Do they do a fs9 version of the 767-300?

Nope. Only FSX. But if you want a 767-300 for FS9, take the Level-D one. It's been around for quite some time already, but still cutting edge in the FS9 environment.

On systems level yes, on graphics not by a long shot. That said, it *is* the best 767 offering available for FS9. Actually, it's the only (serious) one, come to think of it... All the others are very limited in systems.

They look pretty dated at this point even with the texture mod. Also there's many things which aren't clickable in the VC that have become standard in newer addons. In terms of systems and functionality its still the best 767 and on the top teir of airliners for FS. Infact, alongside PMDG, I'd consider Level-D to be the only other developer that can offer a truly high quality and bug free addon. In light of recent releases, it seems about every other dev can only sell you a half finished 'beta' product.

I guess you know Maddog 2008, DA Fokker or Majestic Software Dash-8?I wonder why one would call them 'half finished beta products'.

The exterior is very good and I like it, but the VC is inferior to everything of more recent times. The overhead is flat and a bit blurry, and mane things in there just don't look that good. I'm not sure what causes it, but it feels... empty. I compare to stuff like the Maddog 2008, which has a VC that is vastly better, or the even the PMDG 747, which has a VC that doesn't look that great, but still is a lot better in terms of functionality than the LDS767's VC. Even the Wilco 737 PIC has a VC that for some reason just "feels" better than the LDS767. I'm not sure why I fele it that way, because arguably, the Wilco 737 PIC has a flatter VC than the LDS767. Still, it somehow feels appropriate, whereas it doesn't in the LDS767.

I honestly don't regard the PMDG 747 as one of the best VCs out there. You read it right. I think Captain Sim VCs, for example, are better. The PMDG MD-11 is also better, in my opinion (don't have it myself, but seen many videos and screenshots. Better texturing, mainly. However, don't misunderstand me: I think the PMDG 747 has a top quality VC, but it's not *the best* out there. Specifically when talking about the FSX version, there opens up an entire new league of FSX VCs that are way above the PMDG 747 VC, including PMDG's J41, but the CS727 is also one of those planes that I think have a top-class VC.And yes, I truly like the Wilco PIC 737 a lot. I can't tell you why, but I always thought it feels right. Not saying it's the best or the worst, only how it feels for me to sit in it. I feel that I like the Wilco PIC 737 VC better than the LDS767 VC. Not saying that one is better than the other, but just that it feels nicer. This is because I have a preference for 1) older cockpits and 2) grey/metal/blue cockpits instead of the ugly brown Boeing tends to use in their newer planes. Again: not because I think it's better than the LDS767. Strictly speaking, the Wilco 737 PIC VC is worse than the LDS767, not good at all... Hardly anything 3D hard to read buttons here and there. And still... I'm not sure why, but I like it a lot.In the meantime, I have deciuded to get both the FS9 and FSX C130. Seems nice to fly it around Israel or Holland (don't have any place else to fly it). Anybody any opinion about it?

I had no intentions on getting the CS 767 for FSX but at that price I'm will now.

Me too... For a total of 19.98 euro, I will get me the 767 base package and freighter expansion. Have mixed feelings about and experiences with CS addons, but at this price, who can resist :(

Thats why I chose to say "about" every other developer. The Majestic is nowhere near up to PMDG/LD standards...the autopilot is extremely poor at times... lack of repaints ect. The Fokker while good, doesn't have a VC yet so you can't class it as complete. Fair enough, although not my cup of tea, I'll grant you the Maddog.I stand by my statement and taking those three and even level-d out of the picture can anyone say there is another company which can 'consistently' provide, complete, top level addons like PMDG has done. Their reputation is there for a reason and the reason is that they don't put a foot wrong. Roll on the NG2, dash8 and whatever else lies ahead.
