June 28, 200916 yr Captain,Although the LOC doesn't indicate center of the scale, the FD bars are centered and the landing is deviate from the runway! At the RJBB 06R: ILS-LLZ 108.1 IKD, 058
June 28, 200916 yr hello, not being an expert, but looking at the screenshot, it appears to me that you have not captured the localiser and the glideslope, hence the approach only indicated above the alt. tape. if you were trying to fly a full auto land it may be you did not click on the apprland button. i may be wrongbut thats how i see it. richard welsh Richard Welsh
June 29, 200916 yr Author Thanks Richard,As you say, this isn't 'DUAL LAND' but 'G/S APPR ONLY' and the G/S has been held. It might be after v1.20.0055 upgrade, I think.Of course, I have pushed APPR/LAND button; however, this problem has occurred at the Japanese airports (RJBB, RJCC and RJGG) peculiarly in my recent experiences. Why?Sincerely,Kan-ichiro Fushihara
June 29, 200916 yr If you are landing in the grass, start looking for a magdev error. Start with the registry repair tool from Flight1, then start turning off add-on sceneries. FS9 or FSX? Dan Downs KCRP

FS9 or FSX?Thanks Dan,Yes, I'm landing in the grass. Although I have tried FS_Registry_exe and I'm using no add-on Japanese sceneries on the FSX, I cannot properly carry out the DUAL LAND.I have succesfully done the DUAL LAND on the Tutorial Flight 1 (EGLL - LSZH).Sincerely,Kan-ichiro Fushihara

People don't realize that thereare some products out there that will mess it up, so running the fix is not a one-time thing. Do yourself a favor, run it again and retest. Anytime you install something new into the sim there isa chance that it will bork the registry again, so keep the fixer handy :) Jack F. Vogel, Delta Virtual Airlines
June 29, 200916 yr Author Dear Jack,Thank you for your kind advice.Although I have done twice as you said, there has been no change. When I executed FS_Registry_Repair.exe with the button of 'Repair FSX Registry Path', the message of the Title: FS9 Registry Repair Tool (FS9?) and "D:\FSX\ successfully added to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator\10.0\SetupPath!" has appeared and I pushed OK button.I will continue to try further.Sincerely,Kan-ichiro Fushihara

However under vista64 the flight1 patch was placing the key in an incorrect location in the registry.Double check with regedit and make sure the patch has placed the key in the correct location, if not try placing it manually.-Sam
June 30, 200916 yr Author Dear Sam,Thank you for your kind advice.I have checked with regedit (I'm using Vista 32bit) and confirmed that D:\FSX is correctly placing in the data columm of the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWEARE\Microsoft\Microsoft games\Flight Simulator\10.0\SetupPath.The ILS localizer normaly hold MD-11 on the LSGG 05 but doesn't correctly hold on the RJOO 32L as same others in Japan, I have checked afterward.Sincerely,Kan-ichiro Fushihara
June 30, 200916 yr Author Tested furthermore,Not only in the Japan airports but in the USA airport (KJFK 31L), MD-11 ILS autoland cannnot correctly capture and hold the Localizer!Sincerely,Kan-ichiro Fushihara
June 30, 200916 yr Hi,Have experienced this at a couple of airports with both 747-400X and MD-11X in fact I am almost certain I have read somewhere that at least one of them has a 3 degree offset localiser. I have no idea why.The airport I have consistently found this problem with is Nice Cote D'Azur (LFMN).John
June 30, 200916 yr The offset localizer at JFK is on 22R I believe.. the approach to 31L works okay for me. Hope this helps a little. Dan Downs KCRP
