February 23, 200917 yr a brand new 747-400 for FS9 & FSX with a new VC and "Wide Screen" support for the 2D cockpit. no more stretched panels/gauges. happy flyin, Tim Wheeler
February 24, 200917 yr A 737-200 has already been done to payware quality; see: http://forums1.avsim.net/index.php?showforum=253 Joe Sherrill
March 1, 200917 yr You cant honestly tell me that the 737-200 that you mentioned is payware quality!?! The model doesnt look right flight dynamics not quite par.. The sounds are horrible.. and the biggest thing of it all... No VC!!! I would love to see a PMDG quality 737-200.. No one has actually made a decent 737-200.. Hopefully PMDG will even consider it... Even if its way down the line I know a lot of people would love to see this steam gauge beauty done right! greg
March 2, 200917 yr In terms of the panel and the handling, I think it is more than up to par. Yes, the sounds and model do leave alot to be desired, and I never fly from the VC anyway... Joe Sherrill
March 3, 200917 yr ok so, PMDG should make some aircraft which is used by airlines and no general aviation (not a lot of people fly that at online networks) and no military and no private jet.something like the following:A300-600AvroRJ85a good A380a good Dreamlineror maybe a 757. and for the future releases, i wish the following expensionsweather radarframe friendly cockpit (like in wilco ones)I think I can almost certainly guarantee that you won't see an A380 from PMDG any time in the forseeable future (certainly not in the next few years), as the aircraft is brand new and it's almost certain that Airbus would be less than forthcoming with the information required to create a simulation of the same standards as the PMDG 747. The same can be said for the Dreamliner - probably even more so than the A380 - because the Dreamliner isn't even in service with any airlines yet! So if you want those aircraft, you'll have to put up with Wilco-standard simulations. Weather radar has been flogged to death already in this forum - no more need be said on that topic I think. Another very good developer is already working on a B757, which I think will be great if their only other aircraft is anything to go by. Matthew Bellette
March 3, 200917 yr Hi,I do have both the 747-400 and the MD-11. For my opinion they are the best airliner simulations available. However I am really tired of this huge aircraft. Nothing is more boring than flying from one large airport to another. I prefer short trips from regional airports to the main hubs. Therefore I am really waiting for the 737NGX. A regional jet would be a great idea too and I hope the secret aircraft is one. Besides that I am still looking for a really good business jet. I have a few in my FSX hangar but none of them can meet the PMDG standard.Best regardsG. Kollmann
March 4, 200917 yr We're well aware of the 777 requests guys... I've said this a bunch of times in the past. What I really would like is the Falcon 7X with the EasyCockpit, absolutly fabulous.Take a look at the Dassault site!!!AlainV
March 4, 200917 yr +1Wonderful glass cockpit on the 7X, its the Primus Epic from Honeywell.Benjamin Mathon
March 6, 200917 yr from the list provided I voted for 777but my ideal add-on, and fully in-line with the level of complexity and quality that PMDG are clearly capable of and now accustomed/committed to providing, is a Gulfstream GIV/V. It has it all, tech/elegence/performance.would seem to me a backward step for PMDG to start on classic airliners (even though systems might present a challenge), would assume full glass cockpit technology is what is expected of them at the top end, although I appreciate this need not be the case at the lower end.jlm
March 6, 200917 yr As a lot of people have stated, whilst the 747 and MD-11 are certainly tour-de-force simulations, medium and short range airliners tend to be a bit more usable in FS, where the flight distances are shorter. With that in mind, I think an A320 which realistically models the Alpha Floor Functions and all those freaky FBW gizmos would be a good compliment to Seattle's offering in the same sector. There are a lot of Airbus models around, but the same could be said of the 737, and there's always room for one more when it gets things right. I daresay many PMDG 737 owners also have other ones from Wilco, Ariane, Tin Mouse etc.Personally, I'd like to see the Illyushin IL-86 or the Tupolev Tu-204 done well, for that matter a very realistic A340 would be cool too.Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
March 14, 200917 yr I'd have to say a 777 as well, since its my favorite aircraft. PMDG did a 777 a long time ago for a little flight simulation named Fly!, so I'm sure the aircraft isn't exactly foreign to them. I'd also like to see an EMB-170/190.
March 15, 200917 yr New PMDG Boeing NG 737 series coming out................A320 or small Airbus....NOT!Big Airbus would be nice but it would take ages to do it properly PMDG being B-Centric and all!Would be nice in the future though and it would be better than the other guys. (Please no A-380!)B777 would be awesome and who cares if its too similar to the other wide bodies offered.I am going to call it an MD-80....90.....etc. Ok B 717 because that's what it is NOW!It goes hand in hand with the MD11 really. Boring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (The MD11 is not boring just the 717)How about nice steam driven glass gauge Marlborough smoking DC-10! Please no props!!
