I've already got dibs on finding out what they're doing at Groom Lake if he wins. :(
No more credit to make flying saucer or drink beer with alien, they are all working to resolve the economic global crisis. :( Benjamin

  • My god... So that's why he's slow answering his emails :( Seriously though, I wish him all the best. I hope he gets what he wants, after giving us what we want for a period so long. Good luck, Robert

Is he Blue or Red?

Google it. I'm what he is, and I don't want this to turn into that kind of thread.

Very cool! If I lived in Nevada, Robert would get my vote -- but only if he promised that his election wouldn't slow down the release of the 737NGX, the Dash-8, and the 777. These are really important issues for me, you know! :( Anyway, I think Robert would be an asset to the people of Nevada. Best of luck to him! Will be looking forward to following his campaign and seeing how he does.As for Robert's affiliation, I'll give everyone a hint: the incumbent Lt. Gov. in Nevada is a Republican who is running unopposed on that side's primary this year. I'm a moderate independent, so party label matters less to me than individual qualifications. But I really hope this thread does not degenerate into political sparring -- if Robert's affiliation isn't your cup of tea and you happen to live in Nevada, then by all means, go vote for the other guy and leave it be.

Best of luck to you Robert in the game of politics and community service! Its nice to see that the CEO of PMDG also cares for his local community as well as his virtual.for the rest of you....how did you find this out? do you guys randomly search his name to see what pops up? scary :)

It has always bothered me that I couldn't see Roberts whole face in photos to do with PMDG. His profile photo hides his eyes too much and I always like to see a person eyes if I have to do any kind of business with them. Even if it is over a server buying their products. So every once in a while, I do a search on Yahoo, google, facebook, myspace. (You may be surprised how many Robert Randazzos there are). And before I forget, I was told to get it right. It's Lt. GOVERNOR. Not just Governor. :( Goran

Yep, just want to say before anything like that happens that there's not going to be any political debate going on here, that is the last thing we need on this forum lol. I'm kinda surprised though that no one figured it out from his stance on issues - that should mean a lot more than a letter or color if you ask me...

Can we get a statement from the candidate that his victory will not, in any way, effect the PMDG release schedule? Otherwise, I'll have to give heavily to his primary opponent. :( I think that's a platform that we can all agree on in this forum.

He's a democrat. Watch your wallets citizens of Nevada.Jeff P.

Seems to me that running for Lt Governor of Nevada would be sorta like seeking a commission as First Mate on the Titanic--after it's already hit the iceberg.I guess even a sinking ship needs someone at the helm waving to the tourists in their lifeboats while the Cap'n is out deep sea fishing with Harry Reid in his launch. :( Bob ScottColonel, USAF (ret)ATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VColorado Springs, CO

Gents-Thank you very much for the kind words and wishes. It is interesting to have all of you get a glimpse of the "other 75%" of my daily life!Yes- the site is legitimate- and the effort is a serious one. This process started as a dinner conversation with close friends and advisers back in November of 2008, and it has been a long and fascinating road to this point! The decision to enter the public arena in Nevada was a serious one that required some very intense soul searching to ensure it is the right decision for me and for my family. I have been neck-deep in the process since April, however and I am eager for the next few months ahead! For those of you unfamiliar with my state- Nevada has suffered an extraordinary crisis of leadership the past few years- and it has devastated many people's lives to a degree that may never be un-done. Some folks run from a disaster- but in this case I am putting myself smack in the middle of things in hope that my participation will be beneficial. It will be a tough road ahead- but it is a road that I am willing to travel.A few of you expressed some concern about the potential impact to the 737NG and the 777 that are currently in development: I assure you that these development timelines were built with my campaign in mind. The PMDG team has grown dramatically during the past two years- and we have expanded our team, our capabilities, our business offerings and our operational control significantly. Yes- there will be times when I fall behind in my own work, but likely no more so than when I was flying the line. (And I'll have Vin and Dr. Vaos keeping me in line... Don't underestimate them!)As I have been saying for a few years, the PMDG development team is much bigger than any one developer!Ryan asked earlier in the thread if we could please keep any discussion of political views out of this arena. I would like to second that sentiment, as this is not the proper time or place for such conversation as it will only apply to a very small minority of PMDG customers. If you are interested to learn more about the campaign- and what it is like- perhaps we will set up an area specifically for those so-interested... I'll have to give that some thought.Now- if any of you are fellow Nevadans and you want to get involved: Please drop me a PM via the forum and I'll fill you in on how to help out- or where you might get a chance to give me your thoughts and input on the direction of Nevada. If any of you (US Citizens only!) feel so inclined: Political Contributions from individuals are the grease that keeps any campaign going forward- and it would be wonderful to have such backing from members of this community. (You can find the contribution page on the campaign website under the CONTRIBUTIONS tab.)If any of you do contribute- be sure to let me know by PM via this forum so that I can find a way to thank you personally! Again gents- thanks for the kind words- I'll keep you posted on how things progress.

PLEASE NOTE THAT PMDG HAS DEPARTED AVSIM

Now that's all cleared up, how about a "prize" for the individual who found the site?I still haven't got the MD11 :( Goran
