Yup I can confirm this. If you are in Idle Clamp mode and below the GS upon LOC capture the aircraft will climb to intercept the GS. Had this at EHAM. ATC cleared me to descend to 2000 about 15 miles out but when the GS came active the Autopilot commanded a climb back to almost 5000 feet until capture occured.Karsten

Captain Randazzo, Thank you SOOOO MUCH for your contribution to our simulation community and your dedication to the highest quality product :( I have but one problem with the MD-11 updates-when I install the first update(1.10.1010 i think) my system works fine-but when I install the SECOND(current) update 1.20.0055- and restart my system-it fails to boot-i have run anti-virus and all sorts of checks-any help in this department from ANYONE would be appreciated... Ross: Perhaps it is best to email pmdg support, get an automatic response, and explain the problem. We went through a dozen or more update installs during beta testing and no one reported a problem like you describe and there are only a few update related problems reported in the forum. Please send the email... you should hear from them soon (but not on the weekend). Good luck with that.

Hello Captains,I am coming back to the simulation world after some months and after make some changes in my pc so I ve just installed again the FSX. My problem is that I only have the original version of the MD11X. I didnt download the v1.10.0051 update because by those days i realised that my pc was not so good to run Fsx so I uninstalled fsx (and the MD 11X of course).I ve just read here that is necesary to first install v1.10.0051 update and then install v1.20.0055, but when I look at the PMDG service update page I only find the v1.20.0055. Where can I download the v1.10.0051 update ??? :( Thanks for your help ...... :( :( RICARDO

The installer download is complete and should install without the earlier version. Give it a try.
