January 21, 201016 yr Here's a question you've probably seen time and again. What is your favourite aircraft? I know it's not that simple sometimes, so feel free to split it up into catagories. Here's a couple to get your started. My favourite...GA Aircraft - Mooney M20 (M20J or M20M)Commercial Jet - BA Concorde (of course)Amphibious - Lake Renegade 270 Rotary - Sikorsky S-76Vintage - Supermarine Spitfire MKII'd like to see what your favourite aircraft are! Post away!
January 21, 201016 yr It is very hard for me to choose a favorite aircraft, I like them all :(I am flying GA a lot more, so I do not really have a favorite airliner.Favorite LSA: Evektor Sport StarFavorite Light GA: Cessna 172 (Great reliability, great build quality, great performance, great economy)Favorite Single Engine High Performance: Tie between the Cirrus SR22 and Cessna 400! SR22:I love the performance on the SR22, don't really like the fuel economy too much for climb, interior is not so great, but that should become a bit different with the Xi editions. Choice of Avidyne or Garmin Perspective.------------------------- The biggest problem are these pilots with peanut brains and fat wallets buying this aircraft then thinking they have big balls because of the parachute. Sometimes it would be safer to land then pull the chute, destroy the fuselage, and damage the structure of the plane on landing;.Cessna 400: Love the styling inside and out, performance is stellar, fuel economy great, weeping wing anti-ice is not a standard, no CAPS system for people that will actually use it properly when necessary, awesome styling in the cabin, Cessna Brand (although it was came from the Colombia 400). Glass cockpit is Garmin only. ---------------------When the Diamond DA50 comes out it will kick all of these high performance aircraft @**es no doubt. (Diamond has great safety, clean layouts, and I bet this one will be more comfortable then previous ones)Favorite Twin Engine GA: This is hard as #$#@ to decide, I'll go with the Piper Seneca II. Gold ol plane for fun flying, exploration, and crusin!Rotary: Helicopters scare the heck out of me because they have to be controlled constantly, since they want to spin out of control, but anyway, my favorite heli is the Bell 412EPAmphibian: Maule M7Vintage: J3 Cub if you think its old See You In The Skies...gman!"Impossible things are simply those which so far have never been done." - Elbert Hubbard

January 21, 201016 yr Single engine GA: Columbia 400 (now Cessna 400)Twin engine GA: Diamond Twin StarTurboprop: Dash 8-400QShort-haul jet: Airbus A319/320/321 Long-haul jet: Boeing 747-400I assume we're talking about RW, not the simulated versions. If the latter however, my favourite existing (and owned) MFS addons are:Single engine GA: Carenado PA-28RT Piper Arrow Short-haul jet: Leonardo Maddog 2008 Long-haul jet: PMDG B747-400

January 21, 201016 yr Rotary: Helicopters scare the heck out of me because they have to be controlled constantly, since they want to spin out of control, but anyway, my favorite heli is the Bell 412EPAmphibian: Maule M7Vintage: J3 Cub if you think its oldGreat Choices all round! Also in my opinion a great choice of GA. I only ever really fly GA, I don't get why some people think they'll have a bigger #### if they fly airliners all the damn time. I'm primarily talking about most 16 year olds. Also I agree with you about helis. I'm pretty awful with them. Any journey in a heli to me feels five times longer!Maule - Beautiful aircraft. If I didn't love the Renegade so much I would have chosen that. And the good old Cub. Lovely, simple, fun and fantastic.1.- SGA Airbus A300B4-2002.- iFDG Airbuses3.- Overland Airbuses. :( Cheers,MABI think we have an airbus fan amongst us... :)Tu-154m, Tu-134 any, Caravelle any, MD-11. Real and sim.Nice choices, I love the TU-154!
January 21, 201016 yr Single engine GA: Carenado PA-28RT Piper Arrow I have that for FS9, but it bounces a hell of alot on the ground at higher speeds, which annoyed me upto the point where I stopped using it.
January 22, 201016 yr I don't get why some people think they'll have a bigger #### if they fly airliners all the damn time.I guess you drive a Mini or a Smart? :( Seriously though, you know, some like blue and others green, some keep chihuahuas and others mastiffs.I'm not sure all turns around Willy.it bounces a hell of alot on the ground at higher speeds, which annoyed me upto the point where I stopped using it http://www.carenado.com/KB/question.php?ID=58

January 22, 201016 yr Hi,It is a tie between the Concorde and the Boeing 747. Both are so unique and awesome in their own ways. The Concorde has speed and power whereas the 747 has such size and dominance. I guess that would be by the United States chose it was the president's aircraft!
