hmm could that be, that it has something to do with the alphachannel? i am a complete noob about alphachannels - i know that they are for the gloss effect on the planesurface. Probably the alphachannel is also responsible for the lighting effect on the tail. i'm currently doing some reallife stuff (a course about basic photoshop editing *boooring*) but i'll check that - could not be so hard to figure out if the alphachannel is responsible for that. Everyone who can tell me that it isn't - do so. i have no real clue :) all the best, alex

Its probably the alpha channel yes, the more shades of black is on that layer the more shine your bird will, but I never got really around this within 6 months of repaints...lolAny chance of a fictional SWISS repaint? cheers

Chicago Express operated J31s in their original livery, and once ATA bought them they were replaced with S340s. Hello Jim,I had a bit more time today so I searched - starting from the 'back' - on page 24 and went forward up until I saw member "Yirzhak'" request for this very same Kirland Aviation Livery. So, I might be correct in stating that David might NOT have created it?Additionally, in my search backward, I came across a private GA-type livery you created... named... "M_JABL_01.zip". This paint looks soooooooo close to the Kirland Aviation livery, if it wasn't for the Reg No, I'd swear it was the Kirland Aviation bird?EDIT: M_JABL_01.zip is on page #17Please, if/when you have some free time, would you please take a look at M_JABL-01.zip and compare it to the Kirland Aviation JS41?Thanks in advance,Keith

I have a question for hodge or anyone else who is a painter. I painted PenAir, but although I'm okay with the amount of reflection from the alpha channel, how do you subdue it a bit? There are some paint job you just want to have less shine on it, and make it look a little worn if you know what I mean. I've tried to create the alpha channel rather than use the one it comes with it, but no success. Any help will be appreciated, and thanks in advance.

Yeah, sorry about that! It's up in flightsim.com now titled and fhe file name is ; "FSX PenAir Jetstream 41 Fix". and fhe file name is; "j41_penair-1.zip"
