Hi Steve:No, it's not a requirement whatsoever to get rid of any other add-ons. You can choose what you want to use from our product. It's built to play nice. :( Cheers.

Looks great Tim. I have to ask does REXV2 include the FS9 version (when it's ready of course). It looks like it does but would like a confirmation. If it does that is one heck of a deal (multi pronged add on for FSX and FS9 @ $40)!

Hi Jure, I will be placing the REX/FS2004 manual on our forum hopefully today in preparation for release so folks can get an idea on things coming :( Cheers!
Hi Tim,thanks! Sounds great... WideFS support means a lot to me - I tend to keep my FS computer as clean as possible and run all "auxiliary" applications on my secondary rig. For a while I even had a third computer in that role... :( Steve: As far as I understand things, REX v.2 will let you install only the things you want and leave the others (for example: runways textures, etc... ) intact if you so desire. Right now I am running an interesting combination of FE, GEPro II, ASG and a few freeware sets of water and clouds on my FS9 installation. Regards,Jure

Hi All.Thanks for the info Tim and Jure, I feel somewhat relieved now.Tim, do you know when we will be able to grab hold of the manual so we can "prepare" for the release of the product. This will be useful for us all, so that when we buy it we will already know how to use it, and hopefully stop a lot of the "what does this do" and "why can't I stop it doing!" in the forums.I'm looking forward to the release of this product very much. Many thanks.

Steve.

Tim are the FSX and FS9 versions buying one gets you the other?

altstiff, I'm sorry, I missed your post above.. my apologies. As for you question, that will not be the case. Mainly due to the fact it has taken almost a year to get this version to where it's at now. So, if you buy one, you will get a discount on the other. The exact amount and the price for the FS2004 version is TBD. We will be releasing all this information hopefully tomorrow.

I can live with that. I'm far too excited about this news ("information maybe tomorrow") to be disappointed about other stuff.

I'm halfway through the download ... honestly can't wait.Ever since seeing the FSX screenshots I wanted the same but in FS9.The only other thing I'm waiting for with as much anticipation is the Qualitywings 757 ...I'm just praying I'll finally be able to fly the nicest plane ever the way it is supposed to be flown.I'll have a really nice surrounding to test it in,though :(
