has already confirmed the update). Uninstalling the old version is not necessary, but it doesn't hurt either. Starting with this version, FFX will no longer just drop retardant when you press the trigger! You have to arm the drop system first! To do that, just click on the green LED on the top left of the drop control dialog, or use the appropriate button on the gauges. The same is true when you want to scoop water with a skimmer aircraft or helicopter bucket. You have to arm the scooping system first (green LED on the right or buttons on the gauges) Please refer to the FFX user manuals for details!! Other than that, FFX now gives you more control over AI aircraft from inside the simulator itself (menus are accessible with Shift&F9, Shift&F10). Furthermore you can trigger siren signals with Shift&F11 (drop imminent) or Shift&F12 (drop complete). Siren signals are propagated over the network too. At the end of the users manual you will find a table listing all the simulator variables and events that FFX uses, in case you want to assign Joystick buttons or create your own gauges. Best regards
  3. I'm pleased to announce the v2.3.5 is now live in your "Check Updates..." Thank you all for your assistance with the release candidate! New: Added "Auto-Save Active Route (.PLN)" for FltSim ATC Flight Following. New: Added "Power Knob Switch" setting. New: Added wind vector to map page (requires Shadin ADC enabled). Enhanced: Using legacy mouse cursors graphics with "Use Legacy Mouse Knobs". Enhanced: Assistant offers "NOBEZEL" option when replacing VC gauges. Enhanced: Further performance and stability enhancement. Fixed: Magvar error in published variables. PS: should you've installed the RC, check updates will not report the new version. You'd need to download the e-commerce installer from our website instead.
  4. Hello @ll, Version 1.22 of the AddonOrganizer brings back a few functions, that were lost in a harddisk crash a few weeks back - Selected node is kept in view when changing scenery order - List of addon-xml configs is sorted alphabetically - Duplicate entries in the addon-xml list removed when transferring scenery between cfg and xml Best regards
  5. Hello @ll, due to many requests and questions about the workings of ORBXs FTX Central combined with add-on.xml files, a new feature has been added to the P4AO. You can now move multiple scenery entries to an add-on.xml file or back to the scenery.cfg by using the "Multi-Select" option and the right-click context menu. Additionally a new button has been implemented that will "Remove duplicates", meaning that it will remove all entries from the scenery.cfg that are also present as an add-on.xml definition. With these two features combined you can move all ORBX scenery.cfg entries to an add-on.xml file in one go. When you use FTX Central the next time, it will reinstate the entries in the scenery.cfg - now all you have to do is to start the P4AO again and press "Remove duplicates" - this will reduce the scenery.cfg once again to only contain those ORBX entries that are not already present in the add-on.xml. Hope this helps... Best regards

  7. Hello @ll, the P4AO 1.19 has been released. This fixes an issue where add-on.xml files on different drives where not be included properly in the backup ZIP. Best regards
  8. There is a new version available. It is already loaded onto Fastspring and the Flight Sim Store. The release consists of a collection of customer requests that I have received over the past few months. Aerosoft Zurich V2“Fix” This has been revised as the fix caused some issues at other airport s- e.g Aerosoft Frankfurt V2 and some Taxi2gate sceneries as well. Legacy Airport Polys Whilst investigating the above issue I added a new legacy option which I think improves ground lighting at many sceneries - try it out and report back. Aerosoft Frankfurt V2 Parking Signs Improvements to the handling of these to improve compatibility with other sceneries. PMDG Option and Legacy HD Shadows The combination of this setting and HD shadows could cause issues with VC shadows in legacy aircraft. This is now fixed. No dll.xml When installing cloud shadows an issue could arise if no other addon had yet installed a dll - i.e there was no logic to handle this. This issue is now fixed.

  14. Captains, 6 March 2017: RAAS updated to V2.6.14.3! How to Install: Please visit the RAAS Downloads Page on the FS2Crew website for information. 1. If you're not sure if you have the latest version, just run the "Update Checker" in RAAS. 2. You can install this version of RAAS over the old version without uninstalling first. 3. If updating, you do NOT need to run MakeRunways again (but it's good practice to run it anyway to ensure your runways database is current!) 4. If you're doing a brand new install in FSX: Steam, then you will need run MakeRunways inside of the FSX: Steam folder. CHANGE LOG: VERSION 2.6.14.3 1-Fixes issue associated with saving the Master Volume slider. VERSION 2.6.10.2 1-Locked version support for the Aerosoft CRJ and PMDG 747 V2. VERSION 2.4.0.7 1-New feature added. The RAAS Master Switch can now be controlled via a keypress or joystick button connected to the WATER RUDDER (UP/DOWN) command. This feature was based on requests from home cockpit users who wanted to be able to control the RAAS Master switch via their hardware rather than the main RAAS menu. For this function to work, there is a new option on the RAAS menu. ENABLE KEY EVENT API must be ticked. VERSION 2.3.1.7 1- Fixes issue with the FSX Steam version of RAAS not being able to connect to the Flight Simulator under certain circumstances. VERSION 2.0.3.5 1- Fixes crash when attempting to host a multiplayer session in Steam FSX. 2- Installer updated to correct an issue that resulted in the installer not being able to detect the location of Steam FSX if the "stand-alone" Steam FSX option was selected. VERSION 2.0.2.3 1- Fixes potential issue associated with the Steam version of FSX and Simconnect. VERSION 1.6.5.2 1- Adds FSX: Steam support. VERSION 1.6.0.2 1- Fixes P3D 2.4 crash 2- Adds new option to route RAAS audio to any audio device on your system (this is great for Home Cockpit builders). VERSION 1.3.2.60 1- Installer supports P3D Version 2+ 2- Unlocked version supports the new Aerosoft Airbus X Models (A318 and A319) 3- New option to disable the automatic internet version check. (In some rare cases, we believe this update check may have been a factor in causing RAAS not to load under select circumstances, especially with PMDG 777 users.) VERSION 1.2.1.36. 1- SDK RELEASED. The RAAS SDK allows third party developer to integrate RAAS directly into their aircraft. Important: This document is for experienced flight simulator programmers only. If you are a commercial 3rd party aircraft developer, and you wish to license RAAS, please PM me. 2- RAAS code updated to function with SDK. 3- Fixed an issue where RAAS could make improper calls on complex, multiple runway airports such as SFO. VERSION 1.1.0.30 1- Fixed an issue whereby the excessive approach speed call was incorrectly using ground speed, not indicated air speed. 2- Updated the logic so that an 'unstable' call will not play during approach unless a previous warning (like 'flaps', 'excessive speed' or 'approach angle' ) was played first. 3- Removed the Scenery.CFG check as it caused hangs for some users. Users must remember to run 'Make Runways' anything they update their scenery. 4- Updated the installer so that RAAS Professional users cannot accidently installed the 'locked' version of RAAS that ships with the Airbus Extended X. 5- Updated the uninstaller so as to preserve users' other 3rd party DLL.XML entries created after RAAS was installed. 6- 'On Runway' call will no longer play if unchecked. VERSION 1.1.0.22 1- Fixed an issue preventing the Master Switch from being saved properly. VERSION 1.1.0.20 1- Fixed a potential issue that would prevent users from being able to input minimum flap settings with select aircraft. SERVICE UPDATE 1: 1- To some users RAASPRO.DLL couldnt be loaded by FS9, the reason is that a single line of code was causing RAASPRO.DLL to ALWAYS depend on SIMCONNECT.DLL even if it's a FS9 ONLY installation or FSX/P3D. So if you have FS9/FSX installed in a single machine, with previous versions there were NO problems due to the fact that SIMCONNECT.DLL was always present, but on FS9 ONLY machines, SIMCONNECT.DLL is missing and RAASPRO.DLL could not find that DLL, as a result FS9 will ALWAYS say: "flight Simulator couldn't load aircraft or software...". 2- When NO LINKED/ASSOCIATED profile is found for the CURRENT aircraft, RAASPRO will be AUTOMATICALLY *TURN OFF*, otherwise if an ASSOCIATED/LINKED profile is found RAASPRO will be AUTOMATICALLY *TURN ON*. This fixes the issue of having any other plane like a cessana NOT associated with ANY profile and RAASPRO ON. 3- Fixes EDDF RUNWAY 18 issue, the fact that RUNWAY 18 has a SINGLE RUNWAY DESIGNATOR, as there is NO RUNWAY 36, that caused RAASPRO to NOT recognizing that runway, NOW RAASPRO detects runways having a SINGLE runway designator and CREATES (virtually) a FAKE runway ID, which for RUNWAY 18 would be RUNWAY 36. This would happen with EVERY RUNWAY having a SINGLE designator, so NO NEED TO CHANGE/MODIFY R4.CSV database file. 4- Fixes Altimeter Call associated with the Transition Altitude. 5- Other small fixes. Best,

  17. Hi, quick note to let you know v2.3.4 is now live! You can now use the Settings Panel | Check Updates button, and get the release notes and download the installer. We're now working on the next update with support for pop-out windows on XP11! NB: There is a jump in version numbers to keep in sync with our FltSim version.
  18. Hi, quick note to let you know v2.3.4 is now live! You can now use the Settings Panel | Check Updates button, and get the release notes and download the installer. In short: New: Support for Prepar3D v4.1 New: Link Simulator GPS Waypoints option synchronizes GNS route to FS GPS/EFIS. New: Use Legacy Mouse Knobs option offers left+right+middle buttons control. New: Adjust Brightness option to change per-instance bezel brightness in the cockpit. New: Offset Brightness option to change per-instance screen brightness in the cockpit. New: Panel Assistant 'scale' factor to change popup windows default size. Here are some notes about the new features: - new per-instance settings to adjust the brightness of the bezel, and to offset the brightness of the screen independently. Some VC are not natively designed for the GNS V2 gauge, and these settings helps the gauge look and feel. "per-instance" means you can set these up for a gauge in the VC, set these up differently for another gauge in the VC, and again for any other popup window! It is quite flexible! - 'scaling' option in the assistant when creating popup windows. Although it might not be useful as-is for the GNS V2, it is paramount when trying to stack 2x GTN 750 on a small monitor. Since we've been adding this option to the GTN, we've also added it to the GNS V2! The assistant let's you choose 1:1, ¾, ½ and ¼ scales.
  19. As many know, Angle of Attack has been providing great training since the LevelD 767 and I have enjoyed and been greatly helped by their video programs like so many others. Now Angle of Attack is offering training by a real commercial pilot, for the recently released QualityWings 787 at a very good discount price. I know because I have all of their training programs and I believe this is the least that I have ever paid, even going as far back as the LevelD training program. Below, I would like to share the email that I received from Chris Palmer of Angle Of Attack Training: ------------------------------------------------- Angle Of Attack Training Sign Up for QualityWings 787 Training Sign Up for New Quality Wings 787 Training Fellow Aviators, As many of you know, a main part of our history here at Angle of Attack involves Flight Simulation Training. If you are a Flight Sim Enthusiast, this email is for you. It is our pleasure to announce training for the QualityWings 787. Jason Sokoloff of the AOA Team has put together this great training package to give all you 787 drivers training from the get-go. The 787 is a cutting edge piece of technology, and is much different than any other aircraft for which we've offered training in the past. For example, did you know that the 787 is a 'bleed-less' aircraft? That's right, no bleed air systems. Everything is electrical. That makes this aircraft, and this training, a unique look into the the future of commercial aviation. We've setup this training as a long, thorough, in-depth sequential flight, broken down into the phases of flight. This way you get information on how to operate the systems and fly the aircraft in each phase of flight. Here is the lesson breakdown: Lesson 1 -- 20:22 Lesson 2 -- 17:12 Lesson 3 -- 28:00 Lesson 4 -- 15:08 Lesson 5 -- 22:23 Lesson 6 -- 8:25 Lesson 7 -- 7:50 Lesson 8 -- 29:20 Lesson 9 -- 22:07 Introduction Cold & Dark Power-Up Preflight Part 1 Preflight Part 2 Pushback & Startup Takeoff Climb Descent Approach & Landing The introductory price is $18 USD. The cost will go up to $27 USDafter two weeks. All the material is instantly accessible through our online training website/portal. We wish you the best in your future flights in the QualityWings 787, and enjoy learning this aircraft through our training. Sincerely, The Angle of Attack Crew ------------------------------------------------------------------
  20. Hello @ll, new versions of the ThumbnailExporter X and the P4AO are available on the Lorby-SI website. ThumbnailExporter X 1.15: This is a major step forward for this application. It will automatically detect all simulators that are installed on your computer, acquire all configured SimObjects paths and build a full report for everything that the simulator itself can "see". You no longer have to know where the SimObjects paths are (but you can still use the manual method too). The app works with FSX, FSX:SE, FSW and all versions of P3D. P3D AddonOrganizer 1.16: This is only a minor feature update. By right-clicking into the scenery list, you can export it in HTML format (for example to print it) Best regards

  24. Hi, I'm pleased to announce v2.3.2 Release Candidate is now available! This update includes: Stability and performance enhancements Corrects A/P issue related to the NAV/GPS switch not working with CDI mode with some aircraft. Corrects all known issues to date. Other changes included in previously available v2.3.1 RC: Assistant not always decoding the correct gauge X,Y,W,H (position + dimension) in the panel.cfg file. Installer reporting XML/Variant related error: we've worked on a more robust XML config tool which should prove to handle installation correctly. Support for legacy GNS exported variable, which should help transitioning until aircraft vendors catch up with GNS V2. Support for more default GPS commands, especially for the left knobs (push/inner/outer). Added a fix for the floating point error reported when the sys_nand file has been corrupted (cdp_mfd.dll error).
