I have news for you, the NG 2.0 will be FSX only. Just continue supporting half baked fs products via buying them and soon even the pmdg will be selling you the unfinished junk, because they can :)
Ok then, that cuts me out and can live with that :( Why. They can do what ever they want np here :( RegardsAage
:( :( problem with this conspiracy theory of yours is that flight1 is the distributer ... and has a 30-day 100% return policy. :( --
Not everybody knows that, nor it is advertised anywhere.Btw I wish you (feelthere) guys could get it done right with the A320, like pmdg did with the MD-11 and the 747, then we probably wouldn't be dealing with this situation. Instead ft's no support guy defending another sucker A320 sim while not offering any support or return for his own products doesn't make any sense..
Ron ... you got my point! (i didn't mention level-D as that mark some of us as being very long in the tooth.)folks:level-D and PMDG didn't become the developers they are today overnight. mistakes were made and their products matured over time. no one here knows what will be the long term status of airsimmer or their airbus. (if you do know how to read the future where were you 20 months ago before the USA housing market pulled down the world economy?)--
Smartass comments abound...... very unprofessional of you and R.Hamilton to target Level D to demonstrate a point on buggy releases. Heh, feelThere define the term 'buggy releases' !!
That's because Ford is selling you a whole different car.
The two models may well have the same bodyshell and engine even though the trim and accessories may be different. Ford are selling the same bodyshell and engine!

you see the return policy multiple times when making the wrapper download, purchase agreement and receive the comfirmation email.
while not offering any support
no support?http://iemit.com/forumhttp://forum.iemit.commy multiple posts in avsim.com, flightsim.com, vatsim.net, etc.
or return for hos own products doesn't make any sense..
when was the policy not made clear? one must agree to the terms before making the purchase. the policy is on the product sales site.--

When you buy a basic Ford without cruise control or GPS you can certainly take the car back in and have just those things installed without having to buy an entirely new car.
Only if Ford chooses to offer them. In this case AirSimmer has made it clear it isn't offering an upgrade path and no one can claim they's been misled. The question of the quality of the basic model is a different matter. As I said, if it won't complete a flight then it's not fit for purpose.

target Level D to demonstrate a point on buggy releases.
no developer is 'targeted'. the point is, read carefully here, that statements of perfection coming from any developer cannot hold water. all developers release SPs ... and some of those with current 'great reps' didn't start out with by putting his/her best foot forward.
Heh, feelThere define the term 'buggy releases' !!
that's right, i forgot, Level-D, PMDG, eaglesoft, coolsky, Digital Aviation, Flight1, RealAir, etc. etc. have never released an SP ... :( :( --

I don't recall any of them going out to the community saying "Will you be a beta tester for us? It'll only cost you $50", followed 6 months later by "We totally mismanaged our development by poor business practices. 40% of the known bugs are remaining, so to obtain funding and continue development, here is a version called "basic".There is a HUGE difference between releasing a product with significant bugs which are discovered post-launch and have to be patched, and releasing a product with significant known bugs, calling it a "basic" version and saying "please buy it, we need the money to offer what we originally promised".These a really excited user who are saying "Hey, it's just the basic version, it'll be fixed and work in the advanced version. Why is everyone complaining?"... Yeah, for an additional $90... Must be the new, perverted, mathematics of the sky..

Still posting links of the locked forums, geez.. Nothing but pure delusion and hot air I say..

Personnally i think this topic should be locked. WAY to much bagging, pointing fingers and the usual my stuff is better than youres. At the end of the day these type of threads REALLY do show the true colors of people :(And to be perfectly honest i REALLY do hope Airsimmer can pull it off, and put all the nesayers to rest i really do. And if they do well good luck to them.RegardsMike

If I was on the ET Team I would be very quiet now. You guys have a NDA with a company run out of a basement, in a foreign country (for most of you, which in case you did not know, you fall under their laws), that at this moment just released a product, that by their own admission is flawed. Also again by their own admission is in financial trouble. A NDA is a one way street and unless your lawyer is proof reading your posts, shut up. If they go under which could become very likely, don't be a part of the problem. That includes the fan boys, love it or hate it, keep quiet.

I don't think you will find a person that doesn't want Airsimmer to make it. The problem everybody has around here is the way Airsimmer is doing it. The damn extended team has a better and more functional version then us end users that bought the basic version. Don't give me the whole "They paid $16 more for their version than you did!!!" spiel either. The least that they could have done was to give us a full functioning FMCU. Instead, they sell us a plane that is riddled with bugs, and only half functional. Sure she looks pretty, but so did the CS Block B...Then when you ask them what the deal is, you get a "If you don't like it, then return it and wait for the advanced version" response. Well, doesn't that completely defeat the whole revenue generating aspect of this deal? The bottom line is that I feel like a beta tester. Airsimmer released a very buggy plane, knowing that we are going to go report the issues to them. If that's the case, then at least give me the same plane that the extended team has.
