I got trafficX about 2 weeks ago and had several issues getting it up and running, indeed some still unresolved. I have managed to figure most of it out myself, but despite contacting their technical support as requested and posting in the just flight forum, in over a week, no one from the developers has replied to either my tech support request or forum thread.I think that sucks and wondered if anyone else had the same experience or wether i have just been unlucky....Cheers, Mark

Whem I asked about why I could not see my Right Wing in the VC in the Connie I did get an answer. they said it was a limitation of FSX. Huh? I thought. I see my wing in pmdg,leveld,cls,default.... So i replied with this and they said sorry, that I could get a refund if i didn't like the product.Gary

In the VC you will only see the wing if it is modeled. Not all developers do this, some only do one windows, others none. This is presumably to increase performance. In FSX though you can view windows via the aircraft view function. Right click Mouse, select Aircraft. A sub menu will appear the first 2 are the wing view. These should be available on all aircraft. You can move the view around using the Ctrl and/or Shift-Enter or Backspace key combos. The downside is it uses the external view mechanism, so the sound will be exterior sounds.

Like you, I just suck it up and resolve the problem myself, or avoid the situation that led to the fault.It's a pity really, because I actually like the products of theirs that I do have - Traffic X, Flying Club X, C-130 X and Rescue Pilot Mission Pack to name most. Nowadays, when I see something they have that I might like to get - I look (and take my money) elsewhere to see what the other guys are doing.Maybe the ol' GFC has whittled their staff numbers down so bad that they can't keep up with their customer base anymore? Sorry, I don't know anything about Plan-G, but the FAQ does refer to a problem like this.Are your AI traffic sliders set to a reasonable level for your area? Have you checked out Traffic-X's settings? (It's a separate program in the JF folder).

This sounds like a DirectX 10 problem. I don't use DX10 because I can't live with the J-fighting that still plagues most airfields in FSX. Traffic-X is DX10 certified and I have seen mine in DX10 without fault. Are you sure the aircraft you're looking at are Traffic-X's AI ones?

There is a forum for most of their 'big' projects. The links to them are seen on the left middle of their homepage. Hey Owi, I read the FAQ's, i downloaded and used the pld bgl finder tool, I patched to service pack 1. The white planes are defo the ones added after the programme installed. I am not using DX10. But thanks for the suggestions.My sliders in FSX are at 66% and in the traffic generator at 100%. What settings do you use? I also found ,registered and posted on the forums there, but no one from just flight has responded.......Anyway, you live and learn, iif I cant get it sorted, I will just have to buy another programme and chalk it up to experience.Its amazing that service and support is that random, jeez, as an internet operation, its pretty much the only thing they have to do, they have no shops or premises or delivery vans etc .......As a user of the same product, do I have to make any flight plans? Hey Mark,I vary my FSX traffic sliders between 60 and 100%, and I don't recall what I have it set to in TrafficX. In fact, I don't recall a traffic density setting there at all. :( I'll have to check and get back to you.What I do know is that I fly primarily in Australia because of the great scenery from ORBX/FTX and I use their freeware AI Traffic for Aus too. Because of potential conflict with Traffic-X AI, I have deselected Traffic-X from flying in Aus. That said, I have flown elsewhere in the world, at 60 or 100%, and I haven't seen any problems.I don't always make flight plans, so no I don't think you have to. You have the last comment right. The aircraft should be where you've asked them to be. Because I've noticed that they do tend to stick to the airports schedule pretty accurately, try loading a flight at a really busy airport at peak time to see if they are there.Cheers,

I've had decent experience with their support for the Constellation. In case your interested, the expansion packs for the Constellation feature additional outside views including a new view of the left wing. I went and applied the new views to the earlier model and it works fine. I always adjust and tweak the views to my liking and use the assignable HotKeys which makes it easier to access the views.Lee

Hey again, Mark.I checked my Traffic Controller pages and, yes, there it is (going blind I reckon :( ). Set to 100% just like yours. I hadn't noticed (or paid attention to) that before, so it must be a default level. What I did do, though, is go over the aircraft list and check those that I wanted to appear while I'm flying. I have a fairly large and varied selection. more than the default selection I think, but it could also depend on the types that you choose (you don't see too many 747's landing at the local GA airport, eh?) :( Cheers,

I bought Justflight's Rescue Pilot some time ago and have just started using it, I've tried 3 different missions and the same thing hapens in each - Get about half way through and the mission stops - no further action.I tried to get on JF's site but it seems to be off the air. Are they out of busines??

Can't get on their site at the moment, but I should imagine it's a website issue rather than them going out of business, or at least I've not heard anything in that regard which would make me think they'd gone bump. Someone probably forgot to put a coin in the meter LOLEdit: I just emailed PC Pilot's dep editor Jane Rachel Whittaker to see if she knows what's up, since I know she has a few buddies at Just Flight. But since it is 23:45 here in Blighty at the moment, if JF's server is down, it's a safe bet nobody's there at the minute to kick the generator.Another edit: JRW tells me she hasn't heard anything untoward about Just Flight, so it's probably just the server.Al

I went thru the Flying Club, Flying Club x and A320x airliner purchases from JF. I had some communications with JF support and it took about a week to 10 days for an email turnaround. The first response always seemed to be "some dumb response" but I just sent a new reply every day until I got an answer. I only saw two real names on the emails so they may have a truly limited support staff. Martyn was one, can't remember the other.
