  1. The patch has been completely trouble free for me. Everything seems a little smoother overall. I'm a happy boy. Hope you guys having issues can get them sorted out quickly and enjoy some flying time.
  2. It still feels surreal to me that a sim that looks and feels just like FSX (but isn't!) is getting official and tangible updates. Every time I check those changelogs it's like christmas morning all over. I'm stoked!
  3. +1 for FSCaptain. It's already a fantastic product with great support and enormous future potential. You do have to engage in some minimal fiddling to get it working to your liking, but nothing major. There is a standalone version in the works which should alleviate all that anyway. Highly recommended.
  4. Whoa, wait, what? That's outstanding. From where/who did this rumor originate? Apologies if this is obvious news. Been away from the forums for a long time.
  5. X-Plane, while a formidable piece of software, does not seem viable in comparison to the alternatives. I've definitely jumped on the Prepar3D bandwagon with the latest pricing/structuring changes. Not to mention the PMDG announcement that they may start considering the platform in the future. I have to say I am loving it so far. Massive potential for the future and the developers are slowly coming around: http://secure.simmar...3d-page-1.chtml The support on their official forums are top notch as well.
  6. 1.3 beta is fantastic so far. Thoroughly enjoying it.This is a superb program with superb support.

  8. Bump. This would be truly godsend. FS2Crew w/ voice commands takes these already amazing simulations to the next level.
  9. hahahaI think the producers had realized that as well. The pieces from late 90s on have more of coma inducing elevator music vibe and less amateur porn riffage.
  10. MD11 followed by JS41 voice. The latter is incredible however and has completely ruined the MD's outdated and button oriented version for me.

    lol
  12. Looks amazing.Any TOPCAT user knows it's an absolute essential if you're really trying to get accurate load and performance information for complex and heavy paywares.Having a flight planner from the same guys...can't wait.
  13. I have no dog in this fight. But: this was/is the greatest example in patience and objectivity from the support side of any software/product/developer/forum I have ever seen.Especially considering it's like Lord of the Flies in here right now.Umberto, my hats off to you.

I can see where you're coming from but I don't think that's completely fair.I've been frequenting his section in the Just Flight forum since the day the product was released. For the past few months or so the questions and the forum in overall have turned from legitimate discussions on support/features to wrestling with the developer over core and unchangeable game features and inanely RTFM level of questions. Also, support in terms of patches and updates to the product; both from customer feedback and developer initiative, is in a league of its own compared to to other products in a similar category.I have no connection to the guy (it's a one man show BTW) or product, but it completely revived Flight Simulator for me and gave it more of a purpose than flying around aimlessly for hours.Just my 2.
