September 3, 200916 yr lucky guy! I just think that the performance and the unique abillites of this plane would in a way expand on the heavy iron experience! no passengers to upset! :( A high wing 4 holer would be something different. In saying that there is also the bae 146.Hey I've always been a fan of the BAe 146 as well. There was a pretty good freeware version. I think it was by Project Bae Panel or something like that.I also would like to see more old business jets come around. I am still an analog gauge type of flyer. Has anyone ever seen a payware Learjet 25 or 35, Falcon 10, 20, 200 or 50? How about a Hawker 700 or 800? Keith Guillory
September 3, 200916 yr A C-17 would be an awsome idea; although the simulation would be a huge undertaking. It doesn't fly like a normal heavy, and the nav system has many additions to what airliners usually have. Not to mention Boeing agreeing to a simulation. Minus all of the miltary stuff of course.Cheers,Todd ATP MEL Commercial SEL B-747, BE-300, BE-400, DHC8, ERJ 170/190, MU-300 C-17A Globemaster III
September 3, 200916 yr I don't care what PMDG does, as long as it's not an Airbus. I don't see any reason for two high end Airbus products on the market. AirSimmer will be doing the entire Airbus line, from A318 to at least A340, as they have stated and can be seen on their website. I therefore don't see any reason for PMDG to start with Airbus too, and give us stuff we will already have. Let them do a 777, that's something the majority wants and is really needed now. What'd be best, I think, is a Dash-8. I think I read somewhere "a Dash" was indeed the next step, and I'll be anxiously waiting for it. We really need good propliners! There are many Boeing add-ons on the market but still not a single good Airbus sim. When Airsimmer comes out, we have ONE QUALITY Airbus (yet to be seen). Aerosoft is working on a A321, but it will be aimed at the beginner. A 777 is so similar to a 744 (from a simmer's point of view), it doesn't make any sense to me to do that. But this is my personal view. And if it's not an Airbus, then any other aircraft but not Boeing again. BTW, I'm not a 'Boeing-hater', nor a 'Airbus-lover'. What I hate, are those childish statements like 'Airbus is crap' and 'Airbus is boring' and so on.Cheers Walter
September 3, 200916 yr I agree with you on two points:1) PMDG should do neither a Boeing nor an Airbus plane aftre the J41. I think they should focus on propliners like the Dash-8.2) I also started to dislike the guys that think black and white: "Airbus is crap", "Boeing is crap" and so on. Both have their pros and cos, as far as I'm concerned. However, I think we can be sure that the Airsimmer Airbus will be of very high quality, and the price they will be asking will be fully justified. I think therefore that PMDG has no good reason to start doing an Airbus, when there are other aircraft that really need a good FS simulation - like the Boeing 777. I am for diversity in our hobby, and I wouldn't like to see another Airbus, when we miss so many other planes. September 4, 200916 yr A PMDG King Air (350), Citation anything, Beechjet, Learjet, etc... we need something along those lines.Scott
September 4, 200916 yr Don't laugh but I would reaaaally love to see some PMDG quality Russian iron such as the TU-204!!! It has some really intricate systems, which can hopefully be translated into English and almost flies like a 757. There are some western operators using it too, so no worries there. Otherwise the biz-jets would be a logical addition to the PMDG fleet, maybe a Gulfstream V? Falcon 2000? GlobalExpress? If PMDG wants to stick to the turboprops, I would love to see the SAAB 2000 or even a decent Fokker 50.Greetings,MJ O'Donnell
September 4, 200916 yr Flight1 is working on the FSX rebirth of the beautiful ex-Aeroworx B200 King Air...I am all for the Dash8 in FSX, as the Majestic VC leaves IMO a little to be desired, albeit an in-depth simulation of the aircraft...But as I am sure I have mentioned before, they will choose what they wish to do next, and we will most likely buy it... at the end of the day, it is a PMDG...Andrew Andrew Entwistle
September 4, 200916 yr If I had to select an airliner for the PMDG stable, I would suggest the Boeing 717. Christopher Low AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU / 64GB DDR5-6000 RAM / 12GB Nvidia RTX 4070 Super GPU / Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi 7 / 1+2TB Samsung Evo Plus M2 Nvme UK2000 Beta Tester
October 6, 200916 yr To the devs/product managers of PMDG:Please, please don't go for a 777 or any other heavy. We do have a bunch of excellent long hauler heavies already. Not everybody is interested in long hauls!FSX severely lacks PMDG-quality simulations of smaller and widely operated aircraft:- the A319/320- the CRJ- the 717- the Dash 8 - the Cessna CJ's- the 737 NG (ok, that one's going to come ...)Personally I'd love to see a CRJ, Dash 8 or A319 with great realism and system depth. Thanks for listening Dave P. Woycek
October 6, 200916 yr Commercial Member I would personally love to see us do a CRJ at some point... it's one of the most prevalent aircraft in the sky in the US at least now. I flew home on a brand new 2-week-old 700 model from SFO-PHX a couple weeks back and it was much better than the smaller 200 model as far as pax comfort etc. Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com
