September 26, 200916 yr Hi guys, forgive me if I am doing something wrong but I am a noob, The interior lighting while flying at night does not show. Thanks for a brilliant planeRyan KingHi Ryan, while in the captains seat, look over your right shoulder and you will see a little, white switch. Place your cursor over it and it will say 'cabin lights'; press same and you should be good to go !!Best regards,GodfreyG :(
September 26, 200916 yr Hi,if i try to perform an enginestart only via batterie (no GPU) and switch on the STBY fuelpumps there is no pressure on the Fuel PressureGauges is that right or a possible bug?regardsJ
September 26, 200916 yr Correct, Kevin. I thought it was a bug in beta but was informed of the electrical dependency. Note the temps work: thermocouples. Dan Downs KCRP
September 26, 200916 yr Not sure if this has already been mentioned but once the left engine has been started and is running, I use the unfeather switch to get the right engine ready for start up and from the FO's seat I look over the shoulder to visually check the engine, it appears to be moving even though the engine is turned off. From spot view the right engine is off but from the FO's seat the engine appears to be turning.I have seen this also. September 26, 200916 yr simulatorman, and others, please sign posts in this forum.Engines will start on battery is sufficient voltage per manual exists. Dan Downs KCRP
September 27, 200916 yr I may be wrong, but I'd guess this is because the fuel pressure gauges aren't powered in this condition.Kevinand who knows whether there is enough fuelpressure or not? regards J
September 28, 200916 yr Hello folksIs it just happens here, or when have both engines out DURING FLIGHT and i try to lower the gear, i hear the sound of th gears being lowered but de-facto are not lowered ... can someoe please confirm it's a bug ??greg oliver
September 28, 200916 yr - Autopilot approach mode goes into 2500 ft/min dive after GS capture.I had some problems capturing the GS when descending in ALT SEL mode. It seemed to just continue the descent thru the Selected Altitude and ignore the GS, but I was fumbling around a lot so can't be sure. I had no problems capturing the GS while in ALT HOLD mode.
September 29, 200916 yr I had some problems capturing the GS when descending in ALT SEL mode. It seemed to just continue the descent thru the Selected Altitude and ignore the GS, but I was fumbling around a lot so can't be sure. I had no problems capturing the GS while in ALT HOLD mode.So alt hold has to be selected in order for the aircraft to capture and hold the GS? Scott KGPI
September 29, 200916 yr So alt hold has to be selected in order for the aircraft to capture and hold the GS?No, the localiser have to capture before G/S and you can capture the glide with v/s from above or under the glidpath withoutarm alt sel.Iam new to this bird, but the first thing a test is the behavor of the AP./Hans Westman
September 29, 200916 yr Would love a 2d pop-up of the auto pilot - given its location in the real plane where I'm sure that the pilots learn to operate it by feel so they don't have to take their eyes off the skies or the gagues, this seems a reasonable accomodation to me given we can't "do" that flying a computer. Thanks!Colin
September 30, 200916 yr I think he means the FD panel. Heading,Nav,Alt Selec...etcKevin Manley Kevin M. Manley
October 1, 200916 yr Don't know if this is a Bug Really, But, I noticed that the smoke on startup come from the prop end of the engine not the exhaust end?*grin* not a real issue just an observation.....Gary T
