I would love to see pmdg do a CRJ series 200/700/900, I think digital aviation is making a 700/900, but I don't know much about them or there quality.

My vote is for the Dash 8 Q400. It's something totally different, nothing available comes close to what PMDG could do and it's a very common aircraft now flying around the world at large and small airports. I like the 777 but it limits you to large airports and longish flights. With the Dash 8 *Q400* I would be be able to fly out of a major airport to any number of small airports close by or 1 - 2 hours away.
I would have to agree with you're choices, and PMDG needs to do a 777.Michael Pare

Their Fokker 100/70 is Awesome, PMDG quality IMO. (Despite a few bugs)

When you think about it there are about 9 types of aircraft in aviation:MillitaryHeaviesGAShort Haulers Twin propsProplinersBusiness JetsTouring planesrotorcraftMaybe PMDG could focus on one of these "sections" one at a time and then they will dominate the aircraft modelling market, and will have some happy customers :(

The problem is they could never cover all of these aircraft in a life time unless they could turn them out a lot faster, but then you could run into quality problems, so many great aircraft will never be, as is PMDG most likely has 20 years of work with all pending requests.Michael Pare.

I really wish pmdg develop a boeing 777, that would be awsome....

I saw it mentioned somewhere else in the thread, but I'd also really like to see a BAe 146/Avro jetliner. That aircraft has a brilliant design that's unmatched by any plane I know off. I good freeware project was on its way, but as is all too prevalent with freeware project, it was pulled. Although HJG does have a pretty nice model with a cabin modelled in, and there is quite a nice panel, it's just not PMDG quality. What I would like is a good BAe 146 simulation, including virtual cockpit. In other news, I'd also very much like Russian aircraft, since there is hardly anything for that, certainly not in FSX (All the freeware and payware planes that are worthwhile are FS2004 only, or have problems in FSX, sadly).

I've changed my mind on this since I last posted. I previously wanted a Boeing 777 after the NGv2...however, another outfit (which shall not be named here) has announced a 767-400, which is very close to a 777 in many ways. Wouldn't be surprised to see them morph their 767-400 into a 777 eventually. Now, I think I have to agree with the people calling for PMDG to try their hand at doing a BAe 146/AvroRJ. It's a very unique plane, which would probably be much more interesting for the PMDG designers to model, compared to yet another Boeing long haul plane. Used to see quite a few BAe 146's in the U.S. until the RJs took over...still see them a lot in Europe. Count me in for one of these! My second choice would be a high-quality CRJ, although I have seen another company has plans to do one of those. They don't seem to be very far along, though, not having posted any updates in a long time. A PMDG CRJ would definitely be awesome.

Chris, I think the CRJ you are thinking of actually was released today, but it's only intended for 32bit systems so I'm afraid that counts me out.EDITED Dang, that wasn't a CRJ - it was an ERJ! My bad...

Avro RJ(BAe 146) would be a great project :(

Bring on the Airbus family please.Airsimmer didn't deliver a pmdg quality product...

Happy Landings!

Airsimmer has only released their basic version... which you are correct in my opinion to define as not PMDG's level...They are still working on the advanced version. I would be surprised to see this version out by Christmas this year...I believe Airsimmer pushed their A320 out in the basic form for 2 reasons:1: Cash flow2: To beat Aerosoft a little, as their FSX A320 could well take a number of potential Airsimmer customers away and onto FSX before Airsimmer had the chance to sell anything...This is of course pure conjecture... and you are all entitled to your own opinions...Andrew

I only observe that they promissed a top quality product and didn't deliver that for commercial, technical or other reason. At this moment they are not sure whether they will provide an update to the (still to come) advanced version or not. I cannot think of any other than technical reasons for this.It makes me think that there is still a very long way to go untill there will be an advanced version that does exactly what they did promiss from the beginning.

Happy Landings!

Boeing 314. A tough project for any developer to get right.
