March 16, 201016 yr You are bouncing around in the cockpit that you would would not know if you had micro-stutters !!! I am referring to the vibration and movement aspect from within the VC that you get using EZDOK (EZCA). It appears to me that this particular aspect is very similar to the Accusim addon for the A2A Piper J3. I know there is a thread which references EZDOK and the request for more FFeedback software etc, but after reading the topic I went to Flight1 and bought EZDOK. Just that movement within the cockpits of ALL aircraft has added yet another dimension to the feeling of reality. I have yet to try any of the possible configurations yet as I cannot get out of flying and churning my stomach. I never knew I was such a rough flyer!Well worth a try with the 30 day money back offer at Flight1.

I am wondering if anyone has used it with this software yet and whether or not it conflicts? RE Thomason Jr.
March 16, 201016 yr Moderator Yeah, its a great addon. I bought it a few days ago and have been experimenting with it. The hardest thing about it in my opinion is trying to find a combo that I like, without too much movement or not enough. Currently I have been using RND for the ground with RND Air turned off, and DHM for the air since it moves you based on actual flight and weather dynamics and DHM landing effects turned off.I will be glad when they give more instructions for how to use all the effects settings.Your right though, with the camera movement it is hard to tell if you have a stutter since the view point isn't still like normal. It appears that right now they will work together in a comprimising fashion, that being mouse emulation mode or switching back and forth from one to the other but they do say that Track Ir compatibility is one of the first things they are going to try to address. Good News! RE Thomason Jr.
March 16, 201016 yr The concept of ezca sounds ace and I was only enquiring about head movements a bit back. But for what you actually get $35 is too steep.Perhaps I'll just have to save my pennies???? Tom Why not read some useful tips and tricks - http://forum.avsim.n...22#entry1965722
March 16, 201016 yr Author No I dont use Track IR. I too think that the price is steep for what it is and for what I would want to use it for. Currently just the internal vibration/movements within the VC are a hit with me and despite not trying any configuration experiments I personally don't think I will be utilising too many of them. Based therefore on my own potential use of EZDOK it works out very pricey. If however i look at the cost of the Accusim effect for the A2A J3 and bare in mind it is only for ONE plane, then having the same effect in ALL planes works out a reasonable cost. Please note that I am ONLY talking about the movements aspects within the VC and NOT any so far untapped config I may be able to do utilising camera positions etc. That is to come !!

The floating head movements adds a lot of realism to flights that were missing before. Although I dont use Track IR so I cant compare, just flying and have your head move around in response to turbulence, wind, ground vibration during the take off and landing, makes it well worth it too me. I tested it the other day in a variety or windy and stormy conditions and it was really amazing. I can see how it, coupled with force feedback would be really cool. Guess I will need to wait for Saitek to come out with an X52 with FF. Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator

For those of you whodo not have Track IR, or never used it before- you don't know what your missing.I am still amazed when I fly with the freedom of headmovement- complete emmersion guys-It's partially compatible using the Mouse Look function according to the developer. It only works in the X and Y axis. Thanks Tom My Youtube Videos! http://www.youtube.com/user/tf51d
March 17, 201016 yr The minute it works with TRACK IR..I will buy it.This addon does look great..and looking forward to it. For those of you whodo not have Track IR, or never used it before- you don't know what your missing.I am still amazed when I fly with the freedom of head movement- complete immersion guys-Yep: That's the way it is: TrackIR, hand-in-glove with EZCA, will be the pinnacle of immersion - OK - add the ButtKicker! I think this is an absolute must. I fly all my aircraft in the VC, with TripleHead2Go and TrackIR: I tried EZCA for about a day and just couldn't get used to the kludgey, 2-axis TrackIR adaption, and going back to the hat for aerobatics is simply not on.That TrackIR is the best invention yet for the natural flyer, and if Mariftarr or the guys at Flight1 can integrate the two - OR (if NaturalPoint won't co-operate) someone else creates a similar apparatus that will dynamically sense head position and will work with Marniftarr/Flight1 to make it happen - then this will become an essential part of "as real as it gets". There's a market out there, guys... and I too, am still amazed at the freedom and reality of vision that it gives. i7 [email protected] | 32GB RAM | EVGA RTX 3080Ti | Maximus Hero VII | 512GB 860 Pro | 512GB 850 Pro | 256GB 840 Pro | 2TB 860 QVO | 1TB 870 EVO | Seagate 3TB Cloud | EVGA 1000 GQ | Win10 Pro | EK Custom water cooling.
