I haven't tried the Airsimmer A320 yet, as I am FSX-only.However, I think it is unfair to compare the A320 Basic Edition to a PMDG-quality product. We are talking apples and oranges here. Airsimmer has noted that the A320 Basic Edition lacks many features. It is even priced at a lower price point (around US $40) than a comparable PMDG product. Personally, I'm withholding judgment on the Airsimmer A320 until they release the Advanced Edition for FSX. If it still has problems then, I think everyone can rightly complain. As for why they pushed the A320 Basic Edition out now, your guess is as good as mine. It does look like the Advanced Edition is not fully baked yet, so they probably released the bits that were working (reasonably) well in the form of the Basic Edition.I can't wait to see the PMDG 737NGv2 though. That one is the top plane on my yet-to-be-released wishlist at this point. :)

They stated that they needed cash flow and releasing what was done at that point was their solution :(

Gentlemen, The Airsimmer treads are numerous in the FS9 forums, lets leave this thread AS free and only for PMDG future products.

I am not joining any discussion, I am how ever stating my wish, and is just that... Not a request or demand.I think that airsimmer.com's A319/20/21 family looks very promising. Their basic edition release is an amazing aircraft, and their full version includes features that I have never seen in FS. For them to carry on the airbus family legacy is very obvious, so I think we can all look forward to a widebodied airbus sometime in the future. With the 777 never been simulated(realistically) I think it is an obvious choice for PMDG. Airlines are in full swing of replacing the B747-400 with the 777-300ER, it is perhaps also time to start the replacement here in the virtual world of aviation?Yours TrulyBoazDK

You ever flown the one by flight1?Richy
I was on the beta test team for the Flight1 ATR-72. It is a great product. Since PMDG has ventured into the turboprop realm with the J-41, I think they should consider what I think is going to be an exciting airplane: the upcoming ATR-72-600. There is already a great deal of information on the ATR website on the Thales avionics package, not to mention the fact the ATR says the new autopilot will be CAT IIIa capable. It will also feature a push button "power boost" system that overrides the P&W 127M engine's derated power to provide additional power for better "hot and high" takeoff performance. Check out the new ATR at: http://www.atraircraft.com/public/atr/html...cts.php?aid=814. Take a look at the downloadable PDF file on the left side of the page. It details the new avionics package. I think you will agree that this would be an exciting next project for PMDG.Terry

I'm holding out for a 737...I'm dying here for it..... :( I just spent $150 for the Ariane package and livery pack because I wanted a decent 737 and was foaming at the mouth......I can't wait for some screenies and the release.Happy Gobble Gobble day to all. :(

It's not funny, I think it's great idea to do Tu-204 :)But probability to see this aircraft from PMDG is 0.0001%
It's not that hopeless. I'd say the odds are at least double that!!! :( My vote is also for the 777.

let's assume the NGX will come out in 2010 and the dash-8 will come in 2011. there is one mystery plane still left out. could it be the A300? I hope so

A300 you say?http://www.simchecksoftware.com/No idea what it'll actually be like, but it certainly looks promising.

From what PMDG have said in this forum, I am pretty sure that the Dash 8 is being done in parallel with the NGX... that they have two teams working on things... I'm willing to bet that the Dash 8 will come much sooner than 2011... and perhaps even before the NGX. RSR stated several months ago that they plan to release at least two planes per year.- Alex E.

I'd like to see a CRJ or a Metro done by PMDG.
