October 3, 200421 yr Robert,Good for you moving up to the Airbus for IA. They look like a great little airline out of IAD. I went up there for vacation in August and while riding the SuperShuttle into DC, the driver was singing high praises for you guys because IA has added alot more money to his pocket with your flights into IAD. Eric
October 3, 200421 yr >I would also like to add that the addition of the new members>allows us to develop two large aircraft simultaneously, as the>core development teams are different... so if anything the>addition of these two decreases the time it will take us to>make the next airplane following the 744... such as a 777!>Boy, I'd love to see a PMDG 777-300 !!!!!!!* Orest Orest Skrypuch President & CEO, UVA www.united-virtual.com
October 4, 200421 yr Two new great developpers...FantasticMD-11...FantasticFuture 777...FANTASTIC...Future projects...fantastic!!!Congrats PMDG! Credit card ready... :-) Best regards, Fritz ESSONO
October 4, 200421 yr Wow Marc! Are you actually saying that your next a/c after the 747 will be a 777?
October 4, 200421 yr I think PMDG have left their fingers from doing an Airbus for this good reason: within MSFS it is just not possible to simulate an Airbus correctly. The MSFS engine favours simulation of airplanes which follow the BOeING kind of flight philosophy. Thus an Airbus within MSFS (at least up to version FS9) will never be fully satisfying. Also PSS stated, that the A330/A340 was the last Bus they did for MSFS.Wolfgang
October 11, 200421 yr Hey, Really looking forward to the Md11 release! shouldbe a great follow up the 747-400 from you guys! Cheers Greg Bisset :-http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/supporter.jpg
October 27, 200421 yr Im so excited to hear about the MD-11. Being a regular at KOAK, I get to see them(they could be DC-10s) all day as FedEx launches one about every 10mins or so(so it seems). I fell in love with them watching their almost "hanging in air" departure climbs. You can tell they ar work hourses, such high attitude climbs, clawing for every foot. When they come over the house you can distinguish them from all other planes, even in IMC, by the gorgeous sound of their engines.I first got into PMDG with the 777 for FLY!II. It was and remains my benchmark for any sim model. PMDG was honestly the only reason why I purchased MSFS2004 and the release of the MD-11 is like my reward for suffering through it. Thank you!By the way, I love the B1900D
November 16, 200421 yr Belated congrats to PMDG!!!I haven't gottent PMDG plane yet, but sure to make my purchase with the favorite tri-jet!!!I upgraded to FS98 just to fly ACSoft's MD11; then got FS02 to fly PSS's 744; and got FS9 because Bill commented that his MD11 is best suited to FS9!!! I have an empty hanger that would just fit MD11, and I just can't wait! Good luck to all, and keep us updated Bill ;)Happy FlyingRickyBTW: any info/update on 717?
