Any news on failures, much like the original PIC767; maybe the 747 if not the NG?-Paul

"I think it is only relevent for flaps 30-40"Correct! If the flaps are at 30 or 40, they will automatically move to the next setting (However, if at 40, they won't move to 25).after that has been programmed, perhaps we can look at the automatic extension of the LE slats when a stall is approached ;-)Cheers.Ian.

Will there be droopping control surfaces upon shutdown, like the IFDG A320?

Wow! That's an impressive list. I'm certainly anxiously awating the release. :-jumpyI'm especially glad to see this item:8) Updated overhead panel to make it "undockable" for users of multiple monitors. That will really make life much easier. Thanks PMDG!

Hi I am new to PMDG and after the troubles with a certain Airbus 320/330 and compatability with FS9 I was contemplating buying the B737 600/700 NG package. Would it be a better idea to wait for the release of the 800/900 and then purchase. It would save on upgrade costs and I suppose get a better product being wholly compatible with FS9.MikeLiverpool UKBAV Captain

Hello and welcome Mike, Short answer is no. You will need the 700 series for a base, you cannot purchase the 800-900 by itself. The 700 is in fine condition as it is ;) and more detailed and avanced items are coming on the 800-900 so no matter you will have to purchase the upgrade along with the 700. FYI, the 700 is fine in FS9....[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. Smithhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/betaimg.jpg

Hi Randy,Thanks for the information. It will work out a bit expensive to buy the 600/700 @$39.95 and then have to pay out for the upgrade. Mind you I have been looking through the forum and there has been very few technical and compatability problems with the NG as there have with certain Airbus's. The reviews are very complimentary.Luckily the exchange rate is very good for buying goods priced in dollars so I will give it a go. Thanks for the reply.Mike

After the second patch, most of the problems people were having went away. I personally can't say I've had any problems with it at all since the SU2 patch, then again my flights are pretty routine. You won't be dissapointed with this product at all! It is more than worth the money for what you get, as well as the upgrade for the 800/900 will be. Compared to other pay ware add-ons, the NG is priced just right. I would gladly pay another $40.00 for the 800/900 upgrade. For two different planes, free liveries, real TCAS, a myriad of FMC features we've yet to even see, and the amount of work PMDG has done programming.Provided you follow the instructions and learn the FMC through tutorials and forums.Have fun!Chris

Will the upgrade overwrite the 600/700 or Will I have both 600/700 and 800/900 aircraft?RegardsRichR

HiI have decided to purchase the 600/700 and obviously upgrade it when the 800/900 is released. The TCAS sounds great. Just one thing before I get the credit card out, are the files on the AVSIM server as it could cause a problem downloading them. I know PSS use AVSIM for their downloads and they are having hardware problems. I attempted to download the manuals and tutorials this afternoon. I got most of them from the PrecisionManuals.com site but the main tutorial is on the Avsim server and that is off line. Thanks again.Mike DouglasLiverpool UKBAW688 BAV Captain
