As far as I remember I placed the LUA script in the FSUIPC modules folder and added a line to the cfg, then the script was selectable within the buttons mapping menu. I am away from my PC now but make a new post if you cant figure it out and I'll check it for you tomorrow.

Good that you found this video helpful, but just a word of caution: you'd be better reading the section in the tutorial about setting the props back on the start locks as his technique is all wrong (although at least he manages to get them unfeathered - which he calls "feathered" unfortunately - ready for start up). But if you shut the engines down correctly, they'll end up on the start locks anyway - I haven't had to reset mine since my first few attempts at understanding these engines lol.

Yeah I used his video tutorial in combination with the manuals of the product and I have full and successful start ups every single time, so I am very happy with this product now!

I have only had one fire now, that was while in flight and I was pushing the limit of the plane but I didn't realize it since I was alt+tabbed looking up some info on an nearby airport haha. So I had to make an emergency landing on another nearby field (pretty much successful ;) ).

Thanks for your word of caution!

As Megaupload is not available anymore is there a way to still get this little useful program?

  • 1 month later...

I was able to download the program today and use.  It seemed that FSX took a bit longer to load up but once I started flight and hit Tab Q, a few things happened and it opened cold and dark with some pylons, baggage cart, and doors open.

I am not sure why I am unable to quote the link, but the link posted by TABS on page three of this thread, (the drop box one) worked perfect for me today

hmm, must be something with your internet security settings then.  When I click the link it takes me to another page the asks I want to download the link.  I can email it to you if you like

Hi Jason

I have no problem opening up other dropbox links or any other hosting websites. This one just returns me back to this page, so yes, please, if you can PM me that link, I'll give it another go.

Thanks.
