August 20, 200916 yr More liveries, winglets, sunshades in vc, substantive fixes, too. We'll try 'er out and see what got fixed (for me).
August 21, 200916 yr Please let us know. I've been on the fence about purchasing this since I already own the Level-D 767. Do you know what fixes are in 1.1? Christopher Edwards

August 21, 200916 yr Tim_Capps,Thanks for the notice on the CS 767. I was still debating on when I would buy the updates to this one. I'm still hoping they will accurately model the sounds for each different engine, but also important to me will be accurate ECIAS readouts that correspond to each of the engine types used on 767's similar to how this was provided for the 757s. August 21, 200916 yr Author I am flying it right now and I find improvements that look very promising, but hard to say much on one flight. There is a cool sun visor that snaps in different places, the night lighting is further improved, and the fuel gauge on the overhead is easier to read. Separate lighting effects for left and right seats. The jet sound being heard when the engine is off is fixed. There are also more liveries (although still no official USA ones; Dave Sweetman's Delta is looking real good, though, whenever that is ready).Yes, the upper EICAS now changes depending on whether you have a GE or a PW engined-model.About the only negative things I have to say at this point is that I'm going to have to adjust engine sound (too loud), and I still don't have an altitude chime. The integration with the CS Wx Radar didn't come through; promised for the next update. Another graphics touch: overheads open in the cabin. They have also provided two flights, one ready for take-off, which is nice for those times when you just need a quick hit off the 767 crack pipe. The manuals look overhauled, at least in part. Haven't done a page-by-page comparison.
August 21, 200916 yr Funny you mention loud engines. I always thought the level-d engines were a little on the loud side too! But then again, its a jet engine. Sounds promising though from what you have mentioned. Ah choices! Christopher Edwards
August 21, 200916 yr I appreciate everyone who has provided immediate feedback on the 767. When 767 1.00 first came out, it was the very first time I purchased an addon plane without reading any reviews or watching for updates. When I pick up the 1.1 or later, I might still want to tweak the sounds a bit according to what I've read so far. I thought the original GE sounds from the cockpit were loud too. I'm wondering if anyone has tried to fit any of the sound packages by TSS or Synchro-Soft to the CS 767. Keith Guillory
August 21, 200916 yr I won't be buying this until they've fixed the 757. How they can release and expect people to buy the 767 when the 757 still has problems is beyond me.
August 21, 200916 yr I just ran the 767 1.1 update. So far I like the changes I am seeing. For a few reasons though, the sound files are a bit unusual as I transition from idle to full-thrott. The good thing is we can change up things on any day of the week to be satisfied. Keith Guillory
August 21, 200916 yr Author Yes, this looks like a significant upgrade, with some polishing, some fixes and some more candy. Oh well, now I get do all those long test flights all over again and scrap a lot of writing.
August 22, 200916 yr CaptainSim acknowledges the sound problem in their FAQ and indicates that the config will be fixed in their next update. Jeff Bea I am an avid globetrotter with my trusty Lufthansa B777F, Polar Air Cargo B744F, and Atlas Air B748F.

How they can release and expect people to buy the 767 when the 757 still has problems is beyond me.Are you talking about version 4.3? While I'm sure there are still some problems, as all products do, with this version the 757 is much better than when first released, especially with the addition of navigraph support. I don't get to use it that much though, because my main FSX installation (Which works best for me) is FSX SP1 on Windows XP. My Vista installation has SP2/Acceleration. Fir some reason SP2 on my XP system causes a performance issue. I'm sure I could resolve it with a fresh install, but I'm not prepared to do that unless I really have too. August 22, 200916 yr The CS757 v4.3 is my favorite FSX Boeing. It flies beautifully and if you have a high-end computer it's a real pleasure to see how much details and work were involved in producing such an addon.Apart from some minor bugs, the V4.3( long-expected though) fixed all the known issues.I don't own the 767 but I guess it's a good product too. - PC Hardware: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D // Asus ROG Crosshair X870E HERO // 2x32Gb Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5 6000MT/s CL30 // ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4090 OC Edition // 4Tb Corsair NVMe M.2 MP600 // Corsair 1600W PSU Samsung Odyssey Arc 55" curved 165 Hz monitor. - Simulator Hardware: VIRPIL Constellation Alpha Prime + VIRPIL VPC Universal Control Panel - #3 + MOZA AY210 Force Feedback Yoke + WINWING URSA MINOR 32 Throttle & PAC Metal + WINWING SKYWALKER Metal Rudder Pedals + WINWING Airbus FCU & EFIS + WINWING Boeing 3N PAP + WINWING MCDU-32 + WINWING PFP-4 + WINWING PFP 3-N + WINWING PFP-7.
August 22, 200916 yr CaptainSim acknowledges the sound problem in their FAQ and indicates that the config will be fixed in their next update.I simply replaced the sounds for GE RR and PW with newly purchased TSS sound packages. For me, these sound files are more aligned with power settings. The engine sounds from the cockpit are still too loud but I can make adjustments. Yes, it cost me an extra $25 dollars for the GE and PW. I was already using a replacement RR package for the 757 Captain. This is just a suggestion. Keith Guillory
